Plot twist: M &P Shield. Seriously, I don’t understand how it’s almost year 2025 and people try to make these comparisons without a Shield in the mix. Total bush league. Come on Mick you’re better than that!
Not really a plot twist because that wasn't the discussion. I could certainly make comparisons for the rest of my days. The question was posed, so I obliged. I won't and can't make that comparison like I did in the video here. I have very little time with the SW which would make any discussion by me disingenuous youtube BS, like most "reviews". @ haha lighten up Mick! Just a little fun banter from a long time follower and supporter of the channel and your Gunfighter Gun Oil! Check out the SW Shield and the Shield Plus. Personally I like the 4” barrel version as I find it’s the perfectly balanced EDC gun. Similar to the P365 XL but shoots a little smoother and flatter. Carry on brother
Lighten up? Who's heavy? You made a statement, I responded. I'll add those little S&Ws can't match capacity of the other blasters in question, so it really become and apples to oranges thing
@@CarryTrainer yes lighten up, it was harmless banter and you seem to be taking it too seriously. It’s just the internet my friend :) You must be talking about the older Shields. The Shield Plus man, it’s been out for years now and can certainly match the capacity. 10+1, 13+1, or 15+1 mags. Plenty EDC of capacity that’s still small and comfortable enough for all day carry and pleasant to shoot. If you have the chance, get some trigger time with one if you want. I would love to see your take on the Shield Plus after you’ve put one through the paces. They come in a 3” or 4” version, and also have ported and comped versions as well from the factory. I stopped carrying my Glocks and P365 XL (which are still great guns, but options are good). Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Enjoy the special time of family friends and food coming together.
@josh48315 you didn't state the shield plus. As I stated I don't need to be told to lighten up. The phrase that's it's just the internet is silly. It's two humans having a conversations. Say what you mean, mean what you say.
The pistol market is so fun right now. All of us have so many opinions about so many great pistols that it leads to extremely fun discussions, often heated, seen friends get so mad at each other that they swore never to talk to each other over again, obviously one is a Sig guy and the other is a Glock guy. Neither one of them seem bothered about M&P, Walther, Ruger, CZ, H&K, etc. Not sure why these two brands spark such enmity with each other, there are plenty of brands to love and despise but I guess that's just how it works. They do that about twice a year so it's like clockwork and no big deal. My wife is from Alabama and it reminds me of the Alabama/Auburn thing.
I kept on going back to the G26 after testing out alot of the micro carry guns. Will be sticking with it. Its very shootable, concealable, and durable. As always thank you for all that you do.
Hey I’m looking at my options on ccw always going back to my first want the G26. Today I went to the gun shop. Looked at G26, 43x, P365 in several configurations Still thinking G26 Maybe 43x
@josephpuchel6497 The G26 shoots like a larger gun due to a little more weight and dimnsions. It also holds 10 rds and in that configuration the grip is shorter than the G43x making it more concealable ( for me at least). Also take into account versatile capacity ranging from 10-33 rounds.
@@josephpuchel6497I’m carrying a G26 after a year with 43Xs and 48s. For me the 26 shoots far better and conceals better, but the 48 is slightly more comfortable. I love that the 26 shares holsters and mags with the larger guns like my 34
@ that makes it shoot better and index more consistently than the smaller micro nines. I tell people it conceals like a micro nine but the comfort is closer to a true double stack like a 19. Since I carried Berettas and G19s and 17s for years, the 26 rocks as I get more concealment and great shoot ability, and it’s the level of comfort I’m used to.
@@ericadventuresafieldafloat513 $3000 2011 with dot and light vs what I’ll have on me when I’m at the gas station with the kids and what I can afford to practice with.
Carried Glock on duty for 25 or so years. Never fell in love, although I will say if you pull the trigger it goes boom. I carry the 365 in Summer and the X Macro in winter and am very pleased with both
Have gone full circle myself with using several different of the smallest versions and have just gone back to a G19 GEN 5. Can conceal it easily, has the capacity, and shoot it better. Keep kicking butt Mickey!
Glock 48 is identical to a G19 in every dimension except width. And, using the Shield Arms 15 rnd mags, it carries as much, too. I find it much more comfortable to carry and shoot (I'm 5'6 and my hands are not the largest...).
