It is okay to be white, because that’s how God made you. Just as it’s ok for me to be black because God made me that way. I’m grateful and so should you be.

Yeah I think it’s largely a right wing fantasy to play the victim of racism. Nobody said it’s bad to be white. And if they did, you should he secure enough to not feel threatened. We are the overwhelming majority of the country after all.

We used to sing an old Sunday school song years ago that went like this: Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world. We are all the same in God's eyes and He is no respecter of persons and He created us just as He wanted us to be for His own glory. I grew up in Chicago, went to school with and had friends from all kinds of ethnic/racial backgrounds and I didn't think a thing about it, and still don't today. Acts 17:26 Amen

Agreed and same here. Our parents, or at least grandparents, could have went to the same exact schools and not been the minority there. The reason it's happening is nefarious, evil and intended to ultimately destroy our country and the entire west. Doug is way off on this one. He is the blind squish of a pastor that he rightly rails against other pastors for being on other issues. And this is a big one. If we don't see this rightly, unite and win, we cannot win on anything else ultimately.
Pride is the worst of the Seven Deadly Sins. But Envy is the ugliest of all of them.
I propose not only is it okay to be white, but it is GOOD to be white, if that is what God made you.
I'm absolutely thankful to God given RICH varied European White heritage...

In the same way that I am proud of my daughter when she accomplishes something big to her I am also proud of my ancestors for their accomplishments.

In Europe we identify with our nation which is inherently identified with our race rather than skin colour. But when I identify with my nation, it is not identifying with the multitude of first, second and third-generation immigrants who are distinctly not part of the nation.

Biblically speaking, there is no such thing as "social justice." There is justice. There is injustice. That's it.
Disparities / Inequalities do not (necessarily) = injustice.

I wouldn't say I'd "envy" it. I do agree that's wrong. But I would be angry about what is a genuine injustice. AA is partiality. That is biblically wrong. I would never want to get a job or promotion or place in school JUST because I'm a woman and Puerto Rican. I would only want to get those things because I have met whatever objective qualifications were required.
And god cares about neither. Justice or injustice. He is completely neutral.

I don’t envy any other group of people nor do I harbor any ill will however there has to be something said about place and order.
We as Christians often like to think that we are all equal but we are clearly not.
If my daughter and her friend were in danger and I could only save one, I would choose my daughter.

I didn't see white in any list of characteristics in the Bible. I have no idea why anyone who believes in the Bible would define their identity by their skin color any more than their hair color or eye color.

One part here is stupid, wrong and entirety glaringly inconsistent with the approach and view Doug takes to other issues. It's almost like he's afraid to see the very obvious truth.
The whole part about the university example is what I'm talking about. Oh so you're white, in a country that was founded and built mostly by whites, and wanted to get into a long standing institution that was also founded and built by them. You worked very hard and dedicated your life to it, but you didn't get in. You were more qualified and you should have, but someone else got it because they had darker skin than you, even though their ancestors built nothing of the country, or the school you were denied from.
Well this is reality for millions of Americans and its not just at the most elite schools. It started there and we allowed it, so it has spread to all schools, institutions, most large companies, middle sized companies, many small businesses and positions in government from local dog catcher to supreme court justices.This is reality and for this to have happened it means that we are so deep into clown world that the termites have eaten through the floor boards and are now eating our bed posts as we sleep, to borrow and mix a couple metaphors from Doug. It's not going to stop there either, it's going to stop when there's none of us left and nothing left of the West or the first world.
But you shouldn't be too worried about it, you being envious is definitely a bigger deal than what's actually happening. You can notice and politely disagree while you put your head down and take it. But it's definitely not one of the biggest and most glaring problems we have as a nation and a people. Definitely not one of the biggest manifestations of evil we have in the world today, so just make sure you're not envious and everything will be alright. Definitely not a worthy thing fully grasp, untie over and turn over tables and cast people out triumphantly in righteous anger over. And it's definitely not entirely obviously necessary to do such a thing on this issue if we are to win on other important issues. Nope, not at all. Just make sure you aren't envious. That's the proper scale and perspective here. Doug is as big of a blind squish on this issue as he rightly rails against others for on other issues. And this one is huge. There is no victory on the others that he sees more realistically without a victory on this one.

