- Hello!
Learn how to make these cute double wrap links, with wire and a few tools. These are perfect for the beginner but also for anyone wishing to add another chain link into their jewelry making.
Materials you will need:
1mm (18g) wire of your choice. Here, I'm using dead soft bare copper
Flush cutters
2 x chain nose pliers
Ruler
6 step pliers (or round nose)
Hope you enjoy the video

They are beautiful links thank you for the tutorial and spending the time with us. Wishing Glory good health ❤
Thank you so much ☺️ Glory is doing much better and is a happy old man 🥰
Yay! I made that first design last for my son last year and he wears it every single day. And I was looking everywhere for the older tutorial. Thanks for bringing this back. This is such a great design for men AND women. I'm making another one today for a graduation gift for you young man. Thank you so much, Samantha!
Oh that’s lovely! I’m so glad you are making men’s versions… I wish I had men in my life that actually wore jewellery… lol 😂
I redid the video as the original needed to be done better, so I hope this one actually is 🤗
@@samanthalatimer1 Actually, yes. This one is clear and concise, although I thought the last one was just fine, too. Yes, some men just won't wear jewelry. My son surprised me by enthusiastically wearing whatever I've made for him. Today I used 18g wire in copper. It's beautiful, but I think it's going to be for me and not for the young man. I'm making one in 16G bronze which I think is more rugged and appropriate for a guy. This is a fun and versatile link! i'll be incorporating it into many other pieces.
@@roxannecoyne2744 wonderful 🥰🥰
Hello Samantha I truly appreciate and admire your artwork❤. I think you are the best in RUclips artistic creators. My best compliments...😀👌👍🌼💛
That’s so very kind of you, thank you ☺️
Love this link as well. Beautiful area you must find lots of seaglass
I don’t actually go looking for sea glass, but I bet there’s a lot along my shoreline. Maybe I will go have a look for some 😍
Thank You! I just started learning about connectors and chain links from a Wonderful tutor in the states. So this is a Neat technique. I'm looking forward to trying. I never knew about creating chain links and such.
I hope you’re enjoying making your jewelry 🥰 It’s a wonderful passion
Thanks once again! You are the best teacher since your instructions are so clear and detailed! Love this chunky link! ❤️
That’s very kind of you, thank you ☺️

Oh that’s sad! I’m so lucky to be able to access our beach 24/7. Hope you have a wonderful day too ☺️
Lovely link and so versatile! Glad Glory is doing better. We can never talk too much about our pets and kids 😂
So true! I do natter on a bit sometimes lol 😂
@@samanthalatimer1 Not at all! I get the impression that we have a nice like minded community here 😃
@@rowanmcnay oh I totally agree! It’s lovely isn’t it 🥰
Love it!!!
The romantic walk😂😂
My husband says I don’t talk to him as much anymore. After 30 years I really don’t have much to say😂 I have said it all
Exactly! What is there to say that you haven’t already said in 30 years lol 😂
I love these! So much fun. Thank you!
You are so welcome! 🤗
I love these links! I think my husband would even like a bracelet made with them out of chunkier wire. Thank you for demonstrating how to do it. And thanks for some "beach time" at the end... beautiful sunset! 😊🫶
Ah you’re so welcome! ☺️ The sunsets are beautiful where I live… I’m so lucky. I think a chunkier one would look amazing on a gentleman so I hope your husband loves it 🥰
These links will be great for unisex bracelets. They will be very popular at the college where I sell my jewelry.
Absolutely perfect 😍
Just gorgeous!! Hello from North Carolina.
Hello 👋 Lovely to see you ☺️
I love your tutorials! Thank you 😊
You are so welcome! 🤗
Thank you for the these fun links and for the beach therapy at the end. I love walking the beach and that looks like a beautiful, long one.
It’s really beautiful and so clean. I love living where I do ☺️
These are awesome links-love your videos!!!
Thank you so much ☺️
Love this chain, thank you
You’re very welcome ☺️
“Funky, chunky, and kind of fun”…sounds like you are describing me and not the bracelet!
😂🤣😂
So cute - thank you.
Oh I love that! I’m also in the “funky, chunky, and kind of fun” club! Yay! 🙌
I've always loved watching Bob Ross. He always made painting look so easy. Beautiful sunset too. I'm loving the chain links. I wonder what a pair of earrings would look like. I'm going to give it a try, after I make a bracelet and necklace. Glory is such a little love.
Bob is so relaxing isn’t he ☺️ Hope you enjoy making these, Jeanetta
I love it and i wants to try to make them. Thanks
You’re welcome 😊
❤love those❤❤❤
Thank you ☺️ ❤️
Lovely!! Thank you for all that you share, you're a great teacher.
So kind, thank you 🤩
Thank you Samantha!!! I have been making these types of connectors for years, but you showed me a much better more clean way to make them then I have been doing. Thanks again. You are very talented ❣ You have lovely views around you .... blessings
Oh that’s lovely! I always like to learn new ways of doing things 🥰 so I’m glad this was useful for you 🥰
@samanthalatimer1 I always am happy to find a better way! Thank you 😊
I greatly enjoy your channel 🙂💐
😂 As soon as you said happy loop, I took thought of Bob Ross!
Thanks for your tips and projects. ❤️
Definitely a “Bob Ross” moment lol 😂
Thanks Sam, a awesome , versatile link x❤
You’re so welcome ☺️
Funny how turquoise and green colours very often are used with copper. I tried other colours, but they never seem to cooperate with the colour of the copper. I love your link videos, Thank you and lots of hugs from Denmark 🥰🥰🥰🇩🇰. Lene
It’s so true! I’ve also tried so many different colours and I always return to blues and greens 🥰
Just finished making this component.i made a bracelet using 1mm wire and its come out brilliant ! I love it ! Thank you x
I,m just trying out a smaller version now. Using 0.8mm wire. 4 1/2 inch lengths, and the loops made with the 1st step of the bail making pliers. Its teeny weeny and so stinkin cute ! Theyre a lil bit addictive arnt they?! Lol
Thanks Samantha. Another great tutorial x
Oh I love this! I’m so glad you find them as addictive as I do lol 😂 I make lots of these little cuties 😍
@@samanthalatimer1 oh dear ! What have u done to me ?! Youve created a monster ! X 😂😂
@@lisawears3824 I’m so sorry 😬😆
@@samanthalatimer1 i forgive ya lol 😉😄
Nice video, good job!
Thank you ☺️
Great chain links! Can’t wait to make some! I love your videos, Sam. Never apologize for talking about Glory. Jewelry making & dogs are my favorite things! The sunset reminded me of the Moody Blues song, “An English Sunset”.
@@maryjanehiggins4974 ah that’s so lovely, thank you ☺️ I’m always concerned that I talk too much about my dog 😉
Thank you again for sharing your talent, Suggestion: Mayhaps a medium blue or medium green mat or pad would offer a bit of contrast to the pieces. Your light-colored board/table, skin, & the light reflecting back into the camera make it harder to see the actual piece. Still, I know you do great work & have a fun sense of humor.
Thank you for your observations. I’ll try a darker less reflective surface next time I film 😂
Hello, thanks for all the wonderful information.
I wad wondering if you have a video that shows how to finish off one of the lovely bracelets that you make?
Hello 👋 and thank you! I do have one video which shows two clasp ideas (for my Egyptian link bracelet), so that might help. 🥰
How do you add on the blue seed beads?
You simply make wire wrap loop sections, adding the little seed beads on. This might help How To Make Perfect Wire Wrap Loops - Wire Wrap Links
