- Today we are discussing the foundation of our Indian Challenger audio packages. The Davidson Audio Indian Challenger Fairing Package is our complete package we have put together for our customers to get their aftermarket audio upgrade started. This audio package also showcases our Pre-installed and tuned option to make the install easier for your shop of choice or yourself if you are installed yourself. As always my goal for these videos and our channel is to pass along as much information to you all as possible. That being said, I hope you found this video informative and enjoyed the content. I need some help, all I wanted to do is change out the fairing speakers from factory to Polk db522 but the factory has a 4 pin plug. Now I'm confused

Why not use the Hertz S8 DSP? It's slightly smaller than Rockford's version has a few more features and has a built in programable time delay.
Valid question sir. We stock them and will be using one in one of our shop bikes for sure. The reason it’s not in our base audio packages is because it’s $250 more than the dsr-1. I wanted to use a good dsp that came in at a good price point for our base packages.
What package do you have for bass?
Brandon, Did you upgrade to 6.5's from 5.25 by enlarging the existing space on both front fairing and also rear tour pak on the Chieftain/ Roadmaster?

Curious, is there room to modify the factory lids to fits a 8" in that spot? I prefer the OEM look over aftermarket lids
I’m sure you could, then the lid would look just like my 8” lids we make the Indians. If your talking about mounting the speaker on the inside of the lid then you will cut off majority of the speaker and it would be handing low into your bags.

Some of the components are the same between the two but the mounting and wiring is where they primarily differ.
just curious why not use sound digital amp? they are water proof... just asking.... good set up. what speakers give you good mid loud base. ive heard some cicada's that sounded amazing and good base. but not sure which ones
We use the Soundigital evops amplifiers as we discuss in the video for the small foot print and IP64 rating. The soundigital amplifiers aren’t water proof rather weather resistant. As for speaker choice that offers some mid bass that really depends on the size and location you are looking to install the speaker sir. Comes down to system design

Does a 4 speaker setup require 2 amps? Also how do I find out about pricing for the various packages?
No sir a 4 speaker system can be ran off of one amplifier. We are still working on the website at this time. So feel free to give the shop a call and we can discuss some different options for you

Hello, Silly question, installing these systems, motorcycle warranty is lost?
To my knowledge no. I have many and many of these systems out there on bikes and haven’t had one customer tell me that it voided the warranty
