This episode discusses our values on the latest knitting video of brother Mufti Menk, who has now posted a video of him skydiving Alhumdulillah. This is what we’d like to see more of! We do not aim to start any feuds with Mufti Menk and acknowledge and admire all he’s done for the Ummah and non-muslims. That being said, society is at war with masculinity today, and anything we do (including posting videos on instagram) that doesn’t bring us forward will hold us back. WATCH OUR PAST EP#3 FOR MORE DETAILS. This is not the time to appear like the disbelievers in any way shape or form, or to indulge in more feminine or gender-neutral activities. Allah comes first, then our duty to fulfill the obligations of being the best men and women we can be in sha Allah. May Allah bless you all. The first episode with Daniel Haqiqatjou will upload this Friday, the abuse video will upload on Monday). Much love T3M Family. - Faiyad
To our brother annghel, in Islam, there’s nothing wrong for men/women who have many skills. As a a friend of mine is a fisherman, he knitted his own net to fish...he is so hunk, and respected husband. For Mufti Menk showing his skill in knit, it just out of love to spend time with his daughters etc. None of it reduces his masculinity 🤦♂️. He in fact bring his son do horse riding and archery...i know you are a new revert and all of a sudden hearing this kind of “issue” among “muslims”...i hope u istiqomah Edit: besides, u can watch Chechen fighter who also dance to their traditional culture like Zubaira, Khamzat..even Ramzan Kadyrov(Chechnya president) also dance to his traditional culture and he is also the military leader! He is the strongest opponent of the lgbtq movement and warn it to his people.
Assalamu aleikum, great video brothers, but let brother Anghel first learn and experience Islam for a time before involving him in these topics. It can confuse and harden the heart
Learnt knitting from my grandma and did it for years grew up on a farm throwing hay bails and shooting guns. I am as rough as rough gets been in plenty of street fights AND MUCH MUCH MORE without getting into detail. ?? GUESS WHAT?? None of that matters if you are giving advice while displaying bad adab (manners) , knowledge starts with adab and bad adab is displeasing to our creator. Humble yourself or you will be humbled. Many people ( non muslims) call our Thobes dresses .. fighting and bravado is fighting and bravado it doesn't make you a man ~~No ...willingness to sacrifice makes you a man.~~ Faking manhood is not enough and that's the other issue, we want to fake being men instead of being men. All points are great but I wish we maintained prophetic adab all the way through. As muslim akhis We should be safe from one another's TONGUES and HANDS.
My grandfather was a master in knitting, and well known in his hometown of his ability to make truly beautiful carpets and clothing, knitting and sewing by hand and old equipment. He was also a painter and made astonishing islamic calligraphy... and had four wifes... I think we need to be careful in defining what is masculine and what is not, our Quran and Sunnah is the guideline, and Allah has created us different, some people are artists, some mathematicians, etc. We learn from one another. There is no feminine occupation, do the laundry, washing the dishes, changing diapers etc,. I do all that and help my wife whenever I can. The limit goes when a man is trying to imitate girls/women in manners, clothing, speech, etc,. Then we have a problem.
@@blankblank5397 while I agree that there is a war against masculinity we still have to be careful here not to become vulgar and disrespectful and arrogant, don't become go to the masculine extreme in response to a feminine extreme, Islam teaches us the balanced lifestyle the middle path and we as Muslims have to stick to that path.
@@blankblank5397 oh yes theres always trolls hanging around, I dont mean those guys, what I mean is for example a youth coming in to learn about masculinity but since the word Alpha Male Is used by the brothers but also by the MGTOW movement which has valid points but is also an extreme, theres a chance the youth might get mixed up in such movements thinking that its the Islamic way. So caution is advised and also I think the youth should be taught the seerah of the Prophet SAW and the about the life of the companions those are the best examples of real men and I believe that is also what Brother Gabriel is teaching.
@@Mardark-e4s they are basically like the muslim man red pill lol it's funny they are taking a stance against " western influence" but at the same time incorporating modern western ideology of masculinity which includes the MGTOW/ red pill movement that is embraced by non muslim man that has gained popularity. I have been noticing that
@@Jamila91100 which why is think some guidance is required from brother Gabriel's side to distinguish between the two Islamic masculinity and western ideology of masculinity while they do have some similar points, the western ideology stems from a reaction to extreme feminism so its kind of like a woman hate group to that extreme, I dont want muslim youths to grow up to become women beaters and haters. Those are my concerns, but I believe brother Gabriel in real life not on these talks does teach the middle path and how to attain it, its the other brothers that need more understanding.
