Once I found it I was hooked! It adds a variety of texture & color without the hassle of other more high maintenance plants. I have to be careful because it is a little pricey. Part of what makes this hobby so addicting is the variety of it all. There is a plant for all levels of experience, preference, and means. Thanks for showcasing such a beauty!!
I now proudly own Buce specifically because you convinced me to in St. Louis back in April! Thank you for the encouragement, great addition to my tanks! Hope you’re doing well!
Love buce!! I fell in love with them rather quickly and started getting some. They've done very well and I've been able to propagate. Even more exciting is the fact that I have three buce plants that flower on a regular basis! I even have an Anubias Barteri that has flowered!
I've gotten a 3 gallon, three 10's and a 20 gallon since I've started watching your channel, now you got me started on buce, too, lol! I got one of the tissue culture gel 4packs from the BBS and got Sekadau giant blue, and Sekadau Bukit Betung. Thank you for sharing your love of them, it's contagious!
I’ve been thinking of trying a new plant to spiff up my 20g. I have a gift card for Aquatics Unlimited. If I see buce, I think I’ll add it to the shopping list! :) Thx for the inspiration! 😊 Have a great day! ☀️ 🌸 🌱 🐟
I agree:) I bought one small one at the swap that is attached to small piece of driftwood. It has been months now and it is still doing well and growing. I just know which one is is without pulling up pictures..sorry😅
Hi. Always like your advice..want to go back to your $$ saving tips video. Or my plastic razor blades with the scrapper attachment thing. Works great. Thanks
@@thesmallscape Haha - but which cube?? 😂🤔 Or should I just cave and buy buce for all?,? Hee hee dangerous video ;) Have a beautiful and blessed weekend, Joanna!
Hi Joanna. Thankyou for introducing Buce.Buce looks great in you nano tanks. I do have a question. Are there any white or very light colored plants that I could put in my 90 gallon discus tank?. Presently my tank has 2 beautiful Zebra Rocks, white sand & is lightly planted with anubias & another kind (not sure of the name). Sincerely,Marty Borst 🌱🌿🐠
Absolutely I will. 😃 I’m literally chomping at the bit to scape but with the breakdown of the fishroom and impending remodel of the studio, there’s nowhere to set one up. Soon… ☺️
My tissue culture buce was ok for a couple weeks and suddenly the newer leaves are losing colour, have large white spots and look terrible. The only thing I changed was adding driftwood so now the water is amber tinted. The Anubias in the tank still look great and are growing well. 🥲
i thought i had killed all my buce and was setting up a new tank and trimming some stems to put in it and stumbled across a hidden patch of buce about twice the size of the pot i bought originally
I have buce, but it's hard to find here in Belgium. I don't even know what type it is. I would like to see a video of all the types of bucephelandro. I saw you know lots of differents buce.
I’m shocked that you uploaded a video about this because I was JUST looking at some adorable tiny buce in a baggy at the LFS today and wondering if it was worth the buy…!! I’m going back tmr and hope they are still there lol!! @.@
Great video. I saw a plant in one of the tanks that looks really nice. I was wondering if it was a buce or not, and if you could tell me the name of it. It showed from 6:55-7:03, on the far right in the front corner of the tank. It was a bright light green, and kind of resembled a starburst. Very cute. Would look great in my 5.5 gallon. Thanks for your time. 🍄🙃🌷
I heard that they'd refuse to grow without a strong filter, pro-grade lights, and co2 at the same time. I even see things like this on places like buceplant. How true is it that they'll complain about a low tech tank? I only keep walstad tanks personally, could they survive in one of those?
Love it but it's so slow to grow lol.. Just like Anubias, love them now that I know how to grow them but.. So slow! But surprisingly, my Anubias seem to sprout new leaves every 1 or 2 weeks
Using Latin or scientific names bu means to expand ce means water or ke like flowing or moving. So it’s more like bouquet or buke it drives me into a upset state when you keep using bad English. Even in German it’s buche like buke.

Honestly this channel I love it very, very informative,, perfect for everyone

🤭oh my goodness! Really? I’m so happy to hear your enjoying the little buggers!
I love it to fill in darker crevices with unintrusive, dark green color.
Oh, I was also so afraid to try it!
I just bought one plant quite recently. And it grows like a weed and is absolutely beautiful.

Lol, I'm still trying to catch up with my crypt collection! The wavy green is adorable, it looks like an electric shock!!

Good morning! Love buce, I need more ❤💕
The biggest issue with buce is the more you have, the more you want... PS: kedagang is also my favourite but Achilles isn't far behind
True!!
I do love Buce!!!
Thanks for introducing new plants for me ❤
🌱☺️🌱
I need to try some Buce! ❤ thanks for sharing the info!
Hi Noel! Hope you are doing well - happy almost weekend!! Oh yes, I think it would look amazing in your cube! 🌱😏💚

Hi Joanna! I like this kind of video but my favorite videos ever are tank builds - will you please do some more of those?
Absolutely I will. 😃 I’m literally chomping at the bit to scape but with the breakdown of the fishroom and impending remodel of the studio, there’s nowhere to set one up. Soon… ☺️
I love Buce. However, one impediment people may have is the typical price point kind of high.
Yup, so true. So happy to be finding local people selling at swaps!
@@thesmallscape Exactly!

Is it ok with higher temperatures in discus tanks?
Never tried Buce but that looks really good!
They are super fun little water goodies!

Buces to me seems even more hardier than anubias. And the silver spots on the leaves is very beautiful.
Yes, the iridescence is so cool! ☺️
Never knew of Buce thanks I'm gonna buy some 😊
Good luck! ☺️

I have kept 'sp. Red' and "Kedagang'. I need more Buce.
Aren’t they bee-utiful?! 💚🙌💙

I went back and got the little brownie buce! I’m gonna plant them into a wabi kusa style dome! :D
🙌🌱🏃🏻♀️ run!!! Lol - hope you are able to abscond with them and enjoy!
Hello! I just dipped my toe into the world of Buce....😬 My wallet is gonna feel a little lighter! LOL
Buce is my favorite plant!! Every kind of Buce is just amazing!
Aquarium plants factory always has buy 2 get 1 free on Buce 😉
@@BigShrimpin416 Thank you! I will check their site out 😁
I do enjoy Buce. It's just so expensive. I can't remember what kind of Buce I have. LOL.
Yup. I can’t remember most of mine either ☺️
Northbrook? In which state?

I got my first buce plants, green wavy and blue chili, earlier this year and I’m still trying to decide if I like them.
Sometimes they just need to be tucked into the right area of a scape so they don’t look quite so…out of place. IMO. ☺️
Buce does well in my shrimp tank, but in my other tanks, bba takes over each time.
8 tanks and somehow I don’t own any Buce 🤔 definitely got to get some of that! All of my tanks a very heavily planted with co2
Sounds lovely!
I heard it was pronounced bookay🤷🏽 either way love them 🐟🪷🥰
That’s even more fun!
3:11 what?😆
I like but mine melted....it's coming back finally.
So its sold by dealers in little bags.......
OK then, we are talking about aquatic plants - right ??
/s 😁
Please add Turkish subtitles to your videos.
A bæuce => abuse 😢. I tried a buce, my keyboard suggests it should be a bucket 😮
