Hi Emily, I love your art. I am always impressed with your choice of colors. I would never think to use violet or blue for a skin tone. I am a member of your Watercolor Mastery and have watched many, many of your videos. I am working on a watercolor of my great niece to give as a gift to my brother. It's just not coming out the way I want it to so I'm very frustrated. I wish I could show it to you for your suggestions. Many thanks for being so generous with your time for all of us.
I love what you are doing with them.(the colours) & how they end up looking like exactly like skin....beautiful young girl! Fantastic work. Thank you for showing us how & for sharing your talent!
Emily, would it be possible for you to make a tutorial on how you painted her hair? I'm working on a portrait of a mother and baby, and I've got the skin tones right, but I totally messed up the hair! Thank you!
Oh wow, this is so beautiful, strong light but person is not then hidden in darkness. Lovely reference and setting, and epic end result 🎉 😊

Coming a little late to the party….just ‘stumbled’ upon you work. I find it lovely…terrific edge control….
Many thanks! Glad you found my channel!
This is great, wish I could’ve seen the part where you worked on her hair though, really detailed hair can be challenging.

Great idea!
Beautiful!!
Thank you! 😊
What tool/brush did you use for the eye liner? It’s so tiny! 👍🏼😊
🌹🌹🌹
Also May I ask what pallet you are using?
Yes, I listed it in the description, but it's the Original John Pike Palette.
Is violet and blue always used for shadows? I see many people use them but I'm afraid.
I wouldn't say "always" but... yes, often! Give it a try some time--you might surprise yourself! 😀
Beautiful!