Allah has allowed Gabriel’s message of restoring Muslim masculinity to gain a lot more exposure on the internet. Although many disagree with how Gabriel spoke to Mufti, the video has caused a chunk of the online Muslim community to actually stop for a second and have a conversation about Muslim masculinity & femininity.
@@The3Muslims Thanks brother, I have a question. I'm a young guy and I was gonna join the military, but not anymore. It seems I can't finish school, due to interest and student loans being haram. Insurance is also haram. So as a Muslim in the West, how do you make decent halal money and get an education in order to get established and start a family? Any advice would be appreciated
@@ConquerModernity111 you can finish school, don’t worry as long as the place you work at isn’t haram, you’ll be fine. Also islamically it’s permissible to get the base insurance plan because it’s mandatory in a lot of places. For the part about interest, interest is haram but you’ve already started in it and even if you continue to sin it’s better that you’re a Muslim who sins then not a Muslim at all. I still fall short today, just ask for forgiveness and keep going. Allah is the most merciful. You should accept Islam brother! - Rami
Yes sister as a women I just knew this I feel like I was brainwashed before I discovered this Chanel I still didn’t agree with the feminists and I disagreed with them even before I knew anything about Islam it’s like my fitra was still intact and Allah guided me alhamdoulilah but I didn’t understand feminism until now alhamdoulilah for Islam
Brother Gabriel i don’t know if you’ll see this but my respect for you just went sky high after watching this. Mashallah Allahummabarik I can see how much you love our beloved Muhammad ﷺ and how much you truly care for the brothers AND SISTERS of our ummah. May Allah preserve and bless you and may he guide us all
I agree with brother Gabriel and understand his point, however I think most people had a problem not with his point, but his approach, the video sounded like a personal attack on Mufti Menk and was making a lot of assumptions about him, the video came off as backbiting. It would be cool if he could make a video with Ali Dawah or talk to Mufti Menk about these issues
Exactly why make fun of mufti instead he could have privately messaged him and have mufti fixed the issue. I think Mufti Menk must of made this video innocently.
Brother mufti menk made the video public and so gabriel had to tackle the issue publically. Also it didn’t look like a personal attack to be honest just straight up and frank.
Bloody excellent Podcast, as a father raising two sons this makes perfect sense, Muslim men are definitely lacking in regard to providing a Masculine role model for their kids, and we need to be firm with our wives that we need to raise our boys to be MEN.
I don't know if many people know this but there was a shooter trying to shoot up a mosque in norway a couple years ago ..but he was stopped by a 65 year old man...The 65 year old had experience in combat which helped stop another christchurch from happening...so it really goes to show that having these skills does really help
This is an interesting video but I also feel that it’s risky to redefine certain things such as knitting as “feminine” based on western ideologies in modern times. Many people see being emotional & emotionally intelligent as a “feminine trait” so will we start teaching our sons to suppress their emotions?
Gabriel is very right, I have been living in malaysia almost 25yrs. What he is saying is very very right, it takes "non Malaysian scholar muslim, or educator to speak up". Elgibiti is getting worse. Need to protect future muslim generation.
Br. Gabriel makes a great point. Where are the shaykhas and ustadhas who are teaching Muslim women how to knit, sew, and cook? Instead, simp muftis are teaching Muslim men this while the shaykhas are teaching sisters to be CEOs and protestors.
Mashallah this is actually a very good video, extremely eye opening. May Allah reward all of you brothers and guide us all “Indeed, Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers.”
I came across brother Anghel's channel when I started my semen retention journey over a year ago and I am a believer in divine timing. Everything that you guys talk about resonates deep inside. Thank you keep speaking your truth🙏
Assalamu alaikum, I do agree with my brothers regarding masculinity, and all the other points that were made, and I love listening to Gabriel Romani, may Allah reward him and my 3 Muslims brothers, Ameen. However, just a reminder, that the prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa salaam) did sew, MashaAllah, and there are many masculine brothers who knit, and sew, a family member of mine actually used to knit kufis and things and he is extremely masculine and very learned in fighting/self defense techniques. I just wasn't comfortable with the making jokes about it, which can lead to saying something is haram when it is not, or mocking others. May Allah guide us to what pleases Him and keep us steadfast on the Deen, Ameen.
Its exactly what the prophet did...its a sunna...yet these guys see it on a whole different level...its as tho they arguing the prophet on sew and mending hadith...don't know y they think everybody is the same in masculine things... A sahabee by the names of Hassan ibn thabit couldn't even fight in a battle coz that's how he was however much he tried he couldn't coz he wasn't that kind of a man...but he contributed to Islam in the field he excelled that is poetry and the prophet never degraded him saying he is not manly he is feminine like these guys address Muslims for not being like them...they better fix themselves and look up to the prophet and companions how they delt with each other and end up excelling each in a field that matched their nature...
