There’s something that always looks awesome about freshly primed Gunpla parts..
in an alternate Timeline where Char became part of the federation and destroyed a bunch of Zeon Ships with his red Gundam.
It's actually from Blood of Zeon for PS1. You can steal the Gundam on the Zeon side of the game.
Or he stole the plans, zeon produced their own gundarium plated monster and char was the only pilot capable of flying it, giving Amuro a fight of his life, and likely ending the feddys.

I love in-process videos like this! You can always learn from other modelers and apply that knowledge to your own builds. And I like the fact that you do lots of custom projects, that gives me inspiration!
I really like your simple modifications. I mean just removing seamlines, adding a few panel lines and some minor customization. Other channels feature tons of effort in modifying their kits to look so badass (and they're cool, dont get me wrong) but works like these just does it better for me when i wanna watch satisfying builds. Maybe because it's also the level I can achieve for now given my job. So thanks for this, keep up the AWESOME vids !
hi there! yeah that is what i wanna do with my channel. because not a lot of people can do crazy customization on their gunpla. to me, even with simple customization, you guys can make great gunpla custom builds! tackle the fundamental first. cleaning the nubmarks properly. removing seamlines. great colour scheme. decals placement. im sure you guys can do it too! :D thank you so much for your support to my channel! i hope you will like more gunpla custom from me in the future!
Just how papa itsagundam once said, if you dont paint a kit, it will look like a toy of a 20 meter tall war machine, if you paint it, even if its the same color scheme, it would now look like a scale model of a 20 meter tall war machine

When I get one of these specific RX-78-2 models I plan on repainting it like the RX-78-1 the black white and red color scheme, Thankfully the only modification I really have to do Is the slots in the ankle armor And move the shoulder mounted cannon To the right side.
I built my first kit, an Origin Rx-78-2 just recently. I found the head jewel constantly popped off unless I glued it on, but maybe I was just an incompetent builder.

I can hear a baby mumbling on the back... I have a almost 1 yo daughter and feels like I don't have time for gunplas anymore (I even have a PG Unicorn , RG Freedom brand new to start). But hearing the baby on the back in your video and you still doing what you love makes me want to go back to gunpla. Time to undust the boxes. Thanks.
I made something similar (but definitely with less detail, I'm not so skilled yet :) ) but using the entry grade RX-78-2 to me it's an awesome base (given the price) for customizations
Amazing as always and so nice to see a more bold colour. I love your usual muted matte pastel shades but it's nice to see some bold colour too, love it.

Nice build. I've got an OG PG in my stash that I need to build but really don't want to go the obvious route, so I may customize mine. One tip from experience: I wouldn't use Tamiya Panel Liner with Bandai plastic. For whatever reason, it makes Bandai plastic very brittle. I experienced this with a Bandai AT-ST but then forgot about it until I recently started working on an MG Astray Red Frame. Had it almost entire painted, then panel-lined it starting at the hips, and the next day the hip sockets broke. Just a word to the wise...
It happens because of the solvent used in Tamiya panel liner. I've had a better time using mr color weathering paints as panel liner
He who cuts all parts first before assembling is a true 'Master Builder'. If I cut more than 6 at a time, I'll have to throw in the towel.

EA, I only just recently came across your videos, and i have to say you do an amazing job with your kits, its a real inspiration for me. I especially enjoy listening to the calm music over the build. I have one question for you. With the bottles of the thinned Mr Hobby paints, How long will the keep pre-thinned? I'm thinking of doing it myself, But i don't use all the colors that I have on a regular basis.

Great work. I watched a lot of your videos, and was wondering do you use mr surfacer 1500 for all priming. I too started using it and love it. It just seems a lot of ppl use 1000 and say that 1500 has no fillers, it works for me. Just curious.

You should add the stickers on the weapon lenses. Without nothing looks strange.
Kinda hate the red on red shield ... otherwise a gorgeous mobile suit, not sure why the shield doesn't work for me .. the red of suit looks great how you have it. Maybe if the rim was the carbon black used to accent the main body? just a thought & personal opinion ... could be the shield is kinda basic compared to the rest but that shield always seems basic, I personaly prefer the shields shaped like the GM Sniper II's
