about world 2 it seems its hard coded to strictly adhere to the castle level and will fail just about everything that is loaded into it the first time it was a toad balloon level with no collision or objects
About Roy's castle - the reason it is broken is because the level is programmed to loop indefinitely until you choose the right path. This behaviour is hardcoded and cannot be overwritten.

And then at the end when it’s just Toad, leads me to believe that in the end the invasion was just orchestrated by Toad to get him to sell you guys more mushrooms and stars LOL
i recommend just disabling 2-Castle from being shuffled. the paths in that level are extremely hardcoded 37:33 and that isnt a seperate version that is actually just dependent on your red switch state on the file. you could put red blocks in any level and thats still how it would work

The reason you're getting a bunch of toad stuff is because they're all considered different levels, with W1-9 having 6 different variants of red toad houses(from naturally spawning, or toad rescue/multiplayer and double timer digits), making 54 unique red toad house stages. Then there's 9 possible star toad houses for the 9 worlds, then the 1 up houses which have one layout per world, so there's another 9, and then the enemy courses with 14 different stages across W1-8. So you have 54+9+9+14=86 levels featuring Toad. Youre only pulling from a total of 172 main story stages(including all enemy courses, peach's castle, all main levels, all cannon, and all variants of toad houses, as well as credits) plus the 5 coin battle levels. In other words, 48.5% of all levels are toad levels. And you'd have to play the red toad houses of all 9 worlds at least 6 times each to get all the variants.
It would be amazing if the textures AND levels were randomized, ignoring the soft-locking castle, soft-locking levels like Peaches castle and the credits, and *_Toad_* on the levels, so it would not only be impossible to see anything, but impossible to tell what level you were playing so prior knowledge of the game also wouldn't help

What makes the Randomizer funnier than I originally thought is that it also takes the Level Data from the “Reward” Toad Houses (from either doing the Toad Rescue missions or completing the level with matching numbers) as well into consideration for the randomizer, meaning there’s almost as many Toad Houses as there are levels in the game because of this factor

Next time you do this randomize everything except the credits, title, and peach house
about world 2 it seems its hard coded to strictly adhere to the castle level and will fail just about everything that is loaded into it the first time it was a toad balloon level with no collision or objects