@Anwar purpose or hobby there nothing wrong in it since that is who they are...Hassan ibn thabit failure to fight in battle was who he is and no body called him feminine coz of that since its well known its feminine not stand in battle for a man or as they say "Be a man!" When the prophet sewed he did it in his free time...that's exactly what menk was doing in his free time...Lol
@Anwar The problem I have with him is the way he addressed the issue and the words he used while to point out his problem...in actual sense words that are not chosen correctly end up making no sense whether they are correct or not...his communication skills are poor and that's what he needs to fix...no man needs to be taught that he should learn how to defend himself or what is his...its common sense.
@@yasinfazley8313 how will one watch the whole video when even the intro is filled poor akhlaq interns of words...akhi even firaun the worst was addressed with respect with the order coming from the Almighty... What these guys are completely not doing? Don't u think it high time they fixed themselves and practised examples Allah put for us...?with the words they used I lost the appetite to watch the whole thing akhi.
My grandpa is over 80 (been to few wars) and he has skills better than my grandma’s. He knows how to cook, sow, knit, washing clothes, building furniture etc. What’s wrong with men knowing how to sow and knit. Knitting also helps relax your mind. Is it a bad idea to sit down with your wife once is a while to chitchat and do a small activity (knitting or something else)?
Exactly! I don't understand people's obsession with assigning genders to hobbies. In India, I've seen a lot of tailors and embroiderers. Most of the Indian bridal suits are made by these men. Does that make them less masculine? What about world renowned chef, Gordon ramsay. Does his love for cooking make him less masculine?
Ohhh man, I'm so hyped to watch this episode, two of my favourite RUclipsrs in it! Jazaka Allahu khairan for bringing brothers Gabriel and abu American!
Sending my Salam from Saudi Arabia to all the strangers all over the world. When faith Iman touch our hearts our brains, souls and hearts awake and we don't follow waves or going with flow but we stand our ground and follow Quran and sunna that's the strangers journey being awake in the middle of sleeping people.
I was skeptical when I saw the title and stuff but man, It didn’t take long for me to realize that this is the truth. At first I was like really you gonna come at this man for knitting but the problems addressed by Abu and Gabriel are undeniable. Our society is so backwards in this regard and with the lack of real men. I’m only 30 minutes but I think this is an episode that everyone needs to watch especially in the west.Barakallah fikum.
@@ajajssksk1757 Maybe in the beginning. But after few months me and my broter enjoy it too. Not feel forced or necessary. You mix between ''feminity'' and ''artistry''. Are man as cake decorator feminin? or as interior desainer? textile desainer? or florist? or dancer? Woman do knitting bcs they have patience n attention to detaill thats all. Just like men do carving bcs they have muscle power.
As a women I agree with a lot of the things you guys say and talk about. I literally have been binge watching your podcast and Gabriel’s videos! Mashaa Allah! May Allah reward you all for your efforts!
about finding the right balance , mufti menk was showing kindness , compassion how to spend time with your children. That is the objective of the video , in a world where parents dont have time to spend with kids . You could use the same logic like oh why was prophet pbuh kind or affectionate with children or helped doing housework with his wife is THis A Real Man the answe is yes and no one is better in character than the prophet pbuh. Its about being a warrior on the battlefield and having emotional intelligence as well at home However gabriel is partly right that you cant be a total softy that society is just gonna push you over and the acquirement of defensive skills like martial arts weapons are just as important and arnt emphasized as much because most scholars are only book readers , and arnt qualified in the physical aspect of finding the balance
Agree 50/50 with your overall opinion 👌🏼 Ohhhh please brother Al Romani should not phrases hate in his speech spreading and judging others Islam is not about condemning other and send out embarrassing headlines! Not that way!! Mufti is like a father normal human being not an arrogant boastful sheik, gentle caring approach enticing the young towards Islam ! I’m a grandmother! all my children love him!! So what men has been knitting in all sort of approach and design, in Peru and many other countries and other wintery and four seasons countries since Olden days that is how they make their living selling blankets and capes hoodies for winter and carpets too not knitting but weaving all art of hand work !! All my brothers and sisters Do google and read more about men who knits ! They are also hunters horse riders and much more masculine then what ever was talk down !! So do we mean to say all chefs who cooks should stop their channels ✋🏼 as they are womanly , feminine being put in the kitchen like a wifey 🤣right this is not a good lessons for children we mean, as all male children who See’S or learn from them will turn feminine or softie !! Hahahah ! Oohhh Stop it all we should not invite fitnah !! Shut our mouth if we have nothing better to say .. may Allah forgive all and may Allah guide all to the right path Aminn! Bless day .. sharing my 1cent thoughts..Wassalam
