Thanks man! Yeah I’ve really been enjoying competing as well. Super fun to plan out a run and see what sticks. You definitely need to know your truck to do well. I enjoy making them so I’ll keep doing it!
Haha yeah that definitely went well considering I could have easily rolled off the whole ledge. The way it just plopped down on all 4 tires I was just like, alright then and kept driving haha
Absolutely loved this you are the best man love the way you explain every thing it realy helps bought my first capra becouse of your videos :) only wish we had rocks like this in the UK
I'd love to get out west & try some of those good rocks lol , I'm in the northern Kentucky southern Ohio are we have slick river rock & limestone it's really hard to get good predictable traction on that stuff
I’ve driven on river rock and that is a real challenge if you can get good at it you will be a great driver on the predictable stuff. It’s about knowing how to pressure each tire to get the traction you need. Really tough
Hey Logan, thanks dude, now I know what NOT to do running a course like this, lol 😆 Seriously though, tough competition, loved the video and your rationale for how you tackled each obstacle. Learn more from your videos than anybody else and love the 1:1 action as well. How about a short video, some highlights from competitions (RC or 1:1) with a killer sound track?
Hey Logan, I have a RTR Gatekeeper on the way. Could you give me a recommendation on what Vanquish SLW hubs I should use? I am new at this but learning a ton from your vids! Thanks
Very good score with all those challenges. I'm attempting to build a simular power wagon on scx10 ll. May I ask how you mount the rear of the cab to chassis? I see the 2 hood body clips are the best, just need to figure out the rear mount.
I used strong magnets that I double side taped to the rear of the cab and those stick to my sliders since they are steel. The bed also sandwiches the cab in and really helps eliminate movement
you guys have easy comps. our is 6 mins for 10 gates and bonus. boundry lines are always live. if hitting them have to reset to the previous gate. also no winching.
@@westdesertwheeler ok. The problem I've ran into is the treads will slide towards the inside making the outside look like the tire is stretched width wise. I started trimming mine which got rid of that extra rubber . Also add some glue since I'm basically cutting the bead off and without glue it can sometimes pull a bead . Thanks
how I was wrong with RC crawlers being some kind of bashers or just trucks to run around, I'm more into RC model Airplanes but this RC crawling is really interesting, It's like playing chess, you have to think your way out.
I think this RUclipsr is really good at explaining. that's why i subscribe to this youtube👍👍👍
Thanks
Absolutely awesome vid! I love the talk and walk throughs, always learn so much about wheel placement etc 😎
That’s what it’s all about in this sport! Thanks for watching
I haven't ever watched anything like this before now I'm addicted and love it!!!!!!
Thanks, I’ve done a few like this. I have a playlist of RC competitions
Awesome vid Logan thanks for sharing 👍
GOOD MORNING LOGON FROM ENGLAND SIR. I LOT WATCH YOU DRIVE COMPS. I LEARN LOADS THANKYOU SIR. GREAT DRIVING 🇬🇧🇺🇸🕊️✌️👍
Thanks as always Mike 🤘🏼
I love your video style Logan. The commentary is 👌.
Interesting how many people in RC Crawling have or still do full scale crawling. I like your commentary format, thanks.
I love it again appreciate you sharing, this is the beauty of the Hobby yeah

Super cool dude, this is what I love to do my passion, appreciate your sharing as always
If nothing else in the Shootout, that hook turn on the rear chassis was sweet. Almost looked like that was your plan to start with.
Haha yeah that definitely went well considering I could have easily rolled off the whole ledge. The way it just plopped down on all 4 tires I was just like, alright then and kept driving haha
Great Comp.

Thank you I really appreciate that! The Capra is a really fun car I hope you enjoy it like I do
outstanding, great job driving, very cool , i love this stuff!!! smash that like people!!!!
At 6:05, now that was a neat trick
Good run! The pressure of a comp ups the difficulty. I can pull sick lines all day. Put me in a comp, or turn a camera on, I'm done lol!
Awesome video, congrats
Thanks!
How have u not got more subs! Always wicked videos
These walkthroughs are great!
Thanks!

@West Desert Wheeler 🕶You must be referring to the family as a whole.....right ?

Overall a decent result man. I'd love to do one of these comps with my Flatgekko.
Oh yeah I’m sure that thing would be competitive!

Hey bro, your videos are cool as hell. Quick question, do you cut the foams to stretch the tires onto the 2.2's?
Thanks man. I do not cut foams. I just squeeze the 2.2 ring in them and stretch the bead into the wheel. Works great!

@@westdesertwheeler Thank you. The 2 sided tape won't peel the paint off the inside of the cab?
Well done anyway 👏
So what's up nice rig

Hey Logan with your 1.9 tires, do u stretch them or trim them? If u stretch, do u see an issue with over flex with the sidewalls?
I stretch them. The sidewalls look a little weird but I run dual stage foams so that helps hold them together.

What is your suspension setup
What state is this?
😁😁👍👍
flat irons wouldn’t fly for class 2 around here. rules say 4.75 max.
this is true. cant figure for the life of me why Proline made those .01" over the C2 limit.
Yep you’re right. But there are multiple reasons why this truck isn’t actually class 2. The locals don’t mind. My tires are so damn close it’s fine
👍🙏🙏💪🙏
First let’s go
that was brilliant, great truck,do you have room for me to subscribe? 😀👍👍👍
