- We busted a couple GoPro 360 max cameras. I thought they were trash, but it turns out you can easily replace the lens on these! I was able to take two cameras, and make one hood working one. Check it out!

I have a brand new max that has never left my desk or been used. First time I removed the rubber lens covers, the glued on plastic ring came completely off with it. I am not sure if this impacts the waterproofing but you also cannot put the lens covers on.

I replaced my Max lens with a lens from Aliexpress, but the stiching line is very bad. The stiching line is not lining up and the one lens looks a bit darker than the other original lens. Is ther a special trick to line up the stitching line?

There's another way I found, as well. I couldn't find the whole assembly to the lens, as such per your video. Although I found just the "diopter" lens itself on Amazon. Sounds scary, but I just did a two lens swap. You have to use a center-punch, and completely shatter the lens.JUST THE LENS, NOT THE INTERNAL LENS. Remove the glass /dust completely, and simply pop in the new lens. It's a tight fit, so it does take some pressure, but it pops right in.
Just make sure your diopter lens is for the MAX 360 GoPro.

hello, have you ever seen a gopro max with the alignment of the 2 lenses which is offset on the video? it makes me a line on the video, my lenses are in good condition and have never been disassembled. after hours of research I can't find anyone who talks about the same problem as me. thank you

@@faell23 Hello thank you for your answer, I tried to film without using the Android application but by directly pressing the button on the go pro to film. I still have the problem, maybe less but I clearly still have it. I got the new GoPro a year ago, and the first few months I filmed several times with the phone application and I had no problems. I find no one talking about this problem on the GoPro forums, even updating or removing the lens protectors doesn't change anything.

I had two busted cameras I made one good one. Look on eBay.
You can find glass lens in China but you do not need to unscrew whole lens but broke glass lens into pieces to take them out (they are glued with UV glass glue). Be extremely careful during braking lens to break only top glass but not rest. put new glass lens with UV glue just on side of lens and harden in nail studio with UV lamp

Too much weight on the front end, front end is too low and almost no front end travel. Adding weight in the rear doesn't fix any of those problems and increases the chances of a big wheely. Just my opinion from watching many fast cars that don't blow the tires off at the beginning of a run.