@@craigcicerello4289 I didn’t know that. I’ll have to go and get one in my hands. I’m 6’1 and my hands aren’t big either. A G19 fits my hands pretty well, I don’t think I could have anything bigger ( if so I may have to work on my grip )
I just picked up a 43XMOS 2 days ago and I love it. It’s so light and thin and a small handgun, but it actually fits my hand perfectly. I have pretty big hands and I was really surprised on how well it fits me. I’ve had about several different Glock models and this one by far is my favorite.
Nice video! I took Scott’s class with my 43x. Glad I did because it allowed me to really focus on my grip without it being a crutch. Now I get to enjoy those improved skills on larger full sized
Good call! I love my Glock43X MOS. It’s very accurate and I haven’t broke any parts after 3000 rounds. I carry it every day and shoot it more than most of my guns. Thank you Micky for the topic and comparison
I took a class with Mick (used my G26) and found his instruction and ideas to be very logical and reasonable. My son is shopping for a pistol and I'm going to forward Micks words of wisdom to him so that he can make a good choice. Thanks for the info!
100% accurate on all counts. I couldn't have said it better Mick. I have had all the failures you mentioned regarding the Sig P365 (X macro comp version). I have had zero problems with G19 and G48. They run like sewing machines.............keep up the great work! I look forward to training with you when you come to SW Ohio some day. Bravo Zulu!!!!!!
Appreciate a video that actually comes to a definitive answer instead of "both are great guns , can't go wrong either with either gun." Bit then again Micky doesn't mond offending anyone😂
11k rounds through my 43x mos. Fitted with a EPS carry, tlr7 sub and train with purpose trigger shoe. I absolutely love it. My recoil spring is just now beginning to give out a bit but still extremely reliable overall and I never run into anything a tap rack won’t fix. I’ve had virtually zero FTE or FTF malfunctions due to the gun. I have had a few with psa 15 rd mags but it was because of the springs in them. Stock 10rd mags do me right and are plenty capacity in my opinion
I stopped carrying my P365X 2 weeks after I got my IWI Masada Slim when it was released. It has been phenomenal and the best imo out of all microcompacts which I own. It's superb in every way, less recoil, better capacity, very accurate, never has jammed and shot 17 or 18 different types & brands of ammo through it.
I carried a G-26 since 1996 and after buying a Sig P-365 I really like the Sig so much I now own two of the basic 365's both hit right where I point them, one I shoot the other I carry, once a month I break my carry gun down and wipe it down with break free. It's a tool not a toy, if it gets a little rust I don't care, the little P365's meet my needs for every day carry 365 days a year. I'm an old man now and will never shoot as much as our friend Mickey, I just do what works for me. I'm 5-7 the little Sig carries and hides so well for me, it's always with me IWB 3:00
I have my original Glock 19 I got in the mid 90s, been used and carried for years, and I can’t recall any issues with it ever, I only have 3 other 19s.
AGREED , not now or ever been thrilled with the look of the Glocks. BUT now own 12 of them cause THEY WORK. And a minor mental thing for me [ retired cop ] is the having a full size [ G-19 close enough ] is a "thing" that I cannot explain. IF you are ever in harms way , you will understand what I mean. And hell yes to Ben and his amazing work.
The Sig P365 family of pistols is the most innovative, the best engineered, the most advanced design that the gun industry has ever produced. Sig faithfully keeps improving its offerings to the gun public and will continue to do so. Sig is the best choice for me. Glock is retro and stuck in the 1990s.
I love mick! Don’t ever change man! My edc is a box stock Glock 49, haven’t even changed the sights yet, I want to put 10K rounds down range before I get sights then 20k before I get an optic, just a reward system I came up with for myself
Liked the trigger on my P365, carried it for almost 3 years. Switched to a G19/X300T and got gifted an ACRO for Christmas. My favorite gun of all time. Would like to try a 43X or a Shield Plus.
I’ve hated the Tupperware pistols since 1982 yet I carry a 19 because it fits my hand, it’s easy to conceal. it has never failed, and it’s simple to maintain.
