Hello Mr. Wilson, I am a joyful reader of the canon press corpus and listener to the various Christ Church’s Authors on RUclips. While striving to be reformed and reform my family and church community I stumbled upon the fact that at Christ Church the whole family seems to attend the Sunday service. This practice is very foreign to the church I live in, but a beautiful sight and practice. Are there any resources on the principles behind this practice and advice for practice application? I'm not sure how this ended up in my recommended videos, but sir, you have my attention. I've watched this video many, many times. I purchased Rules for Reformers and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. Until then, perhaps a part dos? How does a "post-mill" prepper differ from a typical rapture prepper?
Media focus on people prepping for the apocalypse, which is a bit irrational, but it seems to me that generally, trying to be ready for hard times shouldn't be conflated with surrender. Of the Church as a whole is ready and capable to deal with emergency, then it seems to me it is much easier to advance in the emergency.

May any such wright of this day be filled with Wisdom from on high, and perhaps a revenant from those who occupied Independence Hall those many years ago.
You are funny. Thank you for helping me to laugh. I heard Johnny Mac quote you the other day. Are you two friends? Can a dispensationalist and a post meal Christian be friends? Now that takes a level of maturity that I found refreshing and watching he and RC Sproul labor together for the Gospel. God bless you Brother!
Of course! I've found MacArthur to be helpful on many issues even though I disagree with his dispensationalism and his take on baptism. MacArthur and Sproul appeared together at many events and seemed to have a great relationship despite their differences. Mature Christians ought to be able to heatedly and passionately debate their differences and still at the end of the day embrace each other as brothers in Christ. Unfortunately these days, there is a wicked belief that we ought to completely reject anyone who doesn't agree with us on every minute detail. It was funny when it was leftists eating their own, but that belief crept into the church and is now causing division at a time when we especially need unity. That has never been the Biblical way.
I’d much rather listen to a 285 pound bearded canary in this world wide coal mine , than to any presidential decree or cdc directive that might order my family to turn in our Bibles, firearms and wait for the knock at our door for “help”.
Love John MacArthur but he was a late comer to the stand against the closing of the church. There were hundreds of churches that never once closed their door and took the same stand based on the same principles. At first Grace community church closed and the Elders communicated their disagreement with those churches that stayed open. Now to GCC and MacArthurs credit, once they made it right they became a great leader in resisting for other churches
I was actually surprised when MacArthur stood up. He has always held Romans 13 in a way that gives way too broad authority to the state, so his earlier position was consistent with that. MacArthur has always struck me as willing to listen to people that he disagrees with. I wonder if these changing times have given him a new perspective on what Paul and Peter really meant and why the apostles that wrote about submitting to the government did things that got them arrested.
Brother Larry, are you saying hundreds of churches stayed open in LA area in California? I believe that it matters some and I give JMac lots of leeway in this for that reason, especially when it was a brief time of closing to assess the truth of the “pandemic”.
@@skipsmominhouston yes sir. First of all I highly respect John MacArthur. Let me just say this if you look at his reasons for staying open as stated by the elder board of the church, those very reasons would Have kept them from closing even if the situation was dire. He said it was not the authority of those in the church to close down the assembly of God’s people. As for churches in Southern California and the LA basin, yes there were many churches that stayed open, including mine. I am an IFB church and as far as I know only one IFB Church closed down. I know of 12 churches in Simi Valley alone that never closed their doors, 16 of them in the inland empire and the list goes on. As for John MacArthur once he got on the bandwagon he truly did become a leader to help many other pastors continue the fight as well as other pastors to make a correction in their direction
@@skipsmominhouston By the way brother skip one more thing. You can access what the elder board wrote on why they were keeping their doors open at their church website

To hate someone is worse than a murderer, so until you can learn what true love actually is you'll never be right with God no matter how hard you try!
I’d much rather listen to a 285 pound bearded canary in this world wide coal mine , than to any presidential decree or cdc directive that might order my family to turn in our Bibles, firearms and wait for the knock at our door for “help”.

