I’ve had zero issues! Granted, my car is garage kept so the only time it sees water is when I wash it or if I’m caught in a rain storm when I’m driving
hats off to you sir, this is the best tutorial on how to install these. I got the fish arrow / lambo design for my XSE. same set up. I got the same paper w chinese instructions lol. The only other knock is the small white letters, or some sort of a serial number at the corner of each tail light. So stupid, i tried using goo gone to fade it out, it worked a little. But i think its just engraved on there. Did yours come like that too?
Hey man, quick question, that white jumper harness that you mentioned that connects the reverse light and the new taillight .. did that come with the order of the new tailights?? Recently bought the 2022 Camry TRD and am from jersey as well.. am looking into getting similar lights from HIREV, but don't wanna have to splice any wires or do anything that could potentially void my warranty lol
@@SEsGarage okay sweet, I didn’t realize hirev has certain taillights that are plug and play for all Camrys and others that you’d have to splice some wiring.. but I love her. Been wanting since they announced the TRD 2020 back in early 2019.. and I’m in Monmouth county

Ah it looks sick one of my prongs for my inner light was broken had to take the back roads home but with customer support hoping to get it all situated!
So.. how did you get the tail light off without taking the bumper off? Theres 2 more 10mm under there. Did you snap the oem tail light plastic to do it?
I have the TRD with everything connected, but is not that bright and on the app I set up all max (bright ), and I was wondering If I need the harness adapter to get it brighter (my didn't include a harness adapter).
good job! I dynomat and Kilmat in my trunk and now the deck lid will not go up on its own when I hit release. I wonder if I get the TRD Springs it will lift the deck?! (Since the TRD spoiler is heavier than the XSE spoiler!)

Hey, informative video, since you where Hyundai tech so you may have idea about KIA, i have 2012 Sportage with Panoramic roof issue is that auto open dose not work i have replaced the switch and resetting it so may times is still dose not open one touch, the only way i can have it open is by resetting the roof, you know (push and hold close position until you hear a click then release then press and hold close position once more for few sec to start open then close roof) do you have any idea what could case this not to operate by one touch open?
Anyone know how to fix the taillight? My left one doesn’t turn on the reverse lights, but now it’s stuck on reverse even when I put it in park or drive
So you don’t have to splice any wires? I saw a video where the guy was splicing a red wire into the license plate positive wire. That red wire was part of the white jumper harness. I have a 22 TRD so I wonder if the splicing only has to do with anything below 2021
Do u know why when installing the xse taillights on a se trd or le non Led it comes wit that same white wire for plug in play but there is also a white wire that splits from that that u have to plug into a positive on the car ? Is that just maybe cus this one u use here alredy has the positive built into that white plastic piece or is it just that the xse lights require different kind of wiring with using a positive?
@@SEsGarage awesome! I ordered from a different company but the same style. And on other YT videos I see guys splicing the taillight wire to the white wire that comes in the box. The TRD and SE have the same connections I believe.
Question sir. In regards to the plastic trim pieces which doesn't match the curvature of the after market tail light assembly. Since there is a gap and doesnt sit flush anymore, are you having issues with water getting between the plastic and tail light housing as water does enter the trunk jam (door jam) area?
@@SEsGarage Good Morning Sir. Do you mean you are not having issues with water creeping between the plastic molding and the tail light assembly? That was a pretty big gap you pointed out in the video so I'm just curious before I do the install. Please clarify, Thank you, and have a great day!
when the car FIRST STARTS UP WITH THE HEADLIGHTS AUTO ON, SO ITS DARK OUTSIDE AND LIGHTS ARE AUTO ON IT DOES THAT ANIMATION, OR IF U REMOTE START THE CAR, IT WILL DO THE ANIMATION. JUST MAKE SURE Lights are set to AUTO or on, or remote start it, I have the same ones on my camry and THEY LOOK SICK AF!
Yea I installed them this morning and the animation worked at first...now the brake light(red)animation doesn't work anymore....tried to put it on "Auto" and the other setting and still nothing!....kinda disappointed because I was waiting to see the animation at night...
@@jayfrenchiee you got a trd right ? Do they look bright during the day to? Or just at night? Mines u can only see that they’re on during the night.. or before sunset
@@matheushipolito3933 Yeah I got a TRD. They're pretty bright during the day and night. Only thing is since they're not OEM you have to physically turn them on during the day. At night they automatically turn on. I didn't know that at first lol

Since the car doesn't have duel heating does the heater still heat the car good in the winter and also does the ac cool the car good in the summer

Can I order a new tail light and use the same bulb and wires my tail light is just cracked so I am replacing it

Your best bet would be to compare part numbers and see if they’re using the same spring

They do! They make a tri beam light for these, they are super pricey though
@@SEsGarage Unfortunately I have the avalon trd, Very limited mods for it.
The other headlights available are OEM XSE LED headlights or the triple beam "Lexus" LED headlights but are about $800 USD.
Mine was the supersonic red/ black colorway. Is it still a TRD if it has all of the common signs of a TRD but doest say it?

Have you tried to lube the tracks? Sometimes excessive resistance will activate the safety