Midwest Gun Works has most P365 parts on hand. Great place for factory parts for lots of guns in general. Great video and in depth look on these pistols. I jumped all over them when they came out and that was when the Sig Store in NH would sell direct to LE/MIL. Before mine could ship they called and said something was wrong with it and they would ship late. Then when I got it, half the rear tritium sight was dead. I sent it back and Sig fixed it very quickly. I got rid of it a few months later as I just did not trust it and went back to my M&P Shield. Today I have a P365XL and really like it, however still have all my Shields and trust them much more. Great point on going double stack and having mag that can be cross used. As for the Glock 19, it just does not fit my hand at all, so the M&P series is great option. I am currently trying out the CZ P10F, C and S and I am very impressed with this platform.
Of course a full size gun is better, that’s not news to most people. But “Always be armed" is the number one rule of carry. What if you just can’t carry a full size due to non-negotiable constraints? That’s why the micro niche is so populated with new models. And as far as Glocks are concerned, you seem to do a lot of customization to make them right. The best gun is the one you have on you based upon your immediate situation. Sometimes I carry a Beretta Tomcat because it’s better than no gun at all. But then controversy in the comment section is good for the algorithm lol. Anyway, you know your stuff, I always enjoy your content.
I have a hard time going against my 365. I know it inside and out. That said, I did have the trigger reset spring break on me at 8000sh rounds. I replaced it, also didn't have problems finding or getting parts for it. I am also working a little 43X into my rotations in classes. I have seen both Glocks and SIGs break.... As you said, stuff breaks. Glocks are incredibly reliable.... on the same note, I have seen a lot of SIGS run really well too. To each their own, TRAIN WITH YOUR CARRY and you will learn a lot about your carry gun. It's data worth collecting.
Some people have gone 14000 without a breakage, some more. Realistically, I'd just replace the spring after about 5000 just to make sure. I'm getting close to the point where I will likely replace mine. I have a backup FCU that can go in, but the spring swap isn't supposed to be hard.
Well done! I really like my g43x w/dot. I never had 1 issue with Shield Arms. I got a Gabe White pin with a Glock 43x…… I was pretty proud about that…. Everyone else was running much larger and modified guns… but I carry it about 1/2 the time… I git a HK P30 that is phenomenal!
I have a 43X as well as the 365X. They are both great pistols and I love them both. That’s why I have both. I don’t think either one of them is better or worse. No need to choose for me.
Glock 17 Gen 5, 25000 rds. Learned pistol shooting with the stock trigger. The gun never failed, but i did. This gun seems to be unbreakable to me. It worked flawlessly evee when i made a mistake reassembling it after cleaning... I would trust my life to no other firearm.
As a 40yr retired LEO who is also a State Certified LEO Firearms Instructor since 1993 I found only One caliber of Glock that was problematic for my high round count officers and that was in .40 cal. I eventually transitioned the Dept to .45 cal to avoid the stress failures in the Glock slides and some internal parts.
I liked my 365. Then I added a Wilson Combat XL gip module and now I LOVE my 365! The grip is grippier and the mag falls free. As an EDC, it is head and shoulders above the Glocks. BTW - through thousands of rounds...ZERO malfunctions. Glocks are big and blocky in my hands - and contrary to modern lore - they malfunction as much as any good pistol.
I have a Glock 43x. It's small. But not to small. I can get a full grip on it. From the first time out at the range. I can put 10 rounds, the size of my fist. The first time out. At 10 yards (Indaviduel results may very, ) Not bad for my first Glock. 😊 Thanks Mickey for your review. 😊
That grip is a beautiful thing. It’s why I chose the 43x. Super compact and a great purchase on the grip everytime. And that reliability. Just can’t go wrong OEM everything always.
With the P365, fine pistol, my wife loves the XL. She's not a very large woman and it's the first pistol she was comfortable shooting, has taken training and become a pretty good little operator. Since that as a springboard she's upgraded her taste and when we go to the range or up in the mountains shooting she chose a CZ Shadow 2 Compact, so proud of her. We live in maybe the safest mid to large sized city in the country, however, these days crime being what it is I'm happy she has her conceal permit and I feel more comfortable she' can protect herself when I'm not around. However, do not take out the frame pin thingie if you don't know exactly what you're doing. I know not to as I've screwed up a lot of stuff on pistols trying to pretend like I'm a gunsmith. I'm not going to pretend I know all of the vocabulary but you know what I mean. Apparently there is a pin detente spring in there that flies off and your pin won't stay in the frame after that.
