Thank you for posting this. I found one of these forks for 10 bucks the other day with the shock boots still intact so I picked it up for one of my project bikes. Seems really soft, but I'm sure it'll be good on something.
Just pick up one for $20, still brand new,only rust on the brake's noddle. Kinda surprise once I saw that the spring is actually on the upper side, not like other fork at the bottom inside the tube Well, squik2 likes rubber fighting over each other.. Really nice bike, thoo...still.
Oh and btw nice video! Can you tell me what size “socket ect” ill need for on the end of that long extension? It looks like i have a hex bolt requiring a socket…

I have the same vintage forks. You really didn't rebuild them. You cleaned and serviced them.
