There will always be spots for supporting roles that prefer acting and comedic timing. It's also required for you to sing well, but not as powerful as these girls.
Rachel Ann's voice is astonishing. Even when she reaches the very top of her range she is still in complete control. I have the Blu-ray of the 25th Anniversary of Miss Saigon and, for me, the highlights are the actual performance of Movie in My Mind by Rachel Ann and Eva and then the gala where Rachel Ann sings Movie with Lea Salonga. That is incredible and I love Lea's reactions when Rachel Ann hits her high notes. As she said when the number was finished "God Damn, that woman is good". As for Eva, for a not yet 20 year old to crush the role of Kim in the West End and then get nominated for a Tony on Broadway are truly rare achievements. Her voice is superb as is her acting. She sells the roll of Kim completely. Both of these woman have unlimited horizons in theater.
Noblezada has improved a lot since her West End outing. Her Broadway performances were leaps and bounds better than her very karaoke-like singing and forced acting on the West End.

Eva's voice is a voice of an angel while Rachel's voice is a voice of woman who's tormented of circumstance. These two women are amazing. Their voices compliments well with one another, I will treasure it here inside my heart.

yy w. A beautiful voice is a gift from God, our Creator; governments have nothing to do with it. But talents can be encouraged to be developed at home and in school.
I'm up for English education but not with singing. Because Philippines government itself doesn't teach Filipinos singing techniques, we commonly have our singing ability by singing everyday. We doesn't have any vocal coach in here to teach the poverty
I remember watching Rachelle Ann Go, singing on Philippine TV many years ago, and thinking "if only she could polish her singing more, she will be way up there!" And then Ms Saigon happened for her.
I just watched this non-stop for more than 20 times! WOW! Rachelle just murdered this song to perfection! And Eva was amazing too! :)
Rachelle was so young when she started her celebrity status in the Philippines, she was only 16-17 years old when she won the talent show where she joined that's why she still had a big room for improvement when she was still here in the Philippines. Also, she was constantly put up against Sarah Geronimo who is a superstar here in the Philippines, she's always been put 2nd and not the top priority of Viva, her management. Good thing she moved out to the Philippines and flew to London and later on to New York where her talent is appreciated more by many people.

"Miss Saigon" the story is set during the Vietnam War in Bangkok. Thailand. The song Movie in my mind was first sang by the fantastic star of the show the great Leah Salonga also from the Philippines when she was I believe only 17 years old but please don't quote me on it. The musical Miss Saigon has given me so much pleasure watching and listening to the brilliant singing by many cast members. Well done to each and every artist. All total PROFESSIONALS.
