Any difference in sound quality on the wired one with the adapter for Xbox controllers? I use an adapter on my Xbox one, also helps solve the “game/party chat” volume you’ve spoken on.
The game/party chat issue isn’t an issue because you can just change it in the audio menu
Good day. I heard that $ 60 headphones have problems with excessive bass and poor sound calibration, you know something about that? I recently bought wired headphones almost 50% off, but I'm starting to worry if it's a good buy. I'm waiting for the console and I'm worried about the headphones I use on Android and Win7, but hopefully they'll perform better on the console.
All you need is the headset adapter for the controller. Then you can control the game chat audio. Most of us have one of those already. I use a turtle beach adapter and it works perfectly. The sound is amazing for a $60 headset.
I have the Astro A50's and these wired headphones are on par if not better. I use Dolby Atmos for headphones and the sound quality is Amazing on these.
If you want to be picky you'll always find something to complain about. I can't stand battery powered headsets anymore so these are perfect in every way for me. Nothing worse than sitting down for long gaming session with a dead headset..

I have the wireless ones and love them. Got my son the wired because he never charges his. The sound profile is completely different, does not do Microsoft spatial audio, and does not support the Dolby Atmos Codec either. The wired is just a stereo headset. The atoms is wheres its at. It adds big sound and more EQ adjustment. Just some info that's not in this video.

I don’t really like the chat mixer, its not very easy to dial in and it moves with taking it on and off. I have the wireless headset, but I cracked the arm a little bit so it could give out at any time. The battery life on it isn’t that impressive either considering I get 40 hours out of similar sized over the ear headphones lol. Does the wired one support dolby atmos as well?

The wired is an awesome deal. It’s often on sale. The wireless microphone is terrible, plus the need for charging is a turn off. Eventually, the battery will die.
lol my cousin is offering me 50 for my janky old headset, rn it’s on sale for 46, I’m shooting straight for it!
Wired is selling for around $40 to $45 so really a good deal.
Hey man, the wired stereo headset - I know you can plug it into the dualsense and use it on ps5, but does the mic work? I'm asking because if you plug the Pulse 3D wireless headset into the Xbox controller via 3mm jack: The audio works but the mic doesn't.

I use my pulse 3D to play on Xbox and the mic works, the only problem is that the microphone is very close to the headset and sometimes your game will sound in the chat, this is because on xbox the Pulse 3D do not activate the other microphones noise cancellation
@@hecdgz98 oh the mic works? I was told the pulse mic didn't work on Xbox which is why I was hesitant, since I have both consoles but really liked the pulse 3d headset

Just got a new head set! And the mic won't work, i can hear players but i cant talk to the... Iv done everything in the settings in the game and on my Xbox. I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled!

If you only use the 3.5 mm to the controller you are only getting 2 channel stereo. Isn't that the main difference between wired and wireless when it comes to the audio?
Stereo = 2 channel audio. The headphones are both exactly the same in that regard, other than being able to mix the EQ in the app I think they are exactly the same drivers.
Hey brother, just a quick question so I got the wired Xbox X headset and it’s not it’s working but it’s so low like even when I put the volume at the right side and I put it up I can hear a sound but it’s so low so I don’t know what to do. Give me advice brother.

For anyone who has damaged the wire for the Xbox wired headset. Just goto target and say that you bought the headphones yesterday and it came with a damaged wire. They will replace it without a receipt. 😂😃
It was a great video, congratulations. You answered all my questions. It's a pity that either option has their own issues, but I think I'd rather getting the wireless one, since I'm more concerned about hearing the game. But yeah, the mic from the wired one is much better.
I find it incredible that so many headphone reviews hardly talk about the sound quality… you know, the most important thing for headphones? But, luckily you mentioned the most important thing - the sound quality is barely better in the wireless ones. And the sound on the wired ones is appalling, unfortunately I own them 😂
Man I just bought the wired one and going tomorrow to return it. I had a turtle beach stealth 700. Granted it’s way more expensive. But the sound is way better and it’s so hard to switch out of that.
The turtle beach I got keeps disconnecting. But it is years old
pretty much the same as me, altho I used to have turtlebeaches and then after those I bought a random brand I’ve never heard of before (rig) and those were hands down the best I’ve owned, even tho they were about half the price. Also turtlebeaches are made of really cheap plastic and imo they weren’t comfortable.

Yes, make sure to set the audio in settings to HDMI + headset; mute your TV, that way your capture card pics up the audio along with your headset

Comprei este fone, com uso exclusivo no pc. Conecta atraves do receptor do controle xbox. A dúvida é a seguinte: nas configurações de hardware, está limitado a 16 bits, 48000 (qualidade DVD). No Rtings, diz que foi testado a 24 bits 48000 (qualidade estúdio). Porém, usarsm pc e xbox. Alguém sabe algo a respeito? É possível mudar a taxa de amostragem no Windows? Até o momento, nao consegui, mesmo atualizando tudo que é drive.

I really dont understand the criticism regarding the volume controls. I mean is it really so bad pressing the guide button and turning chat volume down there? That 2 extra button presses saved is not worth paying 80 bucks more lul.

They should have made the mic quality much better. Console playing is much about multiplayer gaming so the mic is important and they know that.
In general there should be an application on the Xbox to test the microphone, similar to Skype.
