LEGO just had a HUGE Launch for their Summer Wave! I was really excited for LEGO Speed Champions 2021 76905 Ford GT heritage and Ford Bronco R. However, Here in north america it appears LEGO ran into some issues

Pretty ironic that the lego set for the ford bronco (which is continually delayed), is now also delayed

I was surprised to find out, that neither WalMart or Target had the new sets. I didnt think the new wave was lego store exclusive as others weren't in the past.
I ordered the Ford Bronco set on Walmart with no issues.

@@iancrowley4833 I feel you. I'm usually always busy or have to work when there's a new release. For example, thank God I ordered the bugle as soon as it went live online because I knew I wasn't going to be able to make it in time to pick it up at the lego store.
I visit my local Lego store on Monterrey Mexico and all the Lego Speed champions including the Ford Bronco were there at display

Thanks for the update as I also checked the store here in Canada, and saw it was completely removed. On the upside delayed is way better than outright cancelled for whatever reason Lego likes to dream up.

Really informative video, and glad I was one of people able to preorder (?) it last night when I wasn’t supposed to. Just frustrated Lego had that June 1 date up for weeks and didn’t correct it, when it sounds like they had every reason to believe it wasn’t correct.

I drove 1hr to the lego store and found they were all there except the GT and Bronco. We asked the employees and they said it didnt get in. I was disappointed.

NGL the title of this video made me fear the product was permanently cancelled like the ill fated technic V22 Osprey thing or that they’res some intractable design flaw. Which hit hard because this set more than any of the others had me excited.

I know that people saw some sets a few weeks back at Target and Walmart but that was a mistake on the stores... They have all since been removed.

Nice looking set. I was looking at it last week in the store here in Spain. The corvette set was really nice but a 40% price increase in Spain on that set.

@@BriQFoundation typical Lego pricing for Europe but might have something to do with License agreements. The same is for the Lego Speed Champion set with the Jaguar formula E. USA is $29 and Spain Lego is 49 Euros = $58

I went into the Leeds UK leg store and they had about 5 Ford sets on display. They said they'd sold out on release and had a restock this week. I picked one up for myself

Also... You see that in Europe they have a limit of 5 vs 3 here in the states. Plus, FORD is an American company. Why would they produce more of 76905 in Europe and forget about North America

Been Banging on the Many Many Many LEGO \ Site Failures for Months now..this continually repeats over and over. Stock is Either available for 30 Seconds for 2 People or its Sold Out\Not in Stock\maybe a Back Order. Had pre Orders this year that went month or more into, then suddenly cancelled right before it released saying sorry ..we suck again, and it was tethered to a GWP. This is a Sad state of affairs. For some reason the Marketing Dept \Web Dev Dept\and manufacturing are all working independently of one another. Does anyone think the Management Team at LEGO is awake at the wheel or they on Auto Pilot waving at all the US Fans everyone (who for some reason keep coming back thinking, its changed now for sure right? its improved they deserve my Money) ready and willing to spend our hard earned money on their poorly managed product. At the END of the Day Right? that has to be what it is because the Design Teams for many LEGO Product Lines have been KILLLING IT!! with great sets, and makes my wallet ache...right up to the point of failed stock again. Wallet **Sighs** Relief. Why, WHY does this keep happening? Do they think no one could possible be this interested in the sets? Does manufacture suck because they need to hire more staff and no one wants a JOB at LEGO? Where do we begin to help resolve theses issues ? They have INCREDIBLE market awareness is insane right now, has to be all time high, though one wonders for How Long? THE VIP SHOP !! what a Sh*% Show that is, that's Rage Worthy right there. The Solutions seem sooo SIMPLE right? Maybe stop tagging release dates if you continuously run short on Supply and say, know what we are taking Pre orders for this and can meet the demand, not whops we can't so lets bomb everyone's order and say it was a mistake or error, they can come back later. Its Disappointing and it all Starts with good leadership, something LEGO is clearly in desperate need of, my opinion.

