  • Engage your physics and physiology students in kinesthetic learning with one of Go Direct Force Plate’s several data collection channels: Hang Time.
Using the Go Direct Force Plate with Vernier Graphical Analysis® software, students start data collection and jump as high as they can. Students can then evaluate the time their classmates stay in the air during a jump. This “hang time” can serve as a jumping off point for discussions of one-dimensional motion, the acceleration due to gravity, or physiology principles such as assessing lower body and leg strength.
Designed for much greater forces than the Dual-Range Force or Go Direct Force and Acceleration sensors, the Go Direct Force Plate can measure the forces developed during stepping, jumping, and other human-scale actions.
