Hi all! Its been a while since I posted a new lore video and it was quite intense half of a year for me. But I'm still alive and kicking! 😄 So once I had time, I decided not to end this year on the empty note, but share with you something interesting upon coming X-mas. A story of a very important character in DND universe - Karsus of Netheril. Happy Festive Season to everyone, think big and act big like Karsus in the new year!🌲

I looked just yesterday. I thought RUclips wasn't showing me your stuff. I then rewatched a few of my favorites while doing some chores! Great to have you back

I've been looking into Karsus after reading the Nethril trophy and this is the only video that talks about him being actually mad. 😂
They are all like "wow🤩 he was so powerful and cool that he almost became a god" it's like the Nethrese live on. They weren't concerned about the death count either 😂

Best description was "Karsus decided to become a God and then it was everyone´s problem". Happy holidays and better new year.

Karsus, to me is one of the more interesting of the Netheril arch mages… Just the events that his actions ushered into the world… His actions are still being felt, on Toril to this day👍👍
Thank you for this, and yes you have been missed. I hope your Christmas is an amazing one!!!🌲🥰🌲

1:35 - There was absolutely no training in "divine arts" in Netheril. The Netherese did not worship any of Faerun's gods, not even Mystryl. Every priesthood was driven out of Netheril. What was your source for this?

Hi, Netheril Empire of Magic, p9. "Young Karsus found himself learning spells almost inherently, as though he always knew them. The local priesthood of Mystryl took an immediate interest in the young man and trained him. They tried to indoctrinate him into their church hierarchy, but he wasn’t interested".

@@TellmeLore - Hmmm... I'll be damned twice then. I applaud you for finding that gem, though its theme still contradicts some of the other resource material.
Perhaps AJ Pickett may have overemphasized the Netherese hostility toward the gods when he made his Netheril series.
      In any case, thank you!