Honestly I’m so relieved this podcast came out, as a teenager the struggles I’ve previously faced with regards to classmates being feminists and undermining masculinity in men and trying to implement it in women, then aiming to drag everyone down with them, I truly realised it’s hard to find people striving towards the path of Allah. And it’s also so hard to find decent people. And the parents don’t implement the masculine and feminine characters in their children and then leave society to do whatever they want with them leading to destruction. And the worry a lot of youth striving towards the path of Allah face is finding the right spouse; the man looking for a feminine but also determined wife, and the wife looking man for a gentle but strong masculine husband. Women know deep down they need masculine men, men are made to lead; whilst women aren’t. And being cancelled for it shouldn’t be an issue for the ones with platforms; us as youth need the reminder as a lot of people don’t have good people around them to advise them. Society is brainwashing our Muslim community and with these brothers providing a platform to support us youth its very touching. May Allah reward these brothers, ease their struggles and strength their path to Allah. And may He protect us and keep us on the straight path Aameen
Jazakum Allah keyr brothers wallahi this podcast and brother Gabriel's videos opened my eyes. I'm definitely gonna send my younger brother to the martial art academy, even though this issue is not that big in Ethiopia, may Allah bless you. And brother Gabriel may Allah give a better job.
Send your younger brothers for martial art classes, kickboxing etc., and make sure u teach them to clean up after themselves and to help out in household chores as well. That is a major contributing factor to happy & successful marriages.
@@The3Muslims OH!!!!!!!!!! You do not know how happy I am! I didn't watch the full podcast because I was busy with other podcasts like freshly grounded and rerooted
my Muslim friend saw that video and was influenced to try knitting, and he was a MEN, do you see the influence, he literally said we should try to get ourselves knitting materials and start knitting, just because mufti menk did it
This conversation is so needed nowadays! I can’t believe I am just discovering your channel today! Subhana Allah May Allah bless you all and give you the courage and strength to keep speaking the truth!
Salaam T3M crew, Big thank you to you guys. Ngl, I'm someone who memories Quran on a regular basis and pray and all that stuff, and subconsciously Shaitan tricked me into thinking that I wouldnt get much out of this podcast, it's just something I played in the background during work. But I can definitely say that I've benefitted a lot from this Podcast up to now and implemented a lot of stuff in my life. Shows that this is useful for all parts of the Islamic spectrum. (Also, I did boxing for 2 years big up combat sports)
They legit force kids to think in a dodgy way. I was a TA in a year 4 class and the teacher gave them a task. The task was to draw a character in a girly attire and draw the same character on other half of the page wearing the same cloths. The teacher made sure to drill the point that it was the same character, some of the kids asked "why miss?". She said just do it, it was very subtle, I didn't think much of it but looking back at it now, it made me realise it was planting a seed of confusion.
@War Ter never heard of him, but I'll look it up. I don't think the main aim is to dumb things down, it's to confuse the masses. Search it up, but there was a little 10 year old girl who got excluded refused to take part in some activities they did. Non Muslim little girl but her reason was she noticed younger children didn't know what to call themselves.
This video is very short. I could listen to hours and hours of this. Abu American brings in a psychology perspective and Sheikh Gabriel brings a bit more Islamic perspective. Looking forward to more such content.
I am subscribing to this channel because of brother Gabriel and Daniel whom I've known them standing their ground with their principles and I believ you guys are the same otherwise they wouldn't be on this channel. Keep up the productive contents بارك الله فيكم
Omg. You can't emphasize this topic any stronger! We are even too late. Things started to get out of balance long ago. Man/Woman - Gender mainstream was sucking my nerves since it had started.
Yes, a feminine guy wearing pink, with makeup and super tight clothing and a gay voice may be funny and sh*t to hollywood and the things ppl watch on RUclips or Netflix like drag queens (May Allah have mercy on us) but showing kids sh*t like this will f*ck them up. You’re double strong for realizing this as a woman. Let me guess, you had a strong family unit and father growing up? - Faiyad
@@The3Muslims not to mention that these shayateen don't even want us to have kids. That's where so many of these liberal countries are heading. Couples that have had their women or men or both sterilised. May Allaah protect us
@@The3Muslims you are so right Faiyad. There is nothing I would add to what you said. - To me: just recently I told Anghel that I sometimes feel not here on earth physically. BUT Everything becomes difficult for those who believe, Mentally, Spiritually but most of all Emotionally! Truth is, I suffer. But more would be not nice to bring it here in this comment. - I am just so grateful for your work you as T3M❤️
@@The3Muslims I got the link for this video from brother Daniel H. MashAllah you guys , keep this work up , but one comment, please don’t say or comment using f words and things like that , Muslims should keep their speech clean. Others might think it’s ok to use them too. I know you don’t mean harm to anyone in the ummah, but please use Prophet’s sallalyahu aleikhi ya sallyam ways. Thank you.
