Today I make liners for my Dash Smartstore Dehydrator in a "How To" video. If you got something out of the video please give it a thumbs-up and share it with your friends!
Hi...ty for the vid info. I was concerned about the plastic webbing that isn't displaying "Food Grade". It seems older plastic drinking bottles in a sun-warmed car promoted chemical leaching and so my concern with this item used in a machine that warms up. Cheers to abundant health:) p.s. For years I used this Ronco Dehydrator-no thermostat or timer. I made parchment paper liners and in the morning, I had 3 melted trays...It was frightening;0) Somehow the parchment paper maybe held onto the heat a bit too well? anyway, yes, Cheers to our continued Evalation-not a typo, hehe, it's the two words evolving/revelation.
@@AnnsTinyLife that's why I bought this mini-dehydrator. I wanted to meld the things I enjoyed from living in a sticks and bricks with the freedom of vanlife. Believe it or not, there were SOME things I enjoyed about living in a house. (just not high mortgage payments, high electric bills, etc lol), so I'm trying to incorporate those things into my new life and so far it's working out great! I hope you can find a way to do it too.
@@travelinggypsie2085 I hope I can figure a way to dehydrate that doesn't take up too much space or energy. I stocked my pantry with a ton of stuff I dehydrated and I know I will use it all!
I'm not sure about the stuff I used but I've been using it and haven't felt ill. I'm sure you could find food grade plastic if you look on amazon with that search term.
Your really are brilliant at coming up with DIY solutions!
Thanks!...I have always been sort of crafty and I like to think outside of the box.

Thank you:)
This would be so good for jerkey
Yeah, that's what prompts a lot of people to buy a dehydrator but then they see how many other things they can dehydrate after buying it.
I sure could have used this diy advice before I dehydrated spaghetti the last time I used my dehydrator. lol
I wish I would have posted it earlier...lol It's not too late to make the liners, tho....for next time!
Plus, You can also use parchment paper if you feel like the food may stick.
@@travelinggypsie2085 I'm not sure I can use it in my van. I may try to make a solar dehydrator though and use them in that.

It's the long tems use effects that is the worry. Always use food grade.
In my big dehydrator I just used parchment paper. Cheaper than the one you got at Walmart.
Mmm non food grade plastic flavor
