i remember my classmates at high school were asking the same questions like "whats the point", and everytime this kind of conversation was ignited, i usually said to those who were existentially nihilistic, that "there is no point. you could kill yourself now". funnily enough nobody actually did follow through with the most important problem in philosophy, so i guess the ones that ask, do in fact know "whats the point" and do have hope, theyre just unwilling to be clear with themselves about it
While one is waiting for the end, there are infinite interesting, thoughtful, and even pleasant ways to occupy the mind...such as random youtube posts like this.
