the colour payoff of the lighter shades in the Crystal Drama palette were underwhelming, but the darker shades were really nice. I found when applying either with my fingers or brush [typically Sigma/Mac brushes, for reference] the lighter shades were really 'barely there'. So, I'd test it out on your finger in store before buying to make sure it's what you want.