As a muslimah I couldn't agree more with these brothers. We need more like Brother Gabriel who is unapologetic strong and firm in his beliefs, it's an admirable quality to see. I myself have noticed over the years the degeneration of masculinity and how it is undergoing a catastrophic collapse. We have become so complacent and comfortable in our environment that we don't want to stand against the narrative even though it categorically goes against the teachings of Islam, we rather look for ways to blend in and normalize haram issues. What is haram cannot be changed, you remain firm on that stance without worrying about losing your position or loss of earnings, stay upon the haque, don't be afraid to go against the grain and rely on the Creator for He is your sustainer and the one who honours you.
I don't think anybody thought anything negative when they saw the video clip of mufti Menk knitting. Mr Gabriel, not sure if he is a sheikh, planted a seed that was unnecessary. He was wrong and disrespectful. Don't blame Mufti Menk's knitting for the gay men in society. Blame the ungodliness of families and the filth the kids are exposed to. Gabriel is actually saying Mufti Menk is not a real man and teaches men to be babies? Did he watch all mufti's videos and talks.
Man this knitting drama is still going on? 😂😂 Honestly tho, alhamdulillah that the conversation about masculinity is starting in the mainstream too inshaaAllah. May Allah reward all of you brothers
JazakAllah khairan brother Gabriel and the other bros. This had to be said, the ummah is in serious trouble in these regards. Good to see some real men still out here.
I am confused here... How is knitting different than sewing or weaving & when did it become feminine? It was hinted in the video that because of TOY MAKERS targeting females with kits... Is cooking feminine for the same reason? Is there any Hadith or Fiqh classifying knitting/sewing as feminine (like wearing Gold, silk & women clothing) rather than toy companies marketing department as law dictators? Is this enough reason to attack each other without going to Qur'an & Sunnah/ Ijmaa of Ummah as instructed by the Prophet SAW?
If you y'all need some followers, you don't have to demonize the brother and the manhood of muslim men around the world. Have respect, talk kindly, stay humble and do good in life worth more than anything in this world. With all due respect, I'll wear pink, swim, shoot guns, ride a horse and still do the dishes and help changing the diapers of my kids and take the trash out and will not change my masculinity whatsoever. Being a man is to understand the love of a mother to her child. Being a leader of the house is not making you the boss and you tell your wife what needs to be done here and there. You have to have balance, you need to understand and appreciate what a wife do for you and the kids while you both working and trying to support each other. Helping her doesn't lower your masculinity it will actually increase it. You can be oppressed and have her cook, clean, do house work and controlling her like a TV remote but it won't last long bothers. Good luck with everything you do and worry about your problems and leave the rest to Allah. ☣️
I remember one verse in Quran saying "O Prophet! Why do you prohibit ˹yourself˺ from what Allah has made lawful to you, seeking to please your wives?" QS Tahreem:1 it totally knock first to my head when AbuAmerican saying "Make woman happy by the way of masculinity not the feministic side of man" it just when a Man doing something that totally in side of feministic/Woman, remind me one Hadith where Prophet despise Woman who act like Man and Man who act like Woman
What do you guys think about a man training with his wife? They wouldn’t train in the exact same way but imagine if our brothers and sisters were both able to defend themselves.
So you you want me to beat the sh*t out of my wives to teach them self defense? lmao jp I'm in agreement with faiyad except that it'll always be the man training her unless she was obsessed with self defense and practicing everyday on her kids while her husband is at work just so she can hand his ass to him one day lol but even then, their will always be a clear difference in physical strength so again, the man will always be teaching his woman. It's a great thing for both to do. - Anghel
As someone who works in the field, I completely understand the sentiments behind what is being said but I don't think it's ever wise to single out a fellow Muslim, especially if there is no evidence to suggest that the individual in question deliberately seeks to cause dismay to the psyche of Muslim youths such that they consequentially turn gay. Islam came to protect the honour and dignity of Muslims. Forgive me but I would really really advise against speaking about people rather than speaking to them. May Allah protect us all, ameen!
