I just don’t get it, this messiah of an developer created an epic app, which is going to be the hall of famer app in the near future. Just at the features, among 6 billions of lazy, unappreciative and morally corrupt people, this guy is the only person who’s going to change the form of art and creativity with his sincere efforts and integrity. Please, please kindly don’t post these kinds kind of totally self-indulgent and unnecessary demands. These really shows how much shallow the human race try is. The point here is that, you didn’t developed this gem of an sampler, this guy did, and kindly have the decency to put trust and respect for him. He is going to make this app much much better with the passing of the time, and will certainly add more unparalleled features that’s what I truly believe, as I have seen him doing this consistently. The things is , these “I want this, I want that, “ really underestimate the integrity and the effort of the developer of the koala app. Let him do his thing and kindly be a little bit appreciative with what he’s been giving to the community. The new keyboard does not show up on my Note 8 device. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it will not open the new keyboard. ??? I also have the Samurai version.
Hello there, I just tried the koala sampler app and thank you man you make me fall in love with music(maybe creation again!). The interface and operation are really intuitive, and i think it's better than any launchpad or pure groove box, etc. I think it's a great tool for me to practice my guitar, too. By the way, why are there always some tools like a wrench and a screwdriver next to your iPad in your video? Did you use them to develop the app?🤨
Hi I purchased koala sampler and in app mixer fX yesterday but when I turn my iPad Pro to landscape mode, there is no piano roll, so is it not included in the latest version?
Nice update! Could you also add an option to set grid keyboard to 4ths tuning? Like a Linnstrument? I’m a guitarist and 4ths tuning makes so much more sense for me when playing chords.
Wow! So now I'd like to hook up a small hardware keyboard to my phone, and have the notes playing out of Koala via midi to a synth. Is this achievable?
Please let us Midi Map the Hold Button, and possibly add a mixer option? I know that sounds odd, but even a general "Sequence Master Volume" and "Samples Master Volume" could make the difference in how a performance could be managed. would want to map those to knobs. Thank you for this amazing app.
Again, same answer - if you use timestretch in retro or beats mode, it will work on the piano roll. If you use timestretch in modern mode, you can’t use piano roll, you can only use piano roll with beats or retro timestretch mode

So I am a noob to sampling, Question- would it be possible to sample a few major keys, eg. A,C, E in order to obtain the whole major scale? I have tried but it sounds like I am not getting an accurate representation.
I just purchased the app about 10 minutes ago on Android, there is no keyboard like the one that you're showing. I paid the full 4.99, but it's no different than from before. I did turn the phone in landscape mode, no piano keys.

probably iOS first Android later, my Pixel 3a got no update either. But it's easy to circumvent by using midi controller keyboard hooked to the phone via USB OTG, works out of the box. Same with MPD, just connect the pads and your DIY MPC ready for action :) got to love Koala
hello good sir! I was mindblown about your app. I had been wishing for a sampler app for years that has the ability to be triggered on a keyboard. I have a korg kross 1 61 (which has no built in sampling becaiuse it is low end) and this app is a dream come true for me so I purchased it last night and tried. But i still have trouble with mapping my samples. Is it possible to, say, put samples side by side? Say my first sample is in C2 then i want the next to be in D2 or maybe C#2? because what happened was my sample went to C3. I need the other regions of the keyboard for my patch combis and i will just want to allocate 2 keys to trigger my 2 samplers.
@elfaudio I bother you with another question: if I set a sample into "hold" and "loop" then I select sequence mode and start playing, Koala record in my sequence the others samples but not that one setted as "hold" and "loop", is there a solution? thanks

I understand, but it’s a huge amount of work checking Facebook, RUclips, instagram, Reddit etc etc for support requests, and I am only one person. The more time I spend on support requests the less time I spend on developing koala (I spend at least one hour every day responding to support requests) If I miss someone’s support request here, they might give me a bad review on the App Store or whatever which is bad for business and in turn bad for koalas development, so I try to redirect everyone to the same place to make it easier for me. When I get the same question more than once, I put the answer on the support pages at www.koalasampler.com/help - so the answers often end up being public

@@allieboy181 if your sample is a C, then the keyboard will play C major if set to major and the PITCH is set to 0. If you want D major, tune the sample to D with the PITCH knob, then the keyboard will be in D major.

Unreal. Awesome. Btw, i had a strange issue. Mapped a midi controller encoder to Pitch. Was working for a bit and then the pitch would move but audio didnt change. When i moved pitch knob by touching ipad screen, the sound finally changed to reflect pitch. Possible bug? Thx!! Best. App. Ever.
I’ve been looking for info on the keyboard too. Because setting it to the major scale or minor means nothing, if you can’t set the key lol. Unless they just haven’t added in all the Keys yet
Great new features but first thing that comes to mind when seeing you switching 3 pages back and worth to do what you want to show. Suggestions -Locking and zooming is nice. But 2 simple buttons for Octave UP/DOWN is essential. In addition to the zoom lock slide functionality. Or it will drive anyone mad. -2 buttons for selecting previous and next sample pad to switch between pads/sounds without switching pages. - full control of the sampler, adsr, fx, while playing the keyboard - easy audio record into a empty pad while playing the keyboard + fx + manual startt point granular party. ) In general you want to Play keyboard. Switch pad/sound. Octave up and down. Change the start point, go granular. change, filter, release. add delay, reverb, FX, hit record. Play/jam. Stop record. Played sequence is recorded as audio on a empty sample pad. Love Kaola but it could be 10 times more intuitive for playing/jamming with all of the above on a single intuitive performance page. I hope you can relate to my suggestions. Thank you!

Hi thanks for reply on RUclips Kola is buggy in Multi instances Auv3 mode 1-in AUM I opened four instance of Kola and sampled some sounds on all four , I saved all four songs but when I reopen my AUM session again the Kola Auv3 not even missing some sound it opened only one song on all four instances 2- I reopen AUM this time all instances loaded another song with missing some sound 3- I tried many times but this time my iPad running low disc data 4 - every time reopenong AUM session my iPad space is going full 5- at last I deleted Kola surprise my iPad got 1.7 gb free space 6- I purchased two days ago And I wasted lot of time please guide and help 7 -if problems does not resolve I would try to refund it

please add a time-stretch option in piano roll (so pitch-shifts dont change sample duration)

Also I don’t understand, how the scales work? There’s no key or notes set. Like if I set it to minor scale, how do I set the key?

Does playing a C on the keyboard automatically make the sample a C?
I’ve been looking for info on the keyboard too. Because setting it to the major scale or minor means nothing, if you can’t set the key lol. Unless they just haven’t added in all the Keys yet
