Hi, I am putting a question here related to this topic.
You guys can use the trick given in the video to solve this and put your answers in the comment section! I will let you know if your answers are correct or not! The question is: Which number divides 3^77 + 1 completely?

    In the first case x^n - a^n(n is even)=x+a
    2nd x^n-a^n (n is odd)=x+a
    3rd x^n-a^n(n is even/odd) then x-a
How to find the difference whether I'm seeing the 1st case/3rd case
    Kindly explain

No confusion brother. If its even x+a and if it's odd and minus is there then the rule is x-a. That's it. You have to memorise it

    Q) 16^ - 1÷17
    Stept 1→ (17-1)^-1÷17
    Stept 2 → Cancel 17, So you are left with only (-1)^ - 1
Any number to the power even is even. So 1-1=0
    Simple👍