@Abeera Khawaja what is your prove of what i said being satanic there are abusive men who are calling themselves alpha males there is such thing as toxic masculinity and toxic femininity maybe you dont know it depends on the individuel healthy masculine men who is emotionally and mentally mature is very different from emotionally and intellecttually undeveloped masculine men it is the same with females masculinity and femininity are expressed differenly by different people
I like how you went by probability. Knitting especially in the west is done more by women. The prophet told us Men and Women to differentiate our selves. I’m just confused on how to differentiate what’s masculine and feminine without being subjective. What’s the measuring tool between different cultures and society’s? Do we go by probability of what the majority of men do or women do to determine that? I hope you guys can answer my question.
Masculine and feminine are 2 parts of the same coin; Self Preservation. Masculinity is self preservation in the sense that it's a "on mode." Think sympathetic nervous system activation (fight/flight). Aggression is a very fitting word that is aligned with Masculinity. Ex. of Masculine traits/hobbies: Fighting, hunting, building things, farming, horse riding, archery, marksmanship, deep voice, beards, high amount of muscle to fat ratio. Femininity is self preservation is the sense that it's a "off mode." Think parasympathetic nervous system activation (rest and digest). Healing/nurturing are very fitting words that are aligned with Femininity. Ex. of Feminine traits/hobbies: Cooking, raising children, knitting/sewing, beautifying oneself (makeup, etc.), socializing and connecting with others, higher pitched voice, high amount of fat to muscle ratio. Both Men and Women have both Masculine and Feminine energy, just in different amounts and that is expressed in our physiology and psychology. - Anghel
They're probably just doing what they can to make money dude and again, both masculine and feminine hobbies/traits can be done/possessed by either Man or Woman. - Anghel
@@randommuslim2149 Who decides what hobby is feminine and what is not? Some if not most consider cooking feminine. Should we berate our Muslim brothers who loves cooking and is also food youtubers ? Should we berate our sisters who loves masculine hobbies? Does love for horse riding, farming make a sister less feminine? My grandmother used to chop wood ( same with my sister's mother in law and women of their generation because cooking gas was expensive. It still is. But my grandmother has gotten a stroke, so she's not able to continue. Whereas my sister's mother in law still does it), paint the house, polish the furnitures in the house, loved farming. Does that make her less feminine? I atleast don't believe so. I still don't understand the hate Mufti Menk received for this.
Hisham bin Urwah mentions that a person asked Ummul Mu’meneen Sayyiduna Aisha Radiyallahu Anha what were the actions of Nabi Sallalahu Alayhi Wassallam in his house. She said he would sew or mend his clothing and repair his shoes.[2]
That was a good point. Our ummah tends to be scared of the west mostly because of the history of Muslims countries in the past being colonized If that makes sense.
Yes but were not just scared we have also been integrated into their mindset which means losing our way, this is an issue and this is why our ummah is slowly losing their manhood, womanhood, Islam, etc. - Rami

I generally agree with the theme in this podcast however I don’t know if some of the things people may have been suggesting here was Islamic. If someone calls u an idiot is it Islamic to reply who you calling an idiot or is it better to be humble, say something funny And walk away knowing the former might escalate to violence? I don’t know what the Islamic way is but I know if someone is abusive to u it doesn’t mean u be talk like a thug. Similarly these guys mentioned some brothers cleaned up the area in the bronx from gangsters, did they do this by vigilantism cos I’m not sure how you move gangsters unless by reporting them, converting them or threatening them. I don’t know but I don’t think vigilantism is allowed in Islam? Yes men have a monster inside them and we are capable of monstrous things but Islam tells us to control our anger and I’m not sure it allows us to walk around speaking up to everyone and taking them on?
You know what, like I'm being honest, the video itself wasn't bad cos he wasn't aiming it TOWARDS men, he's got loads of daughters so yh, that's not the problem. The problem is the BALANCE of content and the content we need nowadays, that's the problem. I've only seen videos of him stroking his cats and knitting, where are the other sunnahs, like swimming, archery etc? We need to revive those sunnahs. I wouldn't mind if Mufti Menk, showed videos of himself boxing, excersing, eating healthy, AND knitting, cleaning, doing chores around the house to help your parents etc. Because then his content would be balanced, which is good.I think Gabriel should of worded it like this ngl, it would of made more sense.
