Massive thanks to Mr.Adrian and Ms.Trang. I've struggled to get my desired score in Speaking, but I'm more confident after listening to the advice from the guests. Another thing that I really like about Ms. Trang's performance is her speaking pace, it shows her confidence, calm, and relaxation. She conveys everything in a very concise way.
Due to my job requirement and personal pursuit, I’ve taken IELTS almost 10 times. My best score was 8.5. I agree with most of her advice, except the part regarding “do not speak to the examiner as a friend”. Cuz I DID speak to the examiner just like I usually do with my friends every time I took the test, and I never got a band score lower than 7.5 in speaking. I would say, it is not that you CANNOT speak as if you’re speaking with a friend, but that you should try to be NATURAL and COHERENT (which is the first marking criterion of IELTS speaking) . So the verbal phrases like “you know”, “well”, “like” can be helpful as long as you have correct and complex vocabs, collocation, and sentence structure. One more thing: regarding the buying-time phrases like “well, this is an interesting question. Let me think for a while” or “Wow, this is really difficult for me. I need some time to think”, such phrases are cliche to the examiners, who obviously have been fed up with these “memorized phrases” taught by YTbers and online channels. So, it would be very risky to use these memorized phrases, which often leads to a decrease in your band score. Instead of wasting time saying these useless sentences, just “shut up” and “think” before you say anything! The examiner can tell whether you’re thinking for ideas or not the moment you start speaking. THEY ARE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU, AND THEY CAN SEE. 🙂
Both of you were exceptional, and outstanding. Congratulations and we are grateful to receive just beneficial lessons. I wish you the best wishes Mr Andrian
I am immensely benefited from this learning video which will be also greatly helpful in other sections of IELTS I believe! My test is at the first week of April and Please pray for me. Endless thanks to Mr. Adrian!
I just practice my spoken English alone on a regular basis, and whenever I do, I am going to make a record and judge myself following four basic criteria: - Intonation - Pronunciation - My lexical resource - Confidence So at this time, I'm just spontaneously speaking about my favorite topics However, when I engage in IELTS Speaking Test, even if it's just a mock test, taking my spoken English seriously will help me know more about where I am. Thanks to your speaking interviews, I've already accumulated experience in IELTS Speaking Test. But how to take my score in advance, it's up to me, mainly. So thank you very much, teacher!

I have my IELTS video call speaking test tomorrow and I wanted to tell you that, I literally prepared each and everything about speaking from you. I hope that I'll get my desire band✨🥰
she said " give me a moment to think" and spent only 2-3s to think, then spoke right away without stuttering T_T I can't do even that when I speak my mothertongue.
Thank you, I have learnt a lot from this video 😊 And Ms. Trang mentioned that she is a content creator. Could you share with me: what is the name of her channel (or her page)? Maybe she also share other helpful tips for IELTS on her channel.
Good job! Please don't touch the card. How can she touch the paper from distant! 😂😂😂. Anyway, this is very useful and helps us to create our straregy for not only IELTS but also in natural life.
Hi by the way I’m new here and quite sometimes viewed your channel. I’m willing to experience this kind of test please give an advice on how? Thank you.
Judging from her pronunciation,it is actually quite solid but her fluency in speaking is more distinctive than speaking vietnamese or any other languages depending on your brain and perspectives if you could grasp hold it out in one go or not. The point of this problem i want to dictate is that her speaking with words like speaking your own language (native language), it is important to reach out that it is normal to speak slowly because she was actually thinking in speaking english sentence like an subconscious person who think about the layers of the sentence, maybe because she was aware of how english is to make out her sentence and pronunciation in addition to idioms and module or many of the english components. Usually there are people who stick with native language and that techincally leads her to speak carefully while those who speak foreign language (a language that is not from their language and used it widely when possible) lash out words with articulation mainly because they have to speak in according the system of "sentence". Mainly the objective I'm filling here is she doesn't actually use english a lot or even try to think like english speaker (my opinion), she definetly has lots of practice and speaking including 3 skills, and she refuses to use english fluently like people who speak faster with a little bit of grammar mistake mostly contributed by her vietnamese origin, this quite lay out a highly possible occurence in which a person usually speak naturally depending on their "preferences" and this quite mark on something more "periodic" of their circumstances or what they normally speak naturally. However this case is not true and there many who are native speakers that speak english as badly as the vietnamese (great people, fantastic citizen though a bit convoluted) who couldn't muster a good sentence in vietnamese. In conclusion you shouldn't say that her english speaking is not that "fluent" but rather you you should have see from other people perspectives who each have different "culture","belief","environment",brains chemical" or even their own "identity", mainly their concept of language. (Note: hardwork is the altruist choice of spreading good words to people in opposition to their language origin).
