Hey Noosh! I definitely recommend checking his live show in lowlands, I'm not dutch but I started checking out all of his content and I'm literally obsessed. Not sure whether its going to be right up your steeet since it's slightly different, but I find it such a wonderful concert to vibe with and it gives an amazing energy boost especially from fryslan bop onwards. My emotions all throughout were going like a roller coaster, I danced like there was no tomorrow and I cried, as well. Im definitely planning to go abroad on one of his concerts in the future, he's such a performer! Great content as always from your side 👋
People saying that he doesn't sing: you're right. For the most part, he's improvising and trying things for the Eurovision stage. This performance is just 10% of what he will do in Malmö. In Amsterdam, he was just rehearsing a bit and mostly having a lot of fun.

The bookmakers always do a decent job at predicting the winners. But quite bold statement to speak to them in such direct way. Normally you perform and make a presence which in turn will result in bookmakers paying attention. He just throws all unwritten rules out of the window. He might, just might hype it in the perfect way. A couple of weeks ago Joost was 5th, and now he's 3rd and closing in on 2nd place...
I think he got more confident and fun in Stockholm the next day. You love the remix version he performed. And you obviously have to react to Friesenjung

He can't match studio version at all. Could do much worse than expected. All depends how Eurovision rules apply to live performance and what the stage performance looks like.
There are very few songs that I genuinely dislike in this Eurovision. I think this is overall the best Eurovision ever. Maybe it doesn't have the potential to surpass some amazing hits we had previously, but in general vast majority of songs are good to great. This is the only song that really irritates me out of all "favorites". I really don't see the appeal of this song, it is very unoriginal, and sorry, but Joost to me doesn't seem genuine and likeable. Compared to people with similar high energy on stage for example Croatia and Finland, there are galaxies between them in terms of charisma - Joost doesn't have any. Clearly, there are people who disagree and that's fine. I don't quite like Switzerland and Greece out of the top 10 favorites (currently in odds), but I can see the appeal in those songs, compared to the Netherlands. Would love to see Norway winning. A true masterpiece IMO.
It hurts me reading this because for me it's exactly the opposite, I just can't explain how many feelings his song provokes on me, to me he made such an energetic, original and funny (sad at the end) performance and I really like his personality.
