One of the things that I studied in college was U.S. foreign policy, and in particular the formation of the United Nations. I thought about all those JW prophecies concerning the United Nations. The average JW can't even tell you why the United Nations was formed and what it is comprised of. Also, learning about the make up and the functionality of the United Nations made me think that there is no way those JW prophecies are true.
I believe they are still counting everyone that has ever been one even though they’ve left! Many don’t put in a letter saying they are leaving so they are still being counted! 🤪

I was brought up Catholic but lost my faith, I must say I took Bible studies from the JWs and went to the Kingdom hall. Tbh their stance about Jesus and their translation of John left me uncomfortable. The final straw was the lesson on life after death and one of them said it must be nice to live on in Jehovah's memory. That was it how could they go on about Paradise earth when they don't believe in it???? I won't criticise too much because they have instilled in me the desire to get to know Jesus and I know he is the way the truth and the life!!!! Tbh I have accepted Jesus in my life now than I truly did when I was confirmed 🙏

Great video! I wished my ex husband of 25 years saw this video. We recently divorced in August 2024 and he returned to the hall at that time ( he was raised in the religion from a toddler). I was never a witness but he was. He was disfellowshipped when we dated/married. He said he never recovered from being disfellowshipped. I didn’t know he carried this feeling all these years. Apparently he told his moma 25 years ago that he would return. I learned of this along the marriage. So I know he went back because it’s what she wanted and he wants to repair his relationship with her. She made him feel so bad all these years. He suffers from depression and anxiety and I had to help him along the way all these years not knowing it was partly from the religion and the other part was because he is a porn addict of 42 years. He will never stop. Let’s see if the elders catch him cause he is tricky and secretive.
Zoom is much cheaper than Kingdom Halls. But they still need to monetise their rank and file. The business model is being tweaked to the inconvenience of work health and safety laws, human rights protections, csa lawsuits and loosing tax free status and government donations Never mind if that means delaying Armageddon, creating several thousand new legal entities and replacing door to door with mini bookshops. You almost miss the point, my brother. On the surface this video is about armegeddon. However, the real issue here is control! The governing body doesn't want witnesses deciding for themselves when prophesies are being fulfilled. The brother in the video took it upon himself to send out videos to members of the congregation about statements of Peace and Security. This is the REAL ISSUE. Now if the governing body had sent out an annoucement about it then it would have been fine. They don't want witnesses trying to to decifer the scriptures for themselves. They want every witness to reply completely on the GB to explain the scriptures. Independent, spirit led, Christ filled disciples of Christ are the scariest people and are considered enemies to the organization. CONTROL & MANIPULATION IS THE ISSUE. Armegeddon, lost years, lost dreams are all peripheral issue.
Let's say Jehovah witnesses are not the true or religion. It's important than to state which one is the true religion. And why? Because I know what's in the Scriptures and I know what religions practice. Or Don't practices.

I've been out 25 years, but my favorite kingdom melody was "Keep your eyes on the prize"! There were other similar songs and talk after talk about "the end of this wicked system" being sooooo close! Also, I pioneered for 3 years and every ministry meeting emphasized sharing the "good news of the kingdom", and then in the early 90's to change some of the focus to "warn people" that they must convert now because the End is coming. SMH

This overlapping generation is "not excessively long" and, "it has an end". So, there we are, any day now!! You almost miss the point, my brother. On the surface this video is about armegeddon. However, the real issue here is control! The governing body doesn't want witnesses deciding for themselves when prophesies are being fulfilled. The brother in the video took it upon himself to send out videos to members of the congregation about statements of Peace and Security. This is the REAL ISSUE. Now if the governing body had sent out an annoucement about it then it would have been fine. They don't want witnesses trying to to decifer the scriptures for themselves. They want every witness to reply completely on the GB to explain the scriptures. Independent, spirit led, Christ filled disciples of Christ are the scariest people and are considered enemies to the organization. CONTROL & MANIPULATION IS THE ISSUE. Armegeddon, lost years, lost dreams are all peripheral issue.

Let's say Jehovah witnesses are not the true or religion. It's important than to state which one is the true religion. And why? Because I know what's in the Scriptures and I know what religions practice. Or Don't practices.

The JWs in Nigeria recently (later part of 2024) 0:47 had three regional conventions- one at the country's capital Abuja, one in Port Harcourt and one in Akwa-Ibom state.
At Abuja about 500 persons got baptised, at Port Harcourt about 900 got baptised and at Akwa-ibom about 500 got baptised.
The point is Nigeria is in Africa and interested persons are streaming into the JW. organization at every assembly or conventions of the JWs. So your information is misleading. As some are leaving, others are going in.

Just wondering some disciples left and decided not to follow, remember how difficult it would have been in Jesus's day they'd have really have had to pick up there cross and travel miles, been attacked by anyone and everyone in Jesus's name. Don't forget the disciples would have been viewed as dissidents, trying to overthrow rulers. It wasn't a job for the weak, the Holy Spirit gave them courage and wisdom to follow Jesus. The ones who left never had that courage
