I had the chance to go to the 女王蜂 (Queen Bee) live like 2 weeks ago. (I'm currently living in Japan) It really was incredible! Avu-chan has such an amazing voice. There was an acapella part as well. It really was stunning!

Queen Bee is such a phenomenal artist... a lot of first takes make me so nervous on the behalf of the performer because it feels like they might be nervous about messing up or something, but I get none of that from Queen Bee, it just feels like they could play with this natural vocal range that they have, with total confidence all day long. they're just so impressive to me, and the combination of vocal style and visual presentation, even for a more behind-the-mic type video... they're just so cool to watch. also, I'm actually kind of glad this one didn't get as memed around and overplayed as Idol... because I think Idol kind of wore on people after a while, which is unfortunate because of how good it is.
I remember reading in some article that Avu-chan has to stop being human when she sings. Literally, I felt that Avu-chan became an angel or a demon and sang enchanting songs.
Honestly the one-two punch of Idol and Mephisto as OP and ED may have come the closest to the the one-two punch of the greatest OP/ED combo of all time: Tank! and The Real Folk Blues. Avu-chan was absolute fire in this cut. The acoustic take caught me off guard at first because it was so unexpected, but it drew me in the next beat. Oh, and "Mephisto" or Mephistopheles is the name of the demon Faust made his infamous bargain with in Goethe's play. Which is another tie into the themes of Oshi No Ko, "What are you willing to bargain with to get what you want?"
Just for clarification, Queen Bee is the name of the band, the singer is Avu-chan. Also, I highly recommend the Dororo opening, Fire, and her First Take version of that as well
The ending was the first time I'd heard of Queen Bee, and I was very surprised when I saw the First Take video show up. Everything about it surprised and intrigued me, from who Queen Bee is and their origins to their vocal range. Amazing prescence!

I heard this song on Spotify before learning from this very 1st take video that it was the ending theme of Oshi no ko and my word does it do the story justice! From Avu- chan's performance and star factor to the lyrics. It fits so damn well 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I watched the first take video of this song like three times in one sitting just to appreciate the hauntingly beautiful and striking way Avu chan performed, and remains in character from start to end. I noticed that cast as well and did wonder if its due to an injury, then when I watched the MV for the song and saw this same outfit (cast and all) in the second half of the video I thought "oh maybe it's just part of the outfit" though I can't say for sure

Day 61 of recommending the Beyblade openings. There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. I made playlists on my channel, so you don't need to search, cause in those compilations are a few off and not in the correct order. Thanks for checking out!
It's possible that the ED doesn't get as much attention because I think some folks literally just stop the episode when the credits hit. Folks might watch the OP as it passes by at least once but may never listen to the ED at all. It's also not as "catchy" as the OP and perhaps the more emotional ones don't hook as virally. And while it's not quite the same, I think the actual insert tracks are super underrated as well. Kana's song, the B Komachi songs, they did a great job with all of the music they made for the show.

So to correct: trans men (female-to-male) can take testosterone - which does indeed lower their voice; but it doesn't work the other way around for trans women (male-to-female), because their voice is already low. Therefore, the only way trans women higher their voice is voice training, but estrogen does not do anything. Just want to correct, as there is a lot of misinformation about trans people and our bodies, so hope this helps!

I need the bass and the drums, the guitar is too tame... his falsetto is sharper in the studio version, I prefer his nasal voice, this is too deep. I like how he made some variation just for "the first take", it gave more soul to the song. All considered great performance anyway.
