Probably I'll make few moew videos about STL and Mesh, but currently I'm writing a book and don't have free time for new videos. In the book there will be a whole chapter about working with imported models.

I HAVE AN STL FILE THAT I CANNOT EDIT, PLEASE HELP ME

Some of the downloaded STL files are too small and this could be the reason to have an error with ScanTo3D. In such case you should use normal import scale up the model, save as STL and try to import larger. Another option is to scale the STL in slicer like Orca. Check my other videos to see all import options. ruclips.net/p/PLdfEJ9NcD36TGUlGpZh8KHKjJRnK_sZ9k