Hey man, i'm from South Africa and we had all the Speed Champions available on June 1st.
Why buy it now anyway? The sets will be cheaper in 3-6 months after they get discounted on amazon.
They will go up actually its been years since we had some speed champions they will sell fast and definitely if anything will go up in price
@@macdaddy2344 nah. Look at all of the speed champions sets that were launched in the previous wave. They’re all 10-20% off the original price, depending on the retailer. Old / discontinued speed champions yes will go up. But these will stay at MSRP and then gradually go down in price later in the year. Id bet anything on it.
I got all the new speed sets last night in store, went straight to build the bronco and it looks great.

I'm in New Zealand, and there are heaps of the Ford Bronco sets on the shelves of all the stores here. Interestingly, I've yet to see the Toyota Supra in any store, but all the other Speed Champions sets are there.

I'm still waiting for my Daily Bugal. They say it was shipped and the label was created. It has been over 5 days now. The tracking number just says label created. Never arrived. I placed my order midnight, way before it was sold out.

I decided to only buy 2 SC sets plus the cool new BatMobile, all seems fine; however this specific set wasen't one i picked. Hopefully it's just short term!

I live in Portugal and have ordered this set yesterday. Apparently all went normal. The only thing I noticed was that I ordered the #10289 Bird of Paradise set at the same time, and this latter has already said to be shipped, while the Ford set is still 'in warehouse'. Yet, as far as I know, this latter has been available all the time in the (european?) site since 00:00 1st June.
June 02 evening update: LEGO e-mailed me saying that the Ford set has been shipped today. Apparently, all is normal on this side of the Atlantic... :)

Yeah they launched it early. They should not have moved up the launch date on a product they didn't have enough stock of.
I received my Ford gt heritage and bronco set yesterday and found a print error on page 61 step 87 of the bronco manual it has an extra part listed in the parts needed for this step.
That's probably why it was delayed, or one of the reasons.
i'd better have this problem than real important life problems. lucky you.

Apparently this morning only North America didn’t have this set on the site while everyone else did. I hope it comes by June 21st so I can get it and the elva and jesko so I can get the free vip set but I do know there is one seller on bricklink with 3 of the sets for $48.96 each from Hong Kong

I must be one of the lucky 200 that got their order in. I got my confirmation email and update a few hours after I placed my order. I ordered the other five speed champions sets separately. I looked on the LEGO site and it now says available August 1st.
I'm glad that LEGO has finally put the SC Ford GT/Bronco back up on their website. However, I don't see a specific date like you stated. It still says Coming Soon.

Back to the video, and considering you even say that some of your friends said it was in stock, but when you checked it was in back order, makes it look like it sold out fairly quick (which is not surprising in the American market, where there’s probably more interest in these models).
Maybe postponed means something different in the USA. In the UK, it would mean it wasn’t even available for sale and the release was delayed.
Considering it was available for some period on the USA, I reiterate: where is that information coming from that has been postponed?
@@OscarOlim I stated they said it was available for back order. Like I also stated, a LEGO REPRESENTATIVE said that it was a “glitch” that the system allowed the set to even be allowed to be purchased at all. The 200 orders that went through were a mistake. The set was supposed to be available June 18th not the 1st. So AGAIN, like I said it’s DELAYED. Please learn the definition of clickbait when I LITERALLY discuss this topic in my video.
@@BriQFoundation You're contradicting yourself there. If it was a glitch, and it should have never been sold on the 1st, and the availability was the 18th of June, then it wasn't delayed. It was mistakenly put for sale sooner than it should, that's not the definition of delayed. So either it was to be sold on the 1st and was delayed, or wasn't to be sold on the 1st, which means it wasn't delayed. Both statements can't be true since they contradict each other.
I get it, your job is to make things sound long and controversial for the clicks.

@@OscarOlimYou have to be trolling... Lego literally had it listed as JUNE 1st on their website as the release date. It launched everywhere else but North America. They realized they didn’t have enough inventory too late and DELAYED THE LAUNCH to the 18th.
