  • In this video, we take you through our detailed process for cleaning and restoring the shine in old, used rubber floor mats. Watch as we transform these mats from grimy and worn to clean and shiny with our professional techniques!
    Step-by-Step Process:
Initial Rinse: We start by using a pressure washer to remove loose dirt and grime from the mats.
Cleaning Solution: We prepare a cleaning solution using an all-purpose cleaner diluted 10:1 (can be less diluted for tougher stains) and Dawn heavy-duty degreaser.
Deep Cleaning: We thoroughly scrub the mats with the cleaning solution to break down dirt, grease, and stains.
Rinse: We rinse off the mats with the pressure washer, ensuring all cleaning residues are removed.
Drying: We dry the mats completely to prepare them for the final step.
Restorative Finish: We spray on our vinyl, rubber, and plastic restorative and protectant, diluted 4:1 for an economical and effective application, and wipe it evenly across the mats to restore their shine and protect them from future wear.

Great video. I've been trying to figure out on a few of your interior videos what applicator you are using. Is it a foam or brush applicator? It creates such a nice and uniform finish.

It really depends on what surface I'm applying something on, I mostly use the spray bottle now and just let it dry naturally

So any VLR product should do the same.. When dried is it slippery?

They usually are gonna be much closer to dry to the touch and will have a little bit of a slick clean feel but shouldn't be slippery if you over apply them it will definitely be slick though!
