Was there ever any kind of voice narrative connected to this tutorial? I read a comment on how annoying the music is in this vid, but I gotta tell you: By the time I tuned in, there was NO SOUND WHATSOEVER . Total silence. I see that Mr. Ruckman does a great deal of hand gesticulation while drawing, which would lead one to believe he was speaking at the same time. What happened? It would have been nice if we could hear him speak of the thought processes and logic that goes behind a drawing of this sort.
I really like how you have a very patient voice. You make the sketching process not intimidating to people who are beginners. I am an Industrial Designer and do sketching quite a bit and I find your video quite pleasant and enjoyable to watch. Thank you for the post.
Beccuti Thanks for your comments i am planning to launch series of new classes and taking your comments in consideration ,will definitely take care of the soundtrack .make it more accessible for you guys
HI, EVERYONE, I APOLOGISE FOR SOME SOUND ISSUES ON THIS VIDEO. SOON YOU WILL BE ABLE TO LISTEN TO THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK WITH MY EXPLANATIONS ABOUT THE SKETCHING PROCESS. IN THE MEANTIME PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER VIDEOS. ENJOY AND STAY TUNED!
That entire bottom corner is rounded off at much less of an immediate curve as the other. In perspective, assuming it is the same as the left corner, the line should be a much shallower curve and hug closer to the phone.
Hi Ankita, you can your any pencil, pem or marker. I would suggest you to start with 2B pencil or Big brand ball pen. Check my lessons to learn more about the sketching process and stay tune for news about my full course.

Some feedback: 1. I felt rly anxious watching this cuz u have a bunch of unexplained hand movements like ur measuring smth 2. That's probably cuz u don't have a voiceover, so we can't keep up with ur train of thought, leaving us very confused. 3. Suddenly u stopped using the bakground music which is very incoherent 4. The entire video was cropped and I felt very uncomfortable cuz I cannot see the entire object ur drawing.

Hey Deathstroke, thanks for your comment. I agree with your opinion that one line is showing more confident then many lines. However, this is a training video for people who were just starting their journey. I want to show them and encourage them to try and do not afraid to make mistakes. Do many line as you wish as you feel comfortable with your tools and materilas. Another important point, this is a not part of presentation sketch, this is a process, creative process when you draw and search for better ideas, better shapes etc. this is a durty process that everyone should go through. After that, I will tech you guys how to create a clean and presentative sketch. Stay tune.
Really, once you understand that the world is made of only basic shapes, and not many sharp corners, you are golden!
Thank you so much for sharing. I sketch like this--same book even, not realizing there are kindred spirits out there. Great work!
thanks, mr. ruckman , this was my first time and you were so gentle , i loved every minute of it . (double meaning not intended)

You should never draw several lines in a single line over and over, it shows that your not confident in your drawing.
