Weird how most comments just post the lyrics that are in the video. Like, guys, don't you have anything else on your mind hearing or singing this? Anything?
I found it shocking how much more this is touching me, now that a) I finally understand the lyrics about the GI's that I always thought was a word I didn't know, and b) how I'm tearing up singing it myself, and not cuz I can't really hit the high notes that good!
For real, what a sad fate these women endure. I rather not think about how many can completely relate to this text from experience, even in todays world.