I have all three. They are all really good. Personally, I shoot the 43x best. The 48 and 43x just feel good in the hand. I use Shield 15-round mags in the Glocks, and they work great. No failures of any kind. That is a huge +. The Sig is the most concealable, and my wife carries it as a purse gun. This was a good review.
I live in New York City. I recently got my CCW in May 2024 took a year and a lot of red tape but I’m not mad I’m now able to protect myself in these mean streets of this concrete jungle, my first purchased is a Glock 48 mos the only mod I did on it was I put a red dot which is really green. My question to you is should I purchase a Glock 19 or should I hold off and see if Glock introduces any new models in 2025.I understand that the Glock 48 is just a slim version of the 19 that’s why I am up in arms trying to figure out my next firearm purchase. I do not wanna have any buyers remorse. Thank you for the video was awesome.
I’ve got a 27 with a 9mm barrel that I carry with a 19 mag with a grip extension. I’m accurate with it and can shoot it reliably. The only issue I’ve ever had is with a jam when I had a .40 cal mag loaded with 9 mm. The 19’s are perfect and give it a full size grip. But, 90% of the time I’m carrying a Kimber Micro or S&W shield 9. Never handled a 48, maybe I’d love it but right now the shield is perfect for me and the micro has stolen my heart.
Yep to all of that. OTOH, I was issued the M15 (38), M1911A1, M9, and M11. Have tried everything. I kept an old Ruger Speed Six (38), Beretta 92FS, and carry an EZ9.
Great video, thanks Mick. I have to agree with your choice. During my pistol journey I have realized that Glock is Glock for a reason. The guns are simple, reliable and accurate, which is what every concealed carrier needs. I’ve never subscribed to changing anything as it comes out of the box and Ive tried the P320 & P365, I do like them but I trust Glock for my experiences and needs.
Here in CA, we're limited to Gen 3 Glocks, but we now have a bunch of new Sig P365's (P365, X-Macro Comp, XL Rose...). I fully understand what you're saying, and wish I had gotten a G48 when I had the ability to do so. I would wonder how the S&W Shield Plus would stack up against the Glock / Sig.
I like Sig cos when I buy a gun it’s all there n I don’t need to upgrade anything which adds more to the overhead n also the expertise to change the parts. Eg like the sights you’ll also have to get the sight remover not that I don’t have them now !
Great breakdown of two great pistols. Started with the original P365. Eventually got the XL after watching your videos and also have the Xmacro. Rotate all 3 depending on situation. Shot the 43x but feel like I’m stuck with the sig (got magazine and holsters). Thanks for pointing out things to look out for as far as maintenance.
Switched to a 43X MOS after about 4 years of carrying a couple of P365’s and I’m not looking back. I carried a Glock 26 for a couple of decades prior to the launch of the P365’s.
I have a beautiful 43x MOS with a Holosun 507k and gen3 s15 sheild arms mags which run flawlessly...however, im with you, i recently just went back to carrying a G19.5 MOS with stock mags and a trijicon RMR. I dont even think about the 43x anymore.
One thing that stood out to me is all 4 glocks had aftermarket sights, triggers, stipple jobs, and mag releases. The sig was basically stock. It's not an apples to apples comparison when you replace all the down falls the glock comes with out of the box. All that said I carry a shield plus and think it's the best of both worlds and the top option in this space. Cheers.
I kinda of agree. Glock has still the plastic sights right? I have yet to meet a Glock owner that has not replaced two, three or more things: Trigger, sights, extended mag release, extender slide release and on and on. Most P365 owners I know carry a stock gun. Maybe some stippling for better grip.
@mannyaguilar67 absolutely. Im not making a case for or against either just pointing it out. Glocks always have and always will be super reliable and super durable. But they come with their own flaws.
@@seaocean4868 That is a very broad and unsustained opinion: Terribly made and awful company. How so? Not that it matters, but Sigs are made in USA, Glock in Austria, most of them at least.