Gossiping and knit picking about a person’s actions is quite ‘feminine’. The prophet was very strong in the fact that he had a soft core. What would you guys do if some group of people’s purpose was to do everything in their power to deviate you from the straight path? Now take the prophet’s example of dealing with Abu Lahab and his wife. Did the prophet puff up his chest and intimidate them with his ‘masculinity’? Now I understand the west’s agenda of making men weak/purposeless but to demonise having a soft, generous, giving core is against the prophets teaching. This whole masculinity thing is overstretched and will cause your ego to fill with pride thus over weighing your light soul. Yes, the prophet was one of the most skilled generals in history but was his first move to destroy those who intimidated and opposed him? Rather, he prayed that God may guide them on the straight path, to forgive them of their ignorance and ill will towards him. He then was commanded to migrate away to Medina and only through the order of God he went back to Mecca for battle
They’re not “gossiping” about mufti menk, they’re just bringing him up to address the bigger picture about the future of masculinity. Again, saying “the Prophet (pbuh) did this and that...” is like saying “but 2+2=4”, that’s a fact yes, but we’re looking at the bigger picture. A matter of fact, the Prophet (pbuh) sometimes also acted harshly, but will I use that exception to prove that Muslims should be like that all the time? (islamophobes have that same agenda when they nit pick verses to accuse us of terrorism..) The Prophet (pbuh) acted in certain ways because he knew things that we didn’t, likewise these Muslims know the reality of marriages and know how the disease of feminism and liberalism is spreading amongst the Muslim community, yet when they speak up you criticize them as if they’re marching with a whole army towards this issue? ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed masculinized women. Narrated by Abu Dawood (4099); classed as hasan by al-Nawawi in al-Majmoo’ (4/469) and as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.
Yes I can see your point about criticism being too harsh and creating ego (and thats why there should be more of a balanced and nuanced approach), but after being silent for so long, we must accept some harshness or we’ll bear the consequences of being irresponsible.
There's so much I disagree with in this video and I think you guys should reconsider what you all said in here. The more I listen to this, the more I feel like you guys dropped the ball on this one. May ALLAAH protect us all.
Nowadays we are so obsessed with this idea of alpha male and women, instead of being focused on finding out who you are as a human being what's your purpose on earth and what kind of contribution can you offer to mankind.
Can’t find that out if you’re not connected to your natural state akhi. A feminine man or masculine woman is more times than not out of touch with their fitrah and thus can’t fully express themselves fully - Faiyad
@@The3Muslims in my understanding akhi , we all come from both man and a female therefore carey both feminine and masculine energy in us . So unless we all are able to balance that out we can never be truly fully haman being. Reason why you have a man acting fully feminine or a female loosing her feminity and embracing the masculine energy trough competition that is a reaction from the so called " feminine right" which is just here to cause chaos in the natural order of the divine plan. So in my opinion prophet muhammad came to liberate both man and women from their egos and to be able to understand who they truly are so we can all play our role into bringing a balance society without which we are doom and heading towards destruction as we see it now .
Men and Women have both masculine and feminine but it is not balanced. It is not 50/50 otherwise all humans would look androgynous seeing that the amount masculine energy (testosterone) and feminine energy (estrogen) that one has is expressed physiologically and psychologically. Men are meant to have =/> 75% of masculine energy and =/< 25% of feminine energy. Women are meant to have =/> 75% of feminine energy and =/< 25% of masculine energy. - Anghel
@@The3Muslims we all agree to that brother , what I meant is that we all should learn to balance it . But as we all know in these days we are living everything is out of balance, I feel like we are more heading toward the western physiology of life than the eastern . Allah said that the man is different from the female . But at the same time we are from these two pairs. What you saying is true in the natural sense (75/25) but don't forget some female have more of the male energy in them than feminine. Vice versa . Someone you see a man who behave just like a female because he as more of the Y THAN X IN HIM AND vice versa with the female .But if they were thaught to understand the imbalance that is happening in them they would be able to live not as the western claim that such a man is gay but they will understand, God have only made man and women . It's all a matter of understanding brother . We are on the same page . I have my own youtube channel check it out .

May Allah reward you immensely for sticking to Quran and Sunnah!
He in fact bring his son do horse riding and archery...i know you are a new revert and all of a sudden hearing this kind of “issue” among “muslims”...i hope u istiqomah
Edit: besides, u can watch Chechen fighter who also dance to their traditional culture like Zubaira, Khamzat..even Ramzan Kadyrov(Chechnya president) also dance to his traditional culture and he is also the military leader! He is the strongest opponent of the lgbtq movement and warn it to his people.
Assalamu aleikum, great video brothers, but let brother Anghel first learn and experience Islam for a time before involving him in these topics.
It can confuse and harden the heart
Jazakallahu khayr wa barakallahu feekum!
@@blankblank5397 yes that is what I mean by maybe more clarification is needed i some enthusiastic youths might take Gabriels views out of context

My husband sew torn clothes fixes loose buttons...that doesnt made him less man...I in fact respect and appreciate him more
Its exactly what the prophet did...its a sunna...yet these guys see it on a whole different level...its as tho they arguing the prophet on sew and mending hadith...don't know y they think everybody is the same in masculine things...
