@@moonstomper68 did not say peter does not know his stuff... just he sits there talking, whereas this guy shows you a live game and trading. Most people would rather see a live trade then someone sit talking about it
@@mh9tv He can waffle. i think it's different approaches. Ben talks you through strategies and hand holds. peter talks concept and you have to work out your own strategy based on this.
Regarding #4 Laying The Underdog: could we wait until the underdog scores the first goal of the match? The lay odds would then have to drop significantly and it could be laid low, right? If that were an approach, how long into the match should we wait?
hello thanks for all i 've got ultimate courses from one year there is no lay the draw method have you update it or not ? and lay the undedog ? very thanks
I was £50 down over 2 months by this week then made £40 by trading the friendlies* yesterday evening and ending up in profit on them all. Then I made another £12 today by trading 5 friendly matches this evening so I'm back where I started. I even messed up a few times but managed to do something on other markets to claw the losses back. Deciding to back Greece for £2 at 50 before they scored helped. *edit and on a brazilian cup game or two, I think.
In the Bristol City v Ipswich game, would it not have been more profitable to back the losing team for your £46 at odds of 38 then immediately cash out when Ipswich equalise at odds of 6.6??
No, you only see that now, because the goal was imediatly after he layed, if was a late goal from Ipswich, he wouldn't have chance to lock a profit. That was an option, if when you are watching the game live and you feel that can a goal of losing team at any moment
I don't use the match odds market a lot for trading these days. #4 I use sometimes in the Championship. #1 when I am watching a game and it is very obvious that the winning team is under big pressure. Best advice of these 40 minutes is: "You must go against the masses". So when all punters lay 0-0 at halftime I like to back it. Sometimes long losing runs, but the juicy winners reward you very well.
Been destroyed doing the lay the underdog. Bayern Munich at home to Armenia Bielfeld. Armenia took a two goal first half lead. Bayern then scored at the start of the second, then unbelievably Armenia went 3-1 up so I ducked out . Same night Spezia at home to AC Milan, Spezia took a 2-0 first half lead and won . AC Milan season away record W16 D1 L2. World cup qualifiers lay on Luxembourg away to The Republic of Ireland, they won. Same night Malta away to Slovakia, Malta raced into a 2-0 lead away from home, unbelievable. Are any of those four bad trades or just incredibly bad luck. I just stay away from it now.
That sounds like some incredible bad luck! I remember looking at that Bayern match and that exact scenario had rarely if ever come up in over 10 years of data. I think Bielefeld failed to win in the end also?
Well, the beauty of football isn't it? If you lay the underdog you have to be prepared for a big hit every now and then. I guess you layed the underdog either because you thought they would go a goal behind, and so did the market, therefore the high odds, or because you think they were underpriced, which in most cases they aren't. It's the boring way the trade/bet, but the value to back can most often be found in the underdog. I like to compare closing lines on BF with Pinnacles closing lines (Said to be the sharpest bookie you can find). The favourite is often very close priced, meanwhile you can find BIG value in Underdogs/ The Draw if you compare. To be profitbale you have to beat the market, find the best opportunities.
@@jonathanjacobsson7402 I am well aware about the merits of finding value in betting/trading. I was just saying that I had a ridiculous run of bad luck laying the underdog. Would you disagree?.
From the 5, only the 1 lay in the winning team that sound good, but you require experience:) I wonder why this guy never recommend matched betting its the best of all(0 risk and u can just sleep after put the bets)
Matched betting you are limited to the free bet amount. Trading you can use whatever amount of money depending on the size of bank you have. A lot of people (including Ben, the guys talking in the video) start with MB then move on to trading once gubbed from the bookies.

We didn’t include those in the premium course since they are very basic and already covered on this channel for free!
hi ben. great channel and by far the best. do you have exit strategies for all trades if they start to go wrong ?
If you’re going to cash out your back stake why do you lay it as well?
Laying it can capture the price you want, if you press the cash out button you are letting Betfair decide which price to cash you out on.
@@SportsTradingLife Ahhh okay. That makes sense then. Thank you!
estas estrategias sirven para 2024?

You lay Ural, okay, what happening if Ural take 0:2 lead, what to do now or its over, no way to take profit or be on zero overall?
Yes you are right
Would depend on the time of the match mainly, you have a few exit strategies available to you.

Hello! You are the best here.
Definitely, Lay the draw in the second half after 70 minutes is the best method for me.
Keep up the good work. Cheers
Exactly the same method I use
really? but I lose it more than I win.!

Why have you disabled comments on all your latest videos?? 🤔🧐
Too much spam and bot comments on RUclips these days. Not worth the effort sifting through all of them.
Or maybe it's true what they say and you are a fraud. No stop losses in half your videos pure gambling

@@tomjones9934 Would totally agree about that being bad luck for sure.
surely these are more bets than trades If you are staying in the market until the 89th/90th minute, you are potentially risking your entire stake
If you intend to trade out at any point then it is a trade.
@@SportsTradingLife and what return would you get for a 90th minute cashout? 95% loss i guess. That's such a poor way of trading
Which strategy are you referring to specifically?
@@SportsTradingLife lay the draw, the Las Palmas v Malaga game.
