I do agree weidman knew what he was doing along with the JJ/DC & other fighters that eye poke on purpose to get an advantage. It's a shame cheaters don't get penalized.
he also had a sketchy reaction to the anderson leg break. his mindset was like “hey it was a legit win on my end” and he didn’t feel that bad ab it. chris is a cheater. how do you UNINTENTIONALLY poke a guy in both eyes back to back. and he did it before that combo too. this needs to be turned to a DQ or else imma watch ONE FC forever

Chris Weidman cheated for the entire fight with his fingers outstretched like pitch forks in Silva's face..If you watch the fight back, Silva got eye poked on 6 different occasions and took 3 punches to the back of the head..That was no win, no matter what anyone says..Every time Silva stepped in to throw a punch, he had to dodge Weidman's finger to the eye defense..It's cheating for the entire fight..Chris was winning, but that doesn't take account of the damage done by the eye pokes, or the never ending out stretched finger defense..Jon Jones used to use that defense, which is where the rule came from, take points immediately, eye pokes will disappear forever..
Yeah the Chris was winning the fight argument is nonsense it’s hard to close the distance when the others guy is stretching out his lead hand with the fingers out makes you hesitate

Problem with the "he was winning the 1st two rounds" argument is that he eye poked TWICE in the same way during them. Should have been a pt deduction for the 2nd one, which greatly changes the dynamics of the 3rd round.
And he had 6 eye pokes (and 3 clear as day back of the head shots in round 1). So really he should’ve had the same treatment that guy who bit the other guy a week ago. He should’ve been forced to forfeit his purse to Bruno Silva with how dirty he was in that fight.
Weidmans fingers were out from his lead hand from the very first minute of the fight, right until the double eyepoke at the end. Shame on the ref for not noticing, not warning, and ultimately not deducting any points.
@topthesteppa2989 The ref only warned after the first poke. He's supposed to warn fighters that stick their fingers out gaging distance, aka fishing for pokes before they happen.
It doesn’t matter if weidman intentionally eye poked Silva or not. He was warned in the locker room before the fight, he was warned again during the fight multiple times, and then it was identified via video replay that he clearly did it again, not only with one hand, but two hands before Silva dropped to the floor. I love weidman and I am certain that he didn’t intentionally eye poke him again, but he also never did anything to stop putting his hand out in a position that he was told several times not to do…and that’s just careless on his part. And it’s not all weidmans fault, it’s also the referee’s fault for not taking a point and addressing weidman’s inability to fight responsibly. If someone knees a grounded opponent 3 times, or eye pokes 3 times, or grabs the fence 3 times, etc. etc, it doesn’t matter if it was intentional or not, points need to be deducted. You should never be considered a winner after fighting in such an irresponsible manner, and much less take credit for winning. Weidman is (was) a great fighter, but he is losing fans by taking credit and celebrating that win, especially after watching the replay. How can you not blame chris? Every fighter has the same gloves and most fighters don't eyepoke their opponent once let alone 4 times in one fight and DOUBLE eyepoke them in one combination. The gloves do curve a little so he's actually not even telling the truth. Look up that video of gilbert burns trying the new ufc 30 gloves (which have been and gone now so they're probably still using the same tech).
Wierdman felt his fingers in his eyes and the amount of times proves he was meaning to do it Chris always gasses in the 3rd and gets kod he should be fined and the result overturned
Nobody cares about these two fighting for them to run it back.. give chris another fresh opponent.. bruno back to the apex.
It’s Baba O’Riley
Why did the UFC not pull this BS win from Weidman? Double eye poke finish . why wouldn't every MMA fighter do the same...for a cheap win ?
Easy win for Kyle Nelson
Run it back ! !! lol
Nope It should be overturned to be DQ win for Silva , And that ***** eye poker should be sacked from the UFC. Why would anyone want that ***** in the octagon again aside from his shameless few supporters who were cheering for him after that disgraceful win.
Chris is juicing too how does he look in better shape than when he was in his prime real dirty fighter
That was disgusting.
No
This is why i stopped watching Ariel. SOOOO biased its like the CNN/FOX of mma yters. Do yourself a favor...if you are a hardcore watch the smaller mma channels, they actually have integrity
Chris Is With A Boxer Regis They Talked To Me. John Barnette Johnny Gallindo Only 2 Guys Scare Me On Live Cam. Ariel Get Out Boxing. Stop Putting Fake News Boxing.
CHRIST IS KING
Amen
Wow would like to see ariels energy when jon is in front of him or via zoom even lmao. What a weasle
Dang everyone hates ariel these views & comments
Oh com on, Roadhouse is absolute garbage, Conor simply cant act and Jakes acting was appalling by his standards in this movie, and as for the story... LOL
Jake's acting was pretty dry and really was nothing special especially considering HE is supposed to be the "veteran actor" when compared to conor. But conor's role was pretty fun in the movie, like come on, give it a break. I think most MMA fans enjoyed his acting in the movie and I'd say he did a good job
There isnt even a close 2nd in MMA media! You guys are the best
The new bald look is much better on your guy ariel. But he's gotta shave the beard down. Way to stragglie looking. Not every bald guy needs a long beard.
Roadhouse is overrated
Ariel is #1 Tom Aspinall meat rider lol
Stop these wwe actors comin in studio. Nobody cares
Chris is peak filth

Silva wanted out, regardless of eye pokes, and Chris was winning that fight.
