If you're in New York go to Croton Falls one of the best places to fish in New York in my opinion and there's even a little creek that flows into where you can catch smallmouth

Wish I had known y'all would be on LI, could have shared a few spots in eastern Suffolk County.
Go to central Texas and do a creek mission for Guadalupe bass! They are just like smallies in creeks and they are the state fish.

The smallmouth fishing is some of the best there is for large fish, very good largemouth, muskies, pike, the nations best wild native brook trout, Great Lake trout, the nations only native populations landlocked Atlantic salmon, and the nations only wild arctic charr! Whatever happens anywhere will be awesome with it though!!!
