So, I have made beaded jewelry for nearly 20 years, and even taught others, but when making my wrapped loops I never tightened the wire as I went. That was brilliant! Loved this video and simply cannot wait to make an entire chain for a necklace. Already see the end result in my mind! I have subscribed!
Thank you!! This is a wonderful idea for a really pretty and unique chain!! I have been looking for something different and this really fits my style!!
This will be perfect for using up some old sterling silver wire I have not yet found a use for! I suppose I could get a clasp or two out of it also =) I will try this out on some copper wire first in order to practice and get the muscle memory down before cutting up my precious silver 😅😅
It would make a great bracelet......do you wrap single pearls without holes in them. I have a pearl that my daughter loves and I want to make her something.
Thanks, Susie! I'm sorry that part was confusing. It doesn't help that I was struggling to stay in the camera frame, I'm sure! Basically, I'm looping the wire around to create a teardrop-shaped loop that the hook will go into. Once you've looped it all the way around to form a closed shape, you will finish it off by wrapping the tail around the space just above the first, smaller loop that we formed. I hope that helps!
Hi Shan, thanks for watching! It all boils down to chemistry. Hammering metal like this, also known as cold forging, forcibly changes the crystalline structure of the metal. These molecular-level changes reduce the ability of crystals within the lattice to shift around, so the metal becomes more resistant to deformation (i.e. hardened). You can also achieve more subtle hardening through the same effect by simply bending the wire back and forth multiple times (aka "work hardening"). The changes to the crystalline structure can be undone by heating the metal to it's re-crystallization point, then letting it cool slowly, a process known as annealing.
Hi, you can see the profile photo but that's not me I'm 11 year old girl I love to make wire jewellery so I don't have tools how much you have I just have wire cutter so I would be glad if you post a video making jewellery with wire cutter or handmade, but I know that wire jewellery 😟 can't be handmade but if it is possible please post a video using wire cutter or handmade 😊😊, bye😊👋
Nice chain, but you fuss too much with the loops and talk too much. Make the loop and leave it. Stop fussing with it endlessly. Its not perfection, its a chain. No need to talk every second of the video. Give it a rest. Gaps of silence are restful for ears.

Great Video and Thanks for your Creative Knowledge!...Can't wait to check out your Etsy Page!... Peace Love and "LIGHT" 2U!...
This is so beautiful. You're so talented. Where did you learn how to make jewelry? I'm just starting out.
Will the copper tarnish? If so, are there non-tarnish wires that I can use to make beautiful designs like this that won't tarnish?
Thanks so much!
How do you prevent your tools from marring the metal when you shape your loops?
It would make a great bracelet......do you wrap single pearls without holes in them. I have a pearl that my daughter loves and I want to make her something.
Hey Debbie, maybe the technique I use to cage/wrap beads in this tutorial would work for you: ruclips.net/video/kvNfypNLw9g/видео.html
what do you put on craft wire or artistic wire to keep it from turning your skin green?
I don't usually add a finish because they all wear off, but Protectaclear or Renaissance Wax are popular options :)
Do you think this would be suitable as a charm bracelet?
Hi Bonnie! This should work wonderfully for a charm bracelet!
Love this chain, but at like 8:25 kind of lose what is going on . The pliers go different ways or something. any help?

Me: my chain is too fat to go in my Pandora beads
You: male a chain!
Why does hammering it make stronger?

@@FantasiaElegance fascinating thanks for enlightening me I did not know that...I'm knew to this hobby

Go find someone else who is willing to give their ideas and time away for FREE. Your incessant whining is the most annoying thing here, not the video.
I watched this video from start to end and she didn't do any of the things you just accused her of. 😂
Thank you.
