Hello, make sure sure your battery is charged! Also, one of GND connection goes to battery. Make sure the GND connections of module-Uno-battery are correct!
Yes it will be a problem, Overloading a motor than the rated voltage will damage the motor. 3-6 is rated for your motor so dont go over 6. I would say run at 3-5.5 for long last performance
Normal DC motor can't do that if you want a motor to change its shaft position(angle) please use Stepper motor or Servo motor, they would suffice your purpose.