Their priorities are very different than mine.
Here's another geek joke for you:
"There are only 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those who don't."
Maranatha!
And my favorite:
There are two types of people: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data,
These comments made my day. God bless your souls!
There are three kinds of people in the world. Those who can count and Those who cannot. 😅🤣
@@oracleoftroy Good observation: I would say that Pastor Mac. is more balanced today about Romans 13 then he was in his former teaching of it.
Great message, was wondering where the video of you saying it is. This video has you saying different words on the video than what the audio has.
Although this Athenian Greek does not agree with your position on the mask and vaccine thing, I do appreciate everything around the issue. I do agree with the rest.Or most of the rest. Great mind, good humor, and so much insight. Blessings.
Sludge layers 😂😂

Confess your sin! I agree go to private confession and confess your sin and receive absolution.
By the way, I'm a civil servant that has not gotten the jab. So you know what is coming for me.
How about publishing a Biblical statement that may be included in an official request for religious exemption. One that invokes the spirit of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and makes an appeal to the Gospel of Christ Jesus and finishes up with an empationed call to repentance.
Coming from your pen, I think it would go a long way towards making an impact for Christ...even if I still lose my job.
Maranatha!
The unvaccinated account for 98.8% of Covid deaths in the UK this year... so yah, we know what's coming for you.. you gonna be hearing the gospel first hand lol
@@aallen5256 What a terribly evil thing to say. Is your heart really that blackened by hate for your fellow man? Repent, man, you don't want to meet Christ with that kind of malice filling your heart.
And as for "hearing the Gospel first hand," I have no fear of dying. Ask youself that same question.
Maranatha!
@@jackuber7358 Um as discussed, you and your unvaccinated cohort are the ones taking active steps towards meeting Christ.. say hi to Bob Enyart for me! Also Marc Bernier, Phil Valentine and Dick Farrell!
You may have no fear of dying, but please take some responsibility for the incredible strain on hospital staff and health services which you will sooner or later provide on your way out. Think of the ICU beds! Pure selfishness.
@@aallen5256 Well done you caved into Government distilled fear
A round of applause 👏 to you 🙄
Or even worse your peddling government distilled fear! 👏
Thank you for ignoring all those going to die from all be untreated conditions that have backed up over the last 18months
Well done for promoting propaganda let alone very dodgy stats, having a narrow little mind does that I guest.
And well done for politicising a virus that leaves the vast majority of people very very much alive
Well done for crashing the economy that pays for your overblown bureaucratic monster
And especially well done for being a complete and utter little troll.
Enjoy your Nihilism
My 8th Army Veteran Grandfather told me that he didn’t know why he bothered fighting for 6 years due to the state of the Country
Lord knows what he’d think of pathetic little weasels like you who aren’t fit to lick that generations boots!
@@seanmoran6510 right now those with untreated conditions are waiting for icu beds and health services that are being taken up by the unvaccinated..
Sorry that sharing stats suggests a narrow mind to you.
Well done for undermining the millions of lives lost worldwide. Sure it leaves people alive, it also puts people on ventilators. It also killed many many grandparents, and it’s those vulnerable people who you are putting at risk
P.S It’s not healthy to lick boots. Particularly if unvaccinated.
This is what the Lord says to me: “Go, post a lookout and have him report what he sees. When he sees chariots with teams of horses, riders on donkeys or riders on camels, let him be alert, fully alert.” Isaiah 21
Love the video, almost fell out of my chair "there are 3 kinds of people..." I'm stealing that one!
I am dutch, but not your 'dutch uncle'. Very good exhortation. '...we may be moving in a time that protection takes priority over to provide over your family...'
God called Joseph and Mary out to Egypt to escape Herod. Sometime it is good to leave, like your forefathers left Europe, and bless a new land by going there.
