Adidas St Alfred Temper Run Review & On Feet / Dad Shoe under the Radar

- Today I'm taking a closer look at the collaboration between Chicago's boutique St. Alfred and Adidas with their work on the Temper Run.
The Temper Run actually released for the first time in 2014 and is not a retro from the 90s even though the design of this runner could mislead you thinking that. It does fit into the current chunky sneaker trend of dad shoes but is probably one of the least favorite models among sneaker enthusiasts. In my opinion unjustly so as it does offer great comfort and great retro vibes. Check out my full review by clicking the video!

it's the little things that make all the difference :)
It is wired because I really dislike other colour ways of this shoe but this collab with Alfred makes the silouhette pop up, the colours are a lot more toned down and harmonious compared to the 90's looking colour ways. I think it creates a trail dimension to the shoe and makes it a lot more "modern" looking
I was hoping they would release some of the original colorways but so far nothing 🤨 I was hoping for the white one with red and blue. And yes, this colorway does stand out amongst the others, I also like the contrastingly colors

Thanks man! I think they're the most Japanese vibed Adidas you can find 😄 I hope they're also going to release one of their old releases again which had some blue and red hits on a light grey upper. That's probably the colorway I like best!

Materials look on point!! Not a fan of the model but the colorway is supernice!! I got some boost tresc in at Fl, they look very similar to this model.
I needed some time to get used to it as well. There have been some great CWs on it already, this is probably one of the best so far. I wish they would re-release a colorway, grey with light blue and red, I think it looks really good. Yeah I have seen the TRESC run as well, it's based on the Temper Run and I have to admit I like it, but don't know if I like it enough to add it to my collection. But for a Boost model definitely solid!

Thanks so much, appreciate it! Bear in mind they fit weird, I have them TTS and was on the fence of sizing up. The toebox is roomy and would be even bigger half up, that's why I didn't size up but am kinda thinking I should have. And if you have anything wider than normal I'd suggest you go up a half size. Can't remember where I got the laces from, but light blue shouldn't be a problem to find.
Where did you found them on sale, because overkill has them for 60€ and idk if i wanna cop them.

I'll be honest not what I would buy - however they'll sell loads - not sure about dad shoe as they will appeal to the younger generation /market - blue laces 100% when wearing them - good review again. 👍

I may be able to get some laces that are a touch lighter, which will be perfect. But I actually don't mind the extra hue, it's little more pop :)

Yeah I think they did a great job here! You might want to go up a half size from your true size, they are a little snug spending in your preference or shape of foot. The laces are sky blue/light blue. Cannot remember which shoe I took them from 🤔 thanks for checking out the video!

I have never tried the Yung 96 but as it's similar to the Yung 1 I suppose it's the same size. The Yung 1 for example is a little wider and a wee bit longer in the foot than the Temper Run.

Yes, the light blue part at the side and at the heel is 3M. I just noticed that the heel part is also 3M by flashing a light at it because it doesn't even appear that way. Thanks for checking it out, I didn't find much on them either that's why I did it 😊
I wear 7.5 on most adidas but 7 for superstars/stan smiths. Which size do you suggest I go with?
There are few shoes that give me a headache when it comes to sizing and this one does. Go at least TTS as with most of your adidas, if not even go up a half size. I think they fit a little weird, out them on again yesterday. TTS is snug bit wearable if you like a snug fit. If you want more room then go up a half size. Going up will have more room in the toebox altogether, width and height. Personally I'd try half up, especially if you have normal wide feet and wider
So at least a 7.5, if not an 8

maybe you should capture on feet abit far from figur maybe more natural scene during walking . :)
been doing that in other videos, I don't shoot long separate on feet anymore though. I rather include it in the review now because it fits in better and doesn't make videos longer as necessary :)

Basically went TTS but the left foot is right against my toe, so it's so uncomfortable. I may try removing insoles because such a beautiful shoe. Love the lace swap!