I put about 3200 rounds through my P365 XL when the trigger spring broke. I emailed Sig and they said the springs should be replaced every 10k rounds or so. This is happening enough based on what I can see online that I do think this is a problem. I have about 7k rounds through my XL at this point and I keep extra springs and other parts just in case. I haven't shot my 365s a lot in the last couple of years because I switched carry guns to a double stack 1911, but I do have several 365s (XL, Macro, Raider) that I will carry when I want to be extra cautious about printing. Based on what I can see, it's hard to argue against the parts breaking issues reported here. I still plan on carrying my 365s, but I'm not putting a ton of rounds through them. I think if you are on a heavy firing schedule, it might make sense to have a training gun and an identical carry gun
Own both and prefer the 43X. Had to change to a Wilson Combat frame for the 365 to feel comfortable in my hand and had to replace the trigger in the 43X. But, I carry my 92x Centurion (with the Vertec grip) as a primary EDC for the same reasons you mentioned for the Glock 19.
so spot on dude. glocks rock, I love sigs and walthers. time on range will do more for you than the accuracy of the guns, over the long run, buy another gun if ya feel like you need
I have both a Glock 43x and an Sig P365, for different reasons and options. I like CCW carry guns, no thicker than 1”, and Glock 43x is also full size grip and shorter barrel length. The base Sig P365, has shorter grip if I want more conceal ability, with a 12 red mag, a full size grip. Both are good guns.
When I did my pistol instructor certification, there was a lady that used a 365 for her certification and had no trouble passing. I like the ones I’ve shot too. Haven’t had the chance to use a 43x yet but it’s on my list
I own both and i share some of the same experiences. YMMV but i prefer to carry my P365x for a few reasons: 1. I've never had a single malfunction in over 5000 rounds 2. I shoot it more accurately (can put all the rounds in the same hole) 3. Grip is way more comfortable and stable under rapid fire (Wilson Combat Grip) 4. I prefer the grip angle of the P365, it points more naturally for me (Even though I've shot Glocks my whole life) 5. I can't seem to get the Glock to function reliably with anything other than 10rd mags (I tried the Shield Arms mags, even changed out the mag release, tried the PSA Mags and they all have issues either not locking back or not feeding the very last round of the mag) 6. If I decide to carry a larger gun, I can add a radian afterburner and an aluminum icarus grip and it turns into a monster. 🔥
I’m not arguing what you’re saying, the only thing I can add is this. I’ve put at least 1000 rounds through my 365x and I’ve never had a jam, stovepipe, or anything else. I pull the trigger it goes boom. I’ve shot a lot of different ammo. Had the gun for going on 3 years now and zero rust. But yes I keep her clean and whenever it gets wet I thoroughly clean it. Thanks for the video
My experience has been the same as yours, only I have shot much less than you through my P365 & P365XL. I've had to send both of these back to Sig for repair 3 times EACH. 2 dead triggers on my XL, and a new barrel, slide, & extractor last time I sent in the P365. They work great when they're working, but can leave you completely with a dead pistol at times. I have also bought a PC Shield Plus 4" ported model that I have also had to send in twice for repairs, but the big difference is that the Shield was able to keep on shooting each time. I have shot a competitor's Glock 48 and thought it was a nice gun & just as accurate as my XL. But I have too many pistols, so I won't be buying another one any time soon. I do the best shooting at IDPA with my CZ P10F with a Red Dot, but the irons on my P10C and Shield Plus are not far behind. If I could only have 1 pistol, it would be my Shield Plus 4" ported model. Shoots like a larger gun with about the same recoil, fantastic trigger, & grip module, right out of the box. But I do pocket carry the P365, as it is the smallest, lightest pistol which means a quicker draw out of the pocket. Anything bigger gets left behind.
This video is totally ironic. I just discovered rust spots on my 365xl carry mag a couple of days ago. And I just noticed that when I shake my xl I hear something loose inside which I haven't figured out what it is yet.
have you done a full disassembly before? It's not hard, and Sig Guy shows you how here on YT. I was nervous about it at first, but just make sure to watch the videos and keep an eye on the parts.
Just a quick note: I watched a recent video by "Honest Outlaw" wherein he ran through several pistols, one of which was the 43x with the Shield magazine, and for the first time in over a thousand rounds, it jammed. Never happened with a Glock magazine.
I appreciate your video very much, even if I'm quite out of time. My Sig experience was a P290 rs. A 9mm micro single stack DA only. I did all my classe with it. I shot 10.000's of round through it. It is not meant for it. Others come with full size guns, i train with the gun i edc. First i got light primer stikes, then the recoilspring broke. I changed to a CZ P 10 S 12+1 and a 21 mag. No probs after over 30.000 rounds. But i don't like striker at all. I built a CZ P08 by cutting the grip to a 15 rounder and ported the barrel. It's easy to carrý and is my range gun and competion gun. Over 50.000 rounds without a single mal function. I clean and oil my mags and clean my gun after every sooting. One day i will buy my first Glock a 10 mm.
