Absolutely. The Supra is going to be the primary dragcar so it’s always going to be getting tweaks and upgrades but this was a major upgrade. Now we have to make the Buick the ground pounding street car.
Your Toyota Supra sounds awesome and I bet you can get better numbers at the track!🤠🍻

Other than just some little things that I’ve been tinkering with it’s pretty much done and boy it is an absolute animal
Could it be a fuel pressure problem? I had a 1998 Firebird that would fall on its face at full throttle. It turned out to be a dying fuel pump.
Brand new AEM high performance fuel pump. It is maintaining constant pressure at between 50-53 psi under load
oh yea I can hear the supercharger whistling when you launch it but it may need a lil more twink to it maybe the gearbox need tuning a bit. LOL. Also to keep the belt from slipping off (just put a bigger pulley on it) or a slip blocker on the pulley.
Bigger pulley = less boost
Once the engine in the basement all done it’s actually going to get a 20 mm smaller pulley. More boost = more broken stuff. But it will be fun

It is a blast to drive. I can’t wait till it’s fully tuned and running VP ms109
So far sounds really good apart from the serpentine belt coming off there 👍🤙love the progress on it
Turbo lag is not really a problem nowadays unless your running one thats to big. Its not like early 2000s when everyone had the big over sized turbo. And there so good nowadays u dont need a 92mm on your 600 hp bmw like people did in the past..

Without looking at the data i am thinking your afr is a little off try up in the fuel curve a little i would definitely recommend dyno tune before track
I agree. I believe it is a fuel map problem as well. some street driving and runs at the track will get us close. but it will need to get to a dyno soon

bryan ya might wanna reinforce the drivers seat cause when that thing opens up at full throttle it will knock you into the back seat ...its happened to me hahaha ....good work my friend , cheers

Heehee. Seems like a good start. General rule with Toyota gearboxes is don't bang the gears, just go smooth, it'll happen. Just go ba-dum, ba-dum, ba dum, like someone's being 'ba-dum *chssh.* for a joke. :)

Are you saying that Haltech has an auto timing map that builds based on the knock sensing?
yup closed loop knock, ping and detonation control is possible with the 2500, and nexus
It needs to breath better with all that air flow, bigger intake open up the exhaust.
Is the v10 pickup running?

Belts is not a big problem. It sound sweet. Good luck with it.
I put a belt on that’s a half inch shorter today and it seems happy but it is raining cats and dogs here so I can’t go and take it out anyway
