Dave really grew on me this series. He’s the guy that keeps everything positive even if you have a bad hole. Never let’s you get down on yourself. This series was fun as heck to watch. Eric your voice overs freaking kill me every time 😂
I was sceptical at the start. But I think he's a standout dude now.
Dave really showed the feeling you can get when a good buddy is having the round of their life and you just want to support them and your own round is secondary.
I think I need the Dave hype train filling my awful game around to fire me up
I think they may have done Dave a little dirty in the first edit lol. I agree though. It’s so hard to stay that positive when you’re not playing as well as you know you can. It’s a really admirable thing for him to be that supportive of Sam and Claire.

Lol. There is definitely a sweet spot where drinking on the course makes you better. Go past that sweet spot and it makes you garbage at golf

I love that Dave can be in front of a camera, plainly not playing his best golf, and be frustrated with his game but stay so incredibly happy for how well his playing partners are doing. I'm happy any time I break 90, and I don't think I could get out of my own head under similar circumstances. Good job, Dave.

Such a great series. If Claire's short game was at her normal level, she shoots 75 from 7200 yards. She basically played 10 par 5's. What a boss.
not really, because she hits it as far as most dudes. LPGA courses are pushing 7000 these days.

The yin-yang dynamic with Dave and Sam is great, and it clearly played a big role in Sam's great play, so props to both gentlemen. Also, the world deserves more people like Claire - what a gem.
Great finish to this Breaking Series. At first I thought Dave was over hyping everything, but at the end of the day, I think he was genuine about his emotions. Looking forward to the next series …at Bandon ….very cool!!
I found myself clapping and cheering at the screen. Amazing series and such great filmmaking.
"Not a fist pump a fist presentation" commentary of the year, massive shout out to Claire and Dave, as a 21 handicap myself there's nothing better on course than positive affirmation from players that are way better than you. Sam, you sir are a legend !
This last part of the round changed my opinion of Dave completely….to still stay so positive not just in his own round but also for others in the group is awesome…that’s something I need to do more of myself!
I need more narration from Mr. Anders Lang whether it be golf, travel, food, or really any enjoyable documentary. The commentary is so spot on that you don't even need to have your own thoughts that distract you from what you're watching. Oh someone just said something awkward, you better believe Erik will address with the same words you had in your head. Someone just hit a great shot that you think you could do too, Erik just asked himself what club that was. Right up there with David Attenborough and Morgan Freeman just someone you can listen to for days.
One thing we can all agree on is that golf is a crazy/beautiful game. Thank you Claire, Dave, and Sam for bringing everything you had to this series!
Ps thanks to the whole RGC crew for another masterpiece. You’re doing amazing things for the game of golf ⛳️

I would watch this grouping every week. Just a perfect balance of characters that make for electric content.
I don't think I've rooted for anything in golf in a while, as much as I rooted for Sam's last putt to drop. (No spoilers!) But love this series, and love the whole crew this season.
Sam, is such a chill guy that shows how much new learnings can sometimes just click and come together in a magic round. Pretty much the ultimate dude to have as your golf buddy for frequent casual rounds in a lifelong quest to be a solid golfer.
Claire - has built such a beautiful and powerful swing that's such a foundation for consistent golf, and has the short game to back it up. Add in that she knows the power of positivity and personal confidence, and she's got the recipe to pencil in some seriously low numbers out there.
And it's hard not to love Dave - who's got such incredible enthusiasm for the game that all he wants to do is help others around him reach new heights. I feel like he's got some decent power and serious course management skills that on the days where he puts it all together, he can definitely score low.
Altogether though - another amazing season for RGC with EAL. Looking forward to the next round already!
we need more Breaking series, and more of these 3 together. Love the chemistry of Fink, Hogle, and the Greasy Caveman. Also can't forget about Blaze.
Dave is always so positive. Just a good dude. And I'm so proud of Sam. He played so well. And Claire's swing is so pure and clean. I love this series. You guys always pull some great people to play and it makes me want to go play.

Great series from such a beautiful course! Extra props to Claire for hammering it from the back tees and beating her goal. Her swing is amazing and looks like it was designed by a computer to achieve maximum efficiency.

Just fantastic content. Dave grew on me immensely over the course of the videos. Beyond stoked for Sam, as that's definitely like watching someone of my caliber have a very stellar round. And what can you say about Claire - a complete golfer and seems like such a genuine and positive person.

Fair play to Sam for not loosing it with Dave, on 13th hole when Sam hits his best drive and Dave takes the credit, on the 18th he stops Sam from putting and shows him the read, Sam ends up 3 putting.Dave over enthusiasm would drive me mad. Love the series and fair play to Claire in taking part, she should be a professional.
I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this. If I play a round with a guy like fave that would be the first and last. The guy is so annoying, stopping Sam from putting in the last hole was unacceptable for me.

@@stephengarner4428 That was my impression as well. You defined it well: "too much for me" as well. The constant ask for attention interrupting and interfeering with the other players would trow me off completley.

This might have been the best Breaking episode I've seen. Well done. I'm going on my first trip to Cabo in a couple of months, and I know at least one course I will be playing - Solmar is beautiful!
I've watched the previous 2 in this series and Breaking Cabo is definitely my favorite. I love how relatable this series is. We all hit bad and good shots. It's about having fun, respecting the course and the other people in your group. My GHIN says I'm a 12.4, but I feel like Sam and I would have a great match. Another solid production RGC. Sharing Breaking Cabo with all of my friends.
This was a really cool series. I like seeing Claire just out there to play golf instead of worrying about the content side of things. Dave might be a psycho, but it was fun to watch! 🙂
Hands down my favorite series of any channel, and I watch a lot of golf channels. Fun, relatable, epic courses, great personalities, great videography and editing, voice over spot on! Bravo.
This breaking series from RGC just gets better and better. It's like reality TV meets golf! Great characters, skills and vibe. Honestly some of the best golf content on RUclips. So much more entertaining than just watching endless so called scratch golfers trying to break something or other!! Keep them coming as I'm hooked 😀🏌️

Best breaking series as far as content. Hard to beat Pinehurst as a venue though. Claire is just all class. The encouragement and participation with all shots good and bad was on point. For those seeing her the first time before she's hit a ball would quickly judge her based on her looks. She really is a great human being.

Best one of these videos yet. Great chemistry between these three. Claire has a really great swing. Fink was hitting absolute bombs and I was cheering for Sam to break 100 like I was watching Rudy for the first time.

I’ve never related to a round of golf on camera the way I did this series. Even players leagues ahead of my game showing the same struggles and having a very similar reaction to the results. Love it

11:04 is what I'm talking bout with Fink. The guy enjoys seeing others succeed as much as himself. I love that shit, playing partners like that make golf so much more enjoyable. Competition is great, but even on tour, when someone hits a crazy shot, you will see the others in the group give the guy props. That's just love of the game.

I disagree. I think Dave saw Sam taking way too much time over the putt, and stepped in so Sam would back off the putt. Sure it’s poor etiquette in general, but in this situation with a score on the line, it made sense
