Thanks for discussing the extra cushion situation, that could be an issue if you have extra people visit & sleep in the RV. Also would like to mention that with the permanent back rest cushions, the extra beds become a bit smaller than the Flying Cloud/International RVs of the same size.
Hey Brad - great video! i like watching your vids because you get straight to the point and cover everything really well. We just put a deposit on one at A/S of Mississippi (a little closer to home than Utah 😂) and you hit all the key items we went over yesterday. We also have solar panels so my question is what about the batteries? I’ve been looking at Enduro lithiums…any recommendations? I think we are scheduled to install AGMs but I have time to change. Thanks!
Hi Bob! Thanks for watching and for your feedback! Congratulations on your new rig and welcome to the Airstream family! Before I go into my thoughts on the batteries, I highly reommend that anyone consider very carefully the need for lithium. If you're an experienced camper and know you spend a ton of time off grid / boondocking, lithium is probably for you. If you're only seldom away from a power source, lithium is likely far more than what you need. We always encourage our customers to test their rig and if they need more, we are always there to help. Also, an energy audit can be helpful. While Ive heard good things about these batteries, I have no experience with them personally and have yet to see them in an Airstream. We (and I) recommend Battelborn because of the tried and true customer service, exceptional products and longevity in the industry. Also, they mesh well with all Victron components. I personally have Battleborn in my own rig. I hope this is helpful. Give us a call at the dealership if you'd like to discuss further.
You mentioned the Coleman units have an easy start feature. Is that a micro air or some other brand? We just received our 2023 GT FBT and weren't aware it had this feature.
@@airstreamofutah It would be interesting if the middle compartment with the shower, bathroom and closed had some kind of retractable doors, rather than curtains.
great review
Beautiful 🤩
Thanks for watching!

Excellent point! Thank you for mentioning it.
Does this come in a reverse floor plan?

They all have them built in but the Coleman seems to handle the generator much better than Dometic based on our trials and inspections.
Does this come with yhe Twin bed option
Yes!
Is it better to use part of the table or the extended drawers for the U-shape dinette configuration? Will those drawers malfunction over time?
The manual says use the drawers with the thicker cushion.

Brad, you need a cameraperson instead of filming by yourself but great video.
We have a very small staff and I only work there a few days a week. Its busy and hard to get it all in. Thanks for the feedback and for watching!
A woven floor in a bathroom is almost as gross as carpet in a bathroom. 🤢
Its a synthetic material that doesn't stain or have issues like carpet would. Also, the subfloor is composite.