Thanks, too happy to have a G19x for winter and a G43x mos Shield rmsc (+shield 15 rounds mag and mag release) for summer… G19x fits much better in my hand and it has a better, crispier, trigger.
@@CarryTrainerbut neither is as safe as a SA/DA gun or a gun with thumb safety and grip safety like many models of Smith and Wesson. Sig makes some larger ones like that but Glock makes none. Plus SW are all made in America by an American company and employing Americans. I have seen Mickey in RUclips training videos using a beretta. And then I saw him in another video bragging on his Sig 365….now lately he is all in on Glock, so what changed? Glock didn’t change so if they are better now than those other guns, they were better back then.
@francostacy7675 we are debating da/sa. Clearly you didn't watch the video. I talk about my time with DA/SA guns. I was shooting them long before they were popular. As Glock, it's always been my number 1 choice. I've seen too many problems with the little sigs. Again, I'll assume you didn't watch the whole presentation. As for bragging, that you haven't seen. I've been very open about the shortcomings that I have seen.
I have more rounds through my 43X than anything else. Not a single issue. I carry it with a PSA 15rd mag that I've put about 5k rounds through (including carry ammo) with no issues. It just fits. It feels like "home". I'm faster and more accurate with it than my other handguns. Plus, it's so comfortable, in any IWB position. I've been carrying a Sig P229 Elite lately, as it was a birthday gift to myself, and it feels like a Rolls Royce compared to the 43X, but the 43X really does seem like the ultimate concealed EDC. It just works.
I have a 365xl and a 43x. My vote goes to the 43x all day. The only complaint I have is slide bite. I must have big thumb webs because I get bit every time I shoot the Glock. I wish they offered the back straps with the beavertails like the larger models so I could pin a beavertail on it.
Excellent video, I had exact same experience on multiple sig, return spring on two after 3,000 rnds approx, sight insert pop out on new unit, and two extractor failures after shooting steel magtech, big mistake on my part. Although no restriction on ammo, they swell and jam in barrel and by forcing slide back to extract the older extractors were trashed. Just wish Glock had manual safety, can’t get past appendix carry with no safety.
Shot my buddies Hellcat Pro...I think HS Produkt could have spent a bit more time with the grip. I'd go with the G43X/49 before the Hellcat, and if I didn't mind not having a rail, then I'd go with the Shield Plus.
Great stuff mick, your right about the sig, we sell a ton of those. And I repair quit a few of them. I keep several trigger return springs on hand at the range for when customers guns go down

Looked at G26, 43x, P365 in several configurations
Still thinking G26
Maybe 43x
@josephpuchel6497 The G26 shoots like a larger gun due to a little more weight and dimnsions. It also holds 10 rds and in that configuration the grip is shorter than the G43x making it more concealable ( for me at least). Also take into account versatile capacity ranging from 10-33 rounds.
@@josephpuchel6497I’m carrying a G26 after a year with 43Xs and 48s. For me the 26 shoots far better and conceals better, but the 48 is slightly more comfortable. I love that the 26 shares holsters and mags with the larger guns like my 34
The g26 is way To Bulky yea it’s concealable but way to bulky for its size
@ that makes it shoot better and index more consistently than the smaller micro nines. I tell people it conceals like a micro nine but the comfort is closer to a true double stack like a 19. Since I carried Berettas and G19s and 17s for years, the 26 rocks as I get more concealment and great shoot ability, and it’s the level of comfort I’m used to.
Much respect for evaluating small guns that people actually carry as opposed to the slicked up full size models featured in most videos.
Yeah, exactly, here’s my super Duper glossed over remanufactured piece of crap that you should buy.

Yes 👏 G19 Gen 5 all the way!!! It is the absolute best at what it does and you can conceal it fairly easy.
@@craigcicerello4289 Hey I just looked it up online and it looks like I would be able to hold a G48 a little better than a G19 even.
Now I'll have to take a look at the G48. Been carrying a G19 Gen 5 MOS for awhile and like it. I always put Apex triggers in mine.