@@amishrush9486 I don't think you watched the entire video, you seem very emotional

I was skeptical when I saw the title and stuff but man, It didn’t take long for me to realize that this is the truth. At first I was like really you gonna come at this man for knitting but the problems addressed by Abu and Gabriel are undeniable. Our society is so backwards in this regard and with the lack of real men. I’m only 30 minutes but I think this is an episode that everyone needs to watch especially in the west.Barakallah fikum.
There is no connection between knitting and manhood. I and my brother grew up helping my mom knitting for living, and both of us still 100% man

@@krishar1460 necessity is fine and they agree with that. But doing it as a hobby is questionable since it a more feminine activity.

about finding the right balance , mufti menk was showing kindness , compassion how to spend time with your children. That is the objective of the video , in a world where parents dont have time to spend with kids . You could use the same logic like oh why was prophet pbuh kind or affectionate with children or helped doing housework with his wife is THis A Real Man the answe is yes and no one is better in character than the prophet pbuh.
Its about being a warrior on the battlefield and having emotional intelligence as well at home
However gabriel is partly right that you cant be a total softy that society is just gonna push you over and the acquirement of defensive skills like martial arts weapons are just as important and arnt emphasized as much because most scholars are only book readers , and arnt qualified in the physical aspect of finding the balance
Agree 50/50 with your overall opinion 👌🏼
Ohhhh please brother Al Romani should not phrases hate in his speech spreading and judging others Islam is not about condemning other and send out embarrassing headlines!

Thanks for doing this. This is needed in our society. I didnt become muslim to be part of a soy religion.

I really enjoyed this episode, as a woman I’ve heard nothing but the truth.
Good video, I will encourage my younger brother to learn martial arts in-sha-Allah

I love mufti menk. He does inspire a lot of people. However I do understand that our men need to step up and bring out their masculinity again.
Man this knitting drama is still going on? 😂😂
Honestly tho, alhamdulillah that the conversation about masculinity is starting in the mainstream too inshaaAllah.

Mashallah! the Muslim ummah need to stand together as one🤲🏾
I remember one verse in Quran saying
"O Prophet! Why do you prohibit ˹yourself˺ from what Allah has made lawful to you, seeking to please your wives?"
QS Tahreem:1
it totally knock first to my head when AbuAmerican saying "Make woman happy by the way of masculinity not the feministic side of man"
it just when a Man doing something that totally in side of feministic/Woman, remind me one Hadith where Prophet despise Woman who act like Man and Man who act like Woman
Now this the bottom line.
Oh wow the similarities are significant.
I’m a boy and I knit, I’m not sure if I will drop it if I transition into a man, but if I don’t, I will still be a man.
What do you guys think about a man training with his wife? They wouldn’t train in the exact same way but imagine if our brothers and sisters were both able to defend themselves.
I’d rather train her and then train with her. But she gotta be coachable 👀
- Faiyad
What’s wrong with women learning martial arts, gym etc ? What is wrong with women defending themselves ? This is absurd

not toxic masculinity
@Abeera Khawaja what is your prove of what i said being satanic there are abusive men who are calling themselves alpha males there is such thing as toxic masculinity and toxic femininity maybe you dont know it depends on the individuel healthy masculine men who is emotionally and mentally mature is very different from emotionally and intellecttually undeveloped masculine men it is the same with females masculinity and femininity are expressed differenly by different people
@@samaradam904 their is no such thing. It is a made up term.

@@ishmaelslife2747 Cooking isn't feminine. Knitting, I dont know a lot of men who knit.

I know of cases today where women threaten thier husbands with divorce and taking children away if they don't buy them bigger houses etc...
Thats the husband's fault for marrying a girl like that.

(islamophobes have that same agenda when they nit pick verses to accuse us of terrorism..)
The Prophet (pbuh) acted in certain ways because he knew things that we didn’t, likewise these Muslims know the reality of marriages and know how the disease of feminism and liberalism is spreading amongst the Muslim community, yet when they speak up you criticize them as if they’re marching with a whole army towards this issue?
Brother Gabrielle has been damaged as a child. He is ignorant and not worthy of the blessings of Allah.
Nowadays we are so obsessed with this idea of alpha male and women, instead of being focused on finding out who you are as a human being what's your purpose on earth and what kind of contribution can you offer to mankind.
Can’t find that out if you’re not connected to your natural state akhi. A feminine man or masculine woman is more times than not out of touch with their fitrah and thus can’t fully express themselves fully
- Faiyad
@@The3Muslims that's why you can't find out akhi
