For the oil filter, what an older trucker taught me is make a hole with a nail in the bottom so that the oil leaks out. That way it will be a clean change. Thanks for the video btw really helped me
I bought a 1998 Series 60 12.7 liters fitted in a International 9400 . Is it a good investment. I am just worried about the rust inside the motor. Looks ok from outside.Has around Seven hundred thousand miles on it.
No torque wrench on the new bolts. No thread tracer for the holes. No thread keeper on the bolts. No torque pattern on the install. Shew. Let me know how that works out
😂None of those you mentioned are even somewhat necessary for an oil pan besides maybe the torque pattern, that is if you don’t have a good feel on turning wrenches lol your prob one of those guys that puts antiseize on your lug nuts or spark plugs😂
@@Floridamuscle you get use to it...just have to learn shifting with out a clutch...is called floating gears.you only need clutch to put it in 1st....after that no clutch....Google it
@@Floridamuscle the clutch has two positions...all the way down is a clutch brake, that's what you need when you first put it in gear, after that you don't need to press all the way down....better yet...drive with no clutch...
Baldwin filters aren't bad bro. They are high flow filters. Not changing your oil under 15k miles is the problem. Dudes putting 25k on oil changes is insane.

Yeah I had to learn that the hard way, this was my first oil change on a semi and I pretty much spilled 10 gallons of oil all over the concrete lol
Good video. What song is that??
love the 60 series

😂 been working out great so far, it’s just a oil pan man not head gaskets or anything holding pressure

Stop using those Baldwin oil filters and that cheap oil are you're going to have problems before you get that 1.2 mill
