- On this episode of Wide Open Throttle, Jessi Lang reports from the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center with an up-close look at a lovingly restored 1937 Type 320 Cabriolet B.
Then we head to the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art to get a close-to-production sneak peek at the 2013 Mercedes-Benz Concept-Style Coupe, the highly anticipated compact sedan that's expected to wear CLA badges.

Here in germany there's a large museum in Sinsheim, where you can see many Mercedes cars from the 30s...And they are all absolutly beautiful !
As a german and only 26 years old, I can of course understand why people always refer to these cars as ' Nazi-Cars ' , but I really loved when Jessi said:' It's not the cars fault '

I've always thought of their cars and the best Sexiest car and very high performance vehicle for a German make o wait I forgot Porshe. Gee I can't decide. On topic, I love the CLS design Styling hell it seems alot of people do. Volkswagon copied it with their A7 and their CC and BMW are too with their 6 series. Not that I'm complaining, it's an amazing looking body style and more choices is always better.
Can't wait to see their production compact.
Benzes aren't overpriced. They spent money in areas other car manufacturers overlook. That's why they're expensive. But then, they're that much more expensive than other premium cars.
lol i know for a fact that a merc would look way better than a hyundai. But I just think that the basic shape of the car like the roof line and a bit of the front end looks like sonata

50k for this car. It was gonna be released for 20k but they figured everybody would have one. If mercedes plan on cornering the market real quick, sell it for 30k..

I have never been a fan of small luxury cars e.g. the 1 series, A3, A-class. But I have to say, the CLA got me at first look. It's beautiful.

I still think that all mercedes should be rear wheel drive. If you are paying that much for a car, how much is fwd really saving you?

looks like megatron..not like hyndai. That's bad because if you take out the huge Merc. badge nobody could say that's a Merc.
Pointless, transformers headlights. 200 hp.. Hyuandai has more power, hell the Civic Si does.. and both will last longer w/o mechanical or major electrical issues

CLS?! SLS? SLK? C-Class? Geländerwagen? B-Class? E-Class was bad at launch, but it looks way better than the F10 now, doesn't it...
Oh well, taste differs, but come on...
The CLS is still the most complete and awesome looking car in the world, although I prefer the old one.
Even if I could afford it, I don't think I would want a front wheel drive Merc.
a-class? ouch. Starting price of low $40k would be my guess. Reasonably well equipped.
It does sort of resemble a Sonata but just 100x better which is proper for Mercedes

Great review. CLA is very good looking. Hope they don't change anything for the production version. As for the CLS, the CLS 63's front bumper is much cleaner and nicer looking than the CLS550's front bumper.
