Freezer not getting cold anymore and refrigerator is getting too cold. What should I do?

Brad, How can I plug the microwave into a ecoflo battery when off grid so I don't have to use the generator? is there a way to unplug the microwave and plug into a remote ecoflo or jackery battery? Not to use the convection oven use but just the microwave for 5 minutes of less. I have the 2020 22fb caravel.

Hey pal, thanks for the video. This will be my first winterization of our new globetrotter so I was thinking about putting maybe 6 gallons or so of antifreeze into the fresh water tank and pumping to every outlet, seems to me that this way every nook and cranny will be purged of clear water. Could you weigh in on this? The only downside I can think of is a small amount of extra money for antifreeze.

Brad, I certainly do appreciate your videos! Thank you. I purchased my new 2023 caravel 20FB in January 24. It has the victron 200w solar from the factory. I had 2 battle born lithium-ion batteries installed. To be honest I am pretty disappointed with the wiring mess under the bed. We had a ground wire come disconnected there and we had problems figuring out what the problem was. Which brings me to one of my questions, I can’t find any info on How the whole DC system works? Not just the solar but how do the batteries charge with shore power, solar power or shore and solar at the same time? A good description and operation of the whole Airstream DC power system (solar/shore power) is something I’d like to read and learn more about. Do you know where I can find this? Would all airstreams with factory solar be basically the same? Thank you for all your help, we’d love to see you out on the road some day we plan on visiting all the good places in Utah soon, Thanks!

Hello.. I don’t have an Airstream but I do have the Girard 2 tankless water heater. Manual does not help me much on how the heck to flush this tank. My water flow is getting slow. I’m permanently parked so pressure about same from the well. Also.. I don’t know how to pick correct pressure thing at the spigot. thank you so much. Stuck with mucky RV. h2o water lines😑

I’ve never heard that 33/33/34% ratio. I’m at 29/34/36% (f/r/trailer) but you’re also way off when I calculate yours. I removed WD hitch and use a gen y because I’m towing a 30fb bunk with a 3500 drw Cummins. Also, if I was to get the front axle to that ratio of 33% I would be over on the allowed 6k lb front axle which is the only thing the DOT really cares about. They do not like you going over on your axle weights.

I have the same exact fridge in my trailer and all the lights come on but it doesn't run can you tell me what the problem might be? I have checked the electric supply and fuses and all are good.

I have a 2023 Outback 342CG with Girard tankless water heater

Hello, I’m new at Rv living, and I’m having issues with my girard tankless water heater. I Hurd your video, I stood much and some not. I take a shower and it gets hot, then a few min into it, it goes cold, causing me to get out and turn the kitchen faucet on so I can finish my shower. How can I just take my shower without getting out and turning my faucet on? It just stopped all of a sudden from being able to take a full shower.

Well I wish I would’ve done this last night. I only have one key for my dead bolt, and well I wasn’t even thinking and turned and forced it too much and broke the damn key. It’s not stuck in the key hole, but it’s twisted. What’s my next step? Locksmith?

I have this fridge on my 25 FB and the refirgerator compartment seems to be very wet is there a drain hose somewhere? I haven't gotten under there yet because there are a couple of inches of water on the ground (no it did not affect the fridge). Any adive?

I'll be adding a hot water bypass valve (with cutoff timer) at the galley sink. When you want hot water, hit the button and for a preprogrammed amount of time (45-90 seconds), the valve will open and run the hot water to your fresh tank thus getting hot water to the sink without wasting any or adding to your gray tank... I ordered the parts today.

Can you switch from Dc to AC ?

Old RV we bought didn't come with a manual, I'm just trying to figure out how to heat some frozen pancakes , was it supposed to have a glass tray in the bottom? Do I take the metal rack out for reheating? Etc... Thinking about using my coffee pot to heat them, that bottom thing gets hot 😃

It would cost more than the upgrade but you could get a small portable battery unit that could power household appliances when needed and also be useful for other things when you want to plug stuff in away from the RV.

I slide a yard stick down the handles of the drawers to prevent from opening. The cabinet with two handles side by side gets a velcro cord wrap around both handles to keep closed.