Right, I don't know what Doug would say about me as a European having my country dramatically changed to the point where in less than 40 years the natives will be a minority in the country. I think it is liberal to think that is normal or acceptable, as destroying the nation by importing tens of millions of far-off outsiders with radically different characters, traits and cultures would not have been acceptable to any historical Christian.
I grew up as a white minority in one of these major European cities and certainly picked up on a lot of differences between us and them, which even research shows, different rates of mental illness, time preference, antisocial/psychopathic traits and so on. It's sad he has such a blind spot and likely assumes the only place this could come from is envy rather than real experience and genuine, well-founded concern for the future. Where are my kids going to call home? Most cities in my country are like Mogadishu. The same for the neighbouring countries. In schools they will be hated as outsiders and have that hatred justified by false narratives of colonialism and such. Seen it firsthand, spoken to dozens of others who have the exact same experiences hundreds of miles away from me over the years.
Where is my family supposed to call home? They are hated by the people around them and the state enforces this, and yet all of those people DO have a home to return to. Pakistan is still Pakistan. England isn't England anymore. Where is the pride or envy in any of this?

If only sensible Christians could lead the way and eschew the nonsense of speaking of "white" and "black," or engaging in this silly, fruitless rhetoric. Let's mature beyond this. The terms are so vague and even false (no one is per se white or black; we're all shades of brown). Are Norwegians and Italians both "white?" What does that even mean? Is a half and half French/Ugandan Canadian with light brown skin "black," while a deep, dark brown native Indian is not? These white/black distinctions are idiotic and divisive and should be abandoned. As a pinkish tan American of mixed European heritage I despise being labeled "white" and I refuse to describe anyone as "white" or "black."
It's not "okay" to keep thinking and and speaking of people being "white" or "black." It's shallow, and lacks substantial meaning, and perpetuates false narratives.

I actually don't thank God for being "white" because I have never perceived myself as white. That is a designation given to me by others who tend to see the world in those categories. I am thankful to God for my olive skin that tans very easily, and which ends up looking so brown in the summer that when I was a kid others thought I must have some other racial background (Arab or Hispanic or Native). I am also thankful for the Midwestern and small-town heritage I grew up with. I am also thankful for the blue-collar hillbilly background of my ancestors who date back in the USA to the 17th and 18th centuries. I am thankful for my direct ancestors who gave me a great heritage of hard work and many long and successful marriages.
You see the "white" designation has never fit me in any way except as the way that someone else sees me. Most of my heritage goes back to the British Isles, and I thank God for that heritage (I am an anglophile!). That being said the real living history of my ancestry is of blue-collar Appalachian, Midwestern, and Western cultures. Those people happen to be white, but are pretty far removed from other "white" people from coastal regions or cities who have much different heritages.

What is “white”? I descend from areas of Europe that were basically untouched by the Angles, the Saxons and the Romans, and completely untouched by Reformers (the tribes and faith that made up the culture we typically think of as “white”). Celts, Picts, Bell Beakers, and Moors are my ancestors. By I am fair skin and light eyes so I am “white”? That term itself seems racist and does zero justice to the varied cultural, social, religious, and political traditions of the land mass we today call “Europe.”
It’s like calling all dark skinned people “black” even though, culturally, West Indies is totally different from Zimbabwean culture which is totally different from Sudanese culture. It’s racist to lump these very different people groups into color binaries - that in and of themselves aren’t binary. We are all shades of brown…. Only albinos are actually white - and even they often have a pink tint. And the only time people have truly black skin is when it’s been charred by severe 3rd degree burns. Healthy humans range from very very light brown to very very dark brown and every shade in between, with various peach and olive tints… races don’t actually exist. Cultures and people group separation exist. But not some immutable set of “races.”