I just picked up a 43XMOS 2 days ago and I love it. It’s so light and thin and a small handgun, but it actually fits my hand perfectly. I have pretty big hands and I was really surprised on how well it fits me. I’ve had about several different Glock models and this one by far is my favorite.
I use 50 grain civil defense bullets. Very light
43x all day
I like MOS version
You're on shrooms Robbins 😂
Love the 43x. It is my backup pocket carry.
Appreciate a video that actually comes to a definitive answer instead of "both are great guns , can't go wrong either with either gun." Bit then again Micky doesn't mond offending anyone😂
I have a few guns. My EDC is the Glock 26 with a +2 Pierce base plate, and the rest of my magazines are Glock 19 for backups.
Stock 10rd mags do me right and are plenty capacity in my opinion
totally agree. i teach and have seen plenty of p365 fail. failure to eject, failure to feed, light primer strike.
You posted a video about zeroing a red dot as soon as I bought one and now you post this the exact day I bought my 43x 😂
That’s what I need less recoil.
@failednone6070 it's an amazing firearm

@@RAWBOT301 Thanks for the tip, friend.
The rust is a deal killer
Totally agree. Never had an issue with my 365 XMacro. Very accurate. Phenomenal Ergonomics. Customizable.
I love mick! Don’t ever change man! My edc is a box stock Glock 49, haven’t even changed the sights yet, I want to put 10K rounds down range before I get sights then 20k before I get an optic, just a reward system I came up with for myself
Better one than none, i prefer the glock between the two but carry a shield plus.
Liked the trigger on my P365, carried it for almost 3 years. Switched to a G19/X300T and got gifted an ACRO for Christmas. My favorite gun of all time.
Would like to try a 43X or a Shield Plus.
The 43x works for me. It was my first pistol, so it holds a special place in my heart. 😁
That CZ is a nice gun
I've been a sig boy for past 5 years but my new year's resolution is to try glock 43X
I’m sure you’ll love it like I love mine!
I am a Glock fan boy and am proud of it.
If we just looked at breakage, what breaks the least is also a clue.
Some people have gone 14000 without a breakage, some more. Realistically, I'd just replace the spring after about 5000 just to make sure.
I'm getting close to the point where I will likely replace mine. I have a backup FCU that can go in, but the spring swap isn't supposed to be hard.
@@Osprey1994 i'd rather not gamble my life on it.
Everything breaks. Replace parts after thousands of rounds is completely reasonable @@Gungrave123
I been carrying a 43X since it came out. Shield Arms over 2500 round reg Glock 10 Round as back up. Not 1 issue😊
The P365 is still my EDC. I like having a nice and small 9mm EDC.
A lot of great information in this video. Thanks for making it.
I have a 43X as well as the 365X. They are both great pistols and I love them both. That’s why I have both. I don’t think either one of them is better or worse. No need to choose for me.
In NYS we oppressed citizens are restricted to 10 round mags so for concealed carry the G19 doesn’t have a capacity advantage over the G43X.
Agreed
Do they have a approved gun roster like here in ca? We can't buy the 43x unless a cop put it up for sale. Gen 3 glocks nothing newer 🙄
@@jimmyjammer3660 We(NYS), don't have your gun roster restrictions but we are limited concerning stocks and suppressors, as well as magazine capacity.
Same here in CT.

I would trust my life to no other firearm.
I own all of the above and I carry a Glock 19 with 17rd spares, trust it 100%.
I've shot both Glock and Sig. That's why I bought and carry a S&W Shield.
Awesome video! Personally i use the 320 line of Sigs. Definitely built better and for more “abuse”. Keep up the great work.
Agreed. I have a 320 and thinking of getting a 43x.
Thank you so much for your opinion and assessment…I have those guns and I carry my 43x the majority of the time…but I do enjoy shooting my P365X
G26 MOS and 48 MOS are personal favorites
I have all three. They are all really good. Personally, I shoot the 43x best. The 48 and 43x just feel good in the hand. I use Shield 15-round mags in the Glocks, and they work great. No failures of any kind. That is a huge +. The Sig is the most concealable, and my wife carries it as a purse gun. This was a good review.
Great video Sir, keep up the great work!!
I have p365x and p365 XL. I carry the Glock 43x.
Not only do I perfer the way the Glock shoots/ feels in my hand... I trust my life with it
I’ve got a 27 with a 9mm barrel that I carry with a 19 mag with a grip extension.
