  • So I used to be bad at bowling. That was until I spent a summer improving my average from 50 to 150. In this time I got a max score of 247. I then took a year off for school and I'm back this summer for the perfect game. Let's see what it takes?!?

    Quick tip. Your swing timing is early even for a 1 handed bowler. so for a two handed bowler its very very early. You should try to have your ball at the bottom of your swing when your weight shifts onto your foot in your third step ( in a five step approach). Having your swing be later like this will mean there is less time to fill with it so a lot of the erratic / difficult to control movements in your approach can be minimised 👍 Hope this is helpful, good luck

      I guess now I just have to put it into practice. Shouldn’t be too bad, right?🫤

    You look like you're having fun man, that's the most important thing. You got lots of advice in the comments and I'm sure IRL too, work on it and you'll get better! Perfect game here you come!

      The whole point of this channel is to show everyone that you can have fun and be bad at something, that’s just how learning works. Improvement is the goal, not perfection. Ironic though cause I’m going for a perfect score😂

    The things that I saw was that you need to roll the ball onto the lane, this is because you're coming around the top of the ball and your hand is coming across the left side of your face (this leads to inconsistencies). To fix this you need to use your legs more and not pull up or with the ball, buying shoes with interchangeable slides may help instead of planting. Your left hand also lets go of the ball on your upswing.

    220 average bowler here. You don't seem to have any consistency in your shot. It really looks like you are just kinda winging it down the lane every shot without any forethought on what you need to do to make it to the pocket. The other suggestion of starting center and aiming at the second arrow and moving left until it works is great advice. Pick a spot and shoot it, really focus on starting with your feet at the same spot and hitting your arrow every single throw. The other suggestion about a lower release is good advice as well, but it would be difficult to explain how to fix that in a short comment. If you ever want do stream a session and discuss and work on things, hit me up.

      It’s all amazing advice. I never had any formal training and it’s also been a year. I’ll definitely need to focus on my techniques. The main point of this video was to just see where I was at for a starting point. I’ll go back to the basics for the next video. I really like all the feedback and your idea for a stream!

      Nice, even my suggestion was deemed good by a pro bowler ☺️ (I have no idea on how to fix it tho)

    I learned to use the dots and the arrows. As a 2 hander. start in the middle of the dots, throw the ball to the sencond arrow on the right. Move 1 dot to your left until you hit a strike then stay on the dot. I got to a 200 avg in 2 mnths doing just that

    Try getting lower on staying level with yourself I’m a 2 handed bowler myself. Just try and get you hands under the ball more and stay low to keep yourself consistent

  • @Prypak
    @Prypak Месяц назад

    I ain't no pro bowler, but your release seems too high to be consistent, maybe (don't take my words for it), that's what you should be working on

      I actually didn’t haha, that’s so funny. I guess I got a little lower than 165! It would probably help if I watched the ball all the way through😂
