My question is, why can't we enjoy both ? Why do we have to compare women & men as far as athleticism. I don't let my little nephew dunk on my little niece. Black America makes up 13 to 15% of the population but somehow we think our numbers as consumers of entertainment, products, etc can overtake the dominant society. Like we think that if they support an entertainer, that looks like them, talented or not, with racist beliefs or not, that support won’t overtake our own.