Thanks Micky. Straight forward
You are so right on , I am on OLD DUDE WHO HAS SHOT MANY SIGS AND GLOCKS AND ALWAYS GO BACK TO GLOCKS , THEY JUST RUN!!!!
Thanks for doing the video Mickey!
Yep to all of that. OTOH, I was issued the M15 (38), M1911A1, M9, and M11. Have tried everything. I kept an old Ruger Speed Six (38), Beretta 92FS, and carry an EZ9.
Great info as always Mick!
Glock 43X, by far. 15 + 1 rounds. The best combo.
Gen 3 Glocks are the best
@@TriggerTalesTV but I do wish we had access to the 43X / 48…
I like Sig cos when I buy a gun it’s all there n I don’t need to upgrade anything which adds more to the overhead n also the expertise to change the parts. Eg like the sights you’ll also have to get the sight remover not that I don’t have them now !
Great breakdown of two great pistols. Started with the original P365. Eventually got the XL after watching your videos and also have the Xmacro. Rotate all 3 depending on situation. Ok
Switched to a 43X MOS after about 4 years of carrying a couple of P365’s and I’m not looking back.
I carried a Glock 26 for a couple of decades prior to the launch of the P365’s.
All my full size and compacts are Glocks plus 1 g26 but my micro-compact and EDC is the P365.
The sig is also terribly made and sig is an awful company so i think it balances out. Personally id get the new HK CC9.
Straight stock 43x and stock mags
so spot on dude. glocks rock, I love sigs and walthers. time on range will do more for you than the accuracy of the guns, over the long run, buy another gun if ya feel like you need
Love Sig and Glock I own both...
My EDC is a Sig P365X and I occasionally carry my Glock 45....Can't go wrong wtih either one......!
Again, always good information here! Thank you.
The Wilson Combat frame improves the 365 grip a lot. Magguts increases magazine capacity by 2 rounds.
I own both and i share some of the same experiences. YMMV but i prefer to carry my P365x for a few reasons:
1. I've never had a single malfunction in over 5000 rounds
2. I shoot it more accurately (can put all the rounds in the same hole)
3. Grip is way more comfortable and stable under rapid fire (Wilson Combat Grip)
4. I prefer the grip angle of the P365, it points more naturally for me (Even though I've shot Glocks my whole life)
5. I can't seem to get the Glock to function reliably with anything other than 10rd mags (I tried the Shield Arms mags, even changed out the mag release, tried the PSA Mags and they all have issues either not locking back or not feeding the very last round of the mag)
Get parts on hand for maintenance
I’m liking the 43x with shield arms 15 rounders. 👌
One day i will buy my first Glock a 10 mm.
both, lol. i run both depending on my mood, but i have the most rounds through the 43x. i still prefer the 19 over everything.
I have carried Glock for over 30 yrs. Zero malfunctions, ever. Glock 22 was my duty issue for 28.5 yrs. Why change?
How do you feel about the products and service from the Glock Store?
Thanks, too happy to have a G19x for winter and a G43x mos Shield rmsc (+shield 15 rounds mag and mag release) for summer…
G19x fits much better in my hand and it has a better, crispier, trigger.
I have both and I carry sig 99% all the time
Great video Mick!
It's hard to go wrong either way, but I pocket carry a P365. One feature that absolutely sold me is the thumb safety.
@petesheppard1709 take note, even with that lever the internals are not as safe as the glock
Same here, I think I get a bite every other range trip. I figure I'm just gonna get a callous thumb cuz I love the damn gun.
Skipped right passed those and put a Springfield Hellcat in my holster. Same category of gun.
sort of.
Shot my buddies Hellcat Pro...I think HS Produkt could have spent a bit more time with the grip. I'd go with the G43X/49 before the Hellcat, and if I didn't mind not having a rail, then I'd go with the Shield Plus.
Pistols and women, every guy has their own tastes and preferences. 😎
Great stuff mick, your right about the sig, we sell a ton of those. And I repair quit a few of them. I keep several trigger return springs on hand at the range for when customers guns go down
i think you cant go wrong with either one my self i have the sig p365 an the xl they are great handguns
It is very seldom that we and EDC will have to go tactical. Good to practice but accuracy is golden. Thanks for the advices.
