The older I get, the less interested I am in getting involved with the crowd. I treasure more and more my silence. And try to remember that I am not alone, that Jesus is by my side.

    • @oliverclark5604
      @oliverclark5604 Месяц назад

Jesus in his gift roles in uncertainty of his belief keeps their inseparability and qualitative equality with roles of the crowd as inseparably and qualitatively equally his identity need with individual identities in the crowd.
This requires his and our not quietly withstanding extreme tensions caused by grooming vulnerable 'quiet' family members with inverting roles and identity for occult as hidden, incest connected as substitute mate, economic advantage of their families by tax exemption embezzlements and lower insurance cost by fraud causing the "worldwide catastrophe" (Pope Francis, 10 June 2021) of sexual abuse within families and the invalidity of the great majority of marriages.
This is covered up or occulted by the groomed by diseased identities of 'familyist' family members of psychologically and or emotionally vulnerable (quiet) family members with a false inducement of "higher vocation" (Pope St John Paul 2's Council for the Family "Guidelines", TTMHS, PCF, 1995, 35; cf. St Paul's "opinion" at 1Cor7:25-34) of consecrated celibate marriage vowed to man in Christ to consecrated male female marriage vowed to God.

1:00 We have this temptation to live our life on display.
3:33 The Holy Family would not live there life on display but instead live like 1 Thessalonians 4:11
5:00 Difference between bearing witness to the love of God versus living life on display
5:45 To what degree am I seeking to be known by strangers?
7:45 Sometimes we live life on display because we want to hide.
9:35 Need to serve the many but know and be known by the few.
11:43 Who are the people that God has entrusted to you that He is asking you to love and take care of?
12:45 We are called to live a quiet life because it is there that we begin to learn what it is to imitate The Holy Family

Thank you. Social media has amplified the narcissism in our larger culture and encourages us to worship false gods, ourselves. Research shows a positive relationship between social media use and anxiety/depression. Like any tool, how we use it is what matters. Those who grow close to God don’t need to constantly chase the fickle external validation of a shallow world. The only thing that can ultimately satisfy the empty cravings and dissatisfaction of this fleeting existence is the perfect love of God.

  • @monicareyna85

If we buy into this lie that we can live our life on display and find fulfillment in that then we are only fooling ourselves because we know our lives are not our own, they belong to the God who created us. Who are the people that God has placed in your life that He is asking us to love? ❤️if these are the ones that God entrusted to us, let us be mindful to reach out to them and not make it known to others striving always to make it our ambition to live a quiet life like the Holy Family whose feast we celebrate today. JMJ, I love you, save souls. 💜🫶

One of the best books I’ve ever read was; “The power of silence” by Robert cardinal Sarah.
The holy family lived a life of silence for most of their human life. Jesus himself was really not known until he started his ministry at age 30.
They spent most of their time living simple lives, in constant prayer and contemplation.
That’s where God makes his true presence known. Deep in our hearts and souls. Through silence and prayer! Not in this noisy world, full of distractions, via social media, radio, television sets.

1:02 Everything that comes to us, based on our response to it, can be for our growth.
2:28 When I find something I don't want to do, simply saying yes helps me engage.
3:11 Mary is the disciple, the example of what it means to follow after Jesus.
4:50 Book of Revelation Chapter 10 Theory
7:20 Imagine the freedom and the power of being able to simply utter that one word Yes.
    8:50 Caryll Houselander,
God will never ask you to do anything more than He asked of Mary, and all He ever asked of her was that she say Yes.
10:35 Without this one word we cannot be disciples of Jesus.

Pope Francis's consecrated celibate marriage vowed to man in Christ took it as its business on 17 June 2021 in exercising its absolute power of simultaneous authorisations in the case of ten of his Vatican state helpers of the family, including Cardinal Angelo Becciu's, embezzlements of his procreation role gift charity donations and simultaneously the case of the Italian Parliament unacceptable risk of fraud on his identity in need of union.

How did you achieve such a high monthly income? I'm a single parent struggling financially and can't afford a home, but I still have strong faith in God.

Thank you Father for this homily.
To the financial scammers below who are trying to con people with their fake incomes - can you please just buzz off? Faith is worth far more than money.

I love this, thank you Fr. We should use our faith to cultivate an internal system of validation based on the love of God, rather than an external sense of validation by strangers. In this day and age privacy is power. In one sense, keeping our affairs private from corporations and data-collectors may give us a sense of control and power. But in a truer sense, as you have highlighted here, by keeping focused on the private sphere of our lives and not losing energy trying to be constantly in the public eye, we maintain and develop our own deeper power given to us by God

Dear Fr Mike- this message is so critical, so important and a blessing - esp that you also experienced/tempted by this trend thru Instagram. Please address so many young people -living media-run lives....through their watching the lives of those people who put themselves on display....so many are quietly 'living' the life of watching others on the media, and not living, not seeing what is around them, not caring about the lives/efforts made by others around them, feeling helpless and hopeless because they find no meaning in "doing", "living", being in charge of their health, being in charge of their future, years passing, not realizing their hopelessness in this practice/addiction of watching others on display. They stopped! God Bless
