I'm from Wyoming, and I lost my SydKid in 2010. I knew when it was going to be his time, and my wonderful vet came to my home to help my little guy into the next world. It was so peaceful to have him home, the vet office always frightened him, and to be with him when he crossed over that bridge to wait for me. Peace my friend, love your channel.
He was such a good boy! He will forever be missed

What a beautiful way to send Dozer off. My dad put his 1st Palomino he had down as well. That horse lived over 30yrs. All 3 girls got to ride his 5 gaited Palomino he trained....Priceless!! A sink bath, we call em a bird bath😊

i have a pug called archie , hes been my best buddy for the last 5 years . he has took me out of dark times and even threw those times was always able to make me smile. i dont knnow what i will do when he passes , my heart will be broken . Matt, first of all, congrats to your sister and much respect for her achievement. In college, I was not the best student, barely graduating at all. I also wanted to say that I don't think I could ever respect someone who didn't shed a tear at the passing of a pet like Dozer. I'm 62, a Vietnam era vet, and I spent 14 years as an EMT driving ambulances in NYC and dealing with some pretty gruesome and horrific injuries & fatalities, but every pet I ever laid to rest had my tears on their fur. I'm more of a cat person than a dog person, though I've shared my life with both. They're all part of the family though, much loved and much missed when they pass. Why on earth wouldn't we shed tears for that passing? I admire you for being a man and admitting that. Keep on doing what you do, I look forward to, maybe, one day seeing the video of one of your kids taking that same walk across that same stage.
I have the first dog that my husband and I got together right before we had our first child. Don’t know what is going to happen but she is still with us right now. So sorry for your loss. No more pain for him. He is happy and knows he is loved.

My son started vet school in New Zealand this year, following in his mothers (a specialist vet surgeon) footsteps. She put down our family pet last year, so can relate to both significant parts of this episode.
