I have a question. more so a doubt.
In 14^196/360
we cannot apply euler or fermats theorem, bcz 14 and 360 are not co-prime. ok.
So mu doubt is
cant we reduce them to 14/360=7/180 before applying euler or fermats.
And later on, we can multiply the answeer by 2??

Hi dear, it wont be correct as 14^196 if you take 2 as common it will not be 7^96 so you have to make 2^96 x 7 ^96 then you can multiply individual remainders. but that will be lengthy so i suggest u to break 360 into 8 x5 x 9 then find the remainder in each case then find the final remainder. let me know if you want the video solution for this

7:42 No, I don't think this is right! The denominator is also supposed to be raised to the 52nd power. and in the numerator, there should be multiplication going on, not subtraction or addition.

Now(-3)^3÷16

Since remainder is not taken negative
So remainder of given expresion 16+(-11)=5.

ma'am can you explain the concept of the negative remainder
of course I can. simple example if 37 is divided by 4 the remainder will be 1 or we can say -3 ( the next multiple of 4 is 40 and 37 is 3 less than 40) similarly for bigger numbers like 57^3 divided by 4 the remainder will be 1^3 or (-3)^3. I hope its clear now.

She should learn to use the board properly in straight line. She should consider other profession rather than teaching Number Theory. One could teach and learn by first mastering the subject through self study of Books on Abstract Algebra with paper and pencil methods.

17 squared = 289 and 32*9=288 so 17^ 2011 = (17^2)^1005 * 17 as first part gives remainder of 1 hence total remainder is 17.
