      Bought my ghostbed in 2020 and here we are in almost 2024 and im starting to sink in the middle! Im only 190lbs so this is disappointing but ive ordered a hybrid DreamCloud and its on its way!!! Hopefully i have better luck with the more durable potcketed coils 🙏🙏🙏

      Diffently get a hybrid mattress next time . Having 500 to a thousand coils in it makes the difference in longevity without sinking . I had a Bueaty rest I forget the edition but it was the top tear model . I'm just now 7 years layer starting to slightly notice dipping . I'm 240 lbs highly recommend getting a hybrid . Yeah there more pricey but you get what you pay for . Solid foam mattress aren't good I had one and never again until the technology changes my mind !

      Same. We are on our second purple. This one is a hybrid. Has coils under the purple grid. The purple grid wears down and sags and gives more quickly. The center of the bed is much more firm and supportive than the sides where we sleep.

      I just got my warranty approved on my purple bed. I’ve had the mattress for 3 years and I’m sinking in roughly 3 inches. Also along the sides of the bed, things are starting to come up from out of the mattress. When taking pictures to get my warranty approved, the purple rubber parts were ripped badly. Maybe I just got a defect because I know a lot of people that swears by it.

    Every mattress that I've bought has dipped and sagged very early on and I'm barely 140lbs. Mattresses are not made the same amymore. Ive wasted so much money and still looking for a mattress.

    • @stephaniecrothers8482
      @stephaniecrothers8482 3 месяца назад +3

      You've got to spend money to get something that lasts. Spending 800 or less on bed will result in a "you get what you pay for" comment.
      Memory foam doesn't last more than 5 years but Hybrid models that use foam AND Innersprings last 8-10+ years.
      Also, most people like middle of the road on firmness, about a 6 on a rating scale, which, in a lot of mattress companies, is called Luxury Firm, Premier, or just medium firm.
      Don't just go out and buy a mattress. Do the homework. This guy and Naplab are my favorite go tos when looking for a new mattress, which I am currently doing for my husband and myself. We've used these videos to purchase new mattresses for our kids in the past. Nary a complaint.

    I ended up getting a Queen Nectar Hybrid Premier and I’m surprised the brand didn’t even break top 10. I do have a back injury and primarily a back sleeper, but the mattress feels firmer and doesn’t quite cradle me like I thought it would.

    BEFORE you consider a new mattress check that your bed is level. I recently bought a new expensive king size mattress to fix my back pain and it was as bad as ever. I had an aha moment and put a long spirit level on the mattress in all directions; it was sloping over half an inch on my side and maybe 1/4" top to bottom. We had our bedroom re-tiled a year ago, about when my pain started. We removed the mattress and checked the frame and it too was out by the same amount. I used beer mats to level up as best I could; voila, cured. Once the mattress settles down I'll replace the beer mats with wooden shims.

    Anybody recommending a Zinus Mattress is getting paid to say it or is getting some compensation for it. Zinus customer support and their warranty are both a joke. I have a one of their mattresses and have been trying for over over 6 months to get warranty service from them. Since you can't see the indentations they don't want to cover it. My mattress has areas where it's less firm and other areas that are firm so it creates bumps that put pressure on parts of my body. I have 9 herniated discs in my back and it hurts when one of those bumps presses on certain areas of my body, so I have to constantly move around during the night trying to find a place where the bumps don't hurt me. After retiring from the Air Force the least I want to have at night is a peaceful sleep. What else can we do to get Zinus to honor their warranty?
